Chapter 90

When we arrived at the bustling street, it was still daytime, so there weren't that many people around.

Then, as we continued down the main street of the bustling area, we reached the front of the hotel.

"Is this it..."

It says 'Central Hotel.'

But, it's a pretty fancy hotel...

It looks more luxurious than the Side Hotel in Riet.

"Wow... Are we staying here?"

Even Erica, who represents the common people, is surprised.

"It's not a suite, but let's go in, let's go in."

Since Leonora entered the hotel, we followed her and headed to the reception.

"Hello!"

"Welcome. Are you here for a reservation?"

When Leonora greeted, the woman at the reception bowed politely and asked with a business smile.

"I'm Leonora, and I made a reservation for four people."

"Please wait a moment..."

The woman at the reception started checking the list.

"Are you Leonora von Rietz from Riet?"

"It's me."

"Welcome. You have four private rooms, correct?"

"Yep."

Leonora, who placed both hands on the counter and looked up, seemed like a child.

"Would you like breakfast and dinner?"

"We'll have breakfast, but we'll decide about dinner each time. We'll eat at the hotel today."

"Understood. You can have dinner at the restaurant on the first floor or have it brought to your room."

When the receptionist said this, Leonora turned to me.

"Hmm... We'll eat in this person's room."

Well... I have to go to headquarters, and I might be late...

No, the test is tomorrow, so it's better to keep things the same as usual.

"Seven o'clock should be fine."

I won't work overtime.

"Understood. Breakfast will be a buffet at the restaurant on the first floor. Please wait a moment."

The receptionist went to the back.

"Leonora, about the payment?"

"I've already transferred the money. You can pay me when you get back."

It must be quite expensive for four people... No, wait.

"Since this is a business trip, you should apply for reimbursement of the accommodation expenses."

"Isn't the Central Hotel a bit too expensive?"

"They'll cover 10,000 El. We don't know how many days we'll stay, so apply for the total amount and settle it later."

"Okay, got it."

When Leonora nodded, the receptionist came back.

"Thank you for waiting. Here are your keys. If you want the room cleaned, please return the keys when you check out."

"Got it."

Leonora took the four keys and distributed them to us. The key I received was labeled 304.

"Third floor, huh?"

"Just regular rooms. Let's go, let's go."

We climbed the nearby stairs and reached the third floor.

Then, we looked for room 304.

"Is this it..."

The three girls were standing in front of their rooms, with Adel, Leonora, and Erica lined up on the left.

"What are you going to do now?"

Adel asked.

"I'm going to headquarters to talk to the chief about this job."

"Should we go too? After all, we're supposed to help."

"No, it's not something to do the day before the test. You should review."

You should focus on that.

"Maybe I will..."

"I'll be back around six, and we can have dinner together."

"Got it. Good luck."

You're the one who needs to work hard.

"Right. See you later."

Saying that, I parted ways with the three girls and entered the room.

The room wasn't as luxurious as the suite at the Side Hotel, but it was spacious and elegant.

"Meow!"

Helen jumped off my shoulder, ran to the bed, and dove onto the large bed with a cute meow.

"Good, huh?"

"Yep! It's definitely better to stay in a nice room!"

If you're happy, it must be good.

"I'm going to headquarters. What about you? You can lounge on the bed if you want."

"What are you saying? My place is by Sieg's side. I'm not like some unloved crow."

Dorothee isn't unloved, though.

"Alright, let's go."

"What about lunch?"

Looking at the clock, it was just past 11:00.

"A nearby teishoku restaurant should be fine. It's a hassle to go back anyway."

The three girls will probably eat on their own.

"Got it. Let's go then."

Helen got off the bed and climbed onto me, so we left the room and went down the stairs.

Then, we left the hotel and retraced our steps to head to headquarters.

"Will the three of them pass, Sieg?"

"Probably. They've studied and prepared for their weak areas, and they have the necessary skills. As long as they stay calm during the test, they should be fine. From what I've seen today, they seem to be handling it well."

They were their usual selves and even talked about the test afterward.

This shows they aren't under pressure.

"Sieg is grumpy and dislikes people, but you might be good at this kind of thing."

"What kind of thing?"

I'll ignore the part about being grumpy and disliking people.

It's true, though.

"Taking on and guiding disciples. Sieg has been watching the three of them closely."

"I haven't been watching them all this time. I just started doing it."

"Wasn't it painful?"

"Not really. I often thought, 'Why can't you understand this?' but they're honest and can learn properly."

Honestly, it's thanks to their personalities.

If they were like Chris's disciples, who are annoying, it would be impossible.

Well, I only heard that from Dorothee, so I don't know what they're like.

"Sieg, you're suited for this."

"You think so too? Everyone says so."

"Better than being a demon of promotion."

"True."

I don't know if life would be enjoyable if it was all about knocking others down.

At least, I've never found it enjoyable in my two lives.

"Erica's cooking is better than bread and nutritional supplements, right?"

"Definitely. Her hamburger is delicious."

"Her acqua pazza is also delicious."

Well, it's much more enjoyable than when I was rushing through life.
