Mannatong Chicken caused a sensation. On the day the flyers were distributed, people flocked in droves.

"It felt like a sudden realization, 'This is what we should have for dinner tonight.' I couldn't just pass it by."

"Seeing so many people, I found myself in line without even realizing it."

"I ordered delivery after seeing the flyer. The skin looked crispy, and the meat looked tender and juicy. It seemed incredibly delicious."

Thanks to the flyer, the Mannatong Chicken shop owner was over the moon. The sales for the day approached ten million won.

The next day was just as busy. He hired more staff and signed a contract with a quick service company because two motorcycles couldn't handle the influx of orders.

A small coffee shop.

"Thank you so much. Thanks to you, our chicken shop has become a huge success."

The chicken shop owner shook the Demon King's hand and exclaimed. He felt embarrassed about his initial doubts. Now, he would believe even if the Demon King said he made soybeans with red beans.

"It's a natural result."

He chuckled. Although it looked a bit annoying, the owner was already smitten. Instead, he agreed with the Demon King's words.

"Here is the payment for the advertising fee."

The owner handed over an envelope of money. The Demon King took it with a show of reluctance but didn't even bother to count it, thinking such an act would lower his dignity.

"I added a little extra. Haha…."

The owner smiled slyly, implying he hoped for more business in the future. The Demon King nodded slightly.

"I'll be on my way. I have a lot to do to prepare for today's business. I'll go ahead."

There's a saying, "Row the boat when the tide is high." He didn't want to be content with the current success and planned to expand the business further.

The owner bowed and left.

"……"

The Demon King glanced around and quickly opened the envelope to check the amount, as the owner had mentioned adding extra.

Rustle…

The total was 1.5 million won. After deducting the 35,000 won for printing costs, the net profit was over 1.46 million won. The return on effort was enormous.

Grip…

His hand tightened involuntarily. But this was just the beginning. He needed more money. To satisfy his endless greed, even a mountain of gold would not be enough.

He would earn more money and build his kingdom here. The Demon King sipped his coffee, lost in grand visions.

"Hehehe…."

A child sitting next to him said, looking at the Demon King.

"Mom! That uncle is weird."

The child found the Demon King's sinister smile somewhat strange.

Original Jangjeong Spicy Soup.

"Ha…."

Baek Jeonggyun, the owner, sighed.

It was 12 o'clock.

The restaurant should have been bustling with lunch customers, but only flies were flying around.

'Why are there no customers?'

The location was excellent. There were many passersby outside the window. This was why he had paid a high deposit.

'But why! Why are there no customers?'

He had used up all his capital. With only losses, he had ended up in debt last month. If this continued, he might have to sell his house.

'I need to find a way…'

Ding dong.

The entrance opened, and an alert sounded. Thinking it was a customer, he turned his head, but it was his wife.

"Why are you here? You should be at home."

He couldn't speak politely, not wanting to show his failing business.

"Tsk. You've messed up everything, and you're still so stubborn?"

His wife was also short-tempered. The tension was rising, and a fight might break out in the store.

Just as Baek Jeonggyun was about to snap, his wife sat at the counter and pulled out a business card.

"What is it?"

"Can't you read? Look at it and you'll know."

Baek Jeonggyun read the card.

"Ma Wang Company?"

"It's an advertising agency. You know Tae Yoon's father, right?"

"The guy who fries chicken? I know his face."

"He had a huge success recently. Look at this."

His wife pulled out a folded piece of paper, a flyer that would usually end up in the recycling bin.

"Hmm?"

The more he looked, the more he was drawn in. It was a strangely charming flyer.

"Nicely done."

"Right? Just by distributing flyers, people lined up to buy chicken."

"Just distributing flyers won't make a business succeed easily. I've done advertising many times, but it never worked."

When he opened the store, Baek Jeonggyun had spent a lot on advertising to promote his business, but it didn't help.

"Advertising is just for self-comfort. You do it because you can't stand not doing it, but it doesn't really work. Don't fall for the advertisers' talk and go home and take care of the house."

"Ah, my husband is an advertising expert, and I didn't know?"

Her words were clearly sarcastic.

"I've already ordered the flyers. When the quick service company comes, just receive the items properly."

"You've already ordered them?"

"You're so incompetent, so I had to do this. I'll have the ladies distribute the flyers tomorrow. I know what I'm doing."

He was angry at her words but held back. He planned to calculate the sales and throw the amount in front of her face. Once she saw it, she wouldn't interfere with the business again.

"All for nothing. All for nothing."

His wife ignored his words.

In fact, there was something she hadn't told him. If he knew she had spent 3 million won on the flyers, he would surely go ballistic.

"I'll go. Come home straight after work. Don't come home late after drinking."

"Alright. Alright, stop nagging."

His eyes returned to the flyer after pouting. The owner confirmed his wife was far away and made a call.

"This is Jangjeong Spicy Soup next to Baekan Intersection. I'd like to order a chicken."

-Korea Bank

-Deposit: 6,532,000 won

The amount printed on the bankbook was truly astonishing. It was the income he had earned in just three days since starting the business.

The good news didn't stop there.

"This is remarkable. The tumor size has visibly decreased."

The doctor said, wide-eyed. He hadn't received chemotherapy due to lack of money, but the results were clear.

"Would you consider inpatient treatment? A complete cure is not impossible."

The Demon King declined. If the rune of purification was this effective, there was no need to pay for treatment. As he left the hospital, the doctor followed.

"This is an extremely rare case. If you change your mind, please contact me. We will cover the treatment costs."

He just took the business card for now. If anything changed, he would reconsider.

Whistling a tune, he returned home but something caught his eye. It was a flyer for the spicy soup restaurant he had made.

It was crammed into a trash can. The problem was that there were not just one or two such flyers.

"Tch. It just whet people's appetites!"

A passerby threw the flyer on the ground, clearly upset.

'What on earth is happening?'
