"I am Adramelech, the Chancellor of this country. Is Miss Yuria in?"

One day, Lord Adramelech came to my villa. Ruri asked me what to do.

"Since he has taken the trouble to come, please invite him in. And prepare some drinks, please."

When I answered, Ruri nodded and opened the door, leading Adramelech, who had been waiting outside, to the sofa for guests.

"I am Yuria. Lord Adramelech, I am honored by your visit."

After bowing, I sat down on the opposite sofa.

At that moment, Ruri brought out a fragrant cup of tea.

However, I was still sitting, taken aback.

--- Is the Chancellor a flamboyantly dressed peacock man?

The guest I invited in was incredibly flamboyant.

His short bob hair, with a gentle wave, was a deep emerald green, and his eyelashes of the same color were so long they cast shadows. His eyes, with a beauty mark under one, were a deep sapphire. His lips, which curved like a woman's, were a bright red. He wore a perfectly fitting white suit. The pièce de résistance was the peacock feathers that decorated the hem of his cloak like lace. Even the fan he took out from his chest was made of peacock feathers.

Well, to incorporate so many colors without looking vulgar is a testament to his good taste...

--- A bit of an eye sore, though (laughs).

"--- I apologize for spacing out. Did you come here for something specific?"

Startled, I regained my composure and asked about his purpose. As expected, this was a familiar reaction for him. He chuckled behind his fan and answered my question.

"Ah, no need for formalities. Miss Yuria, I'm interested in the 'Floral Water' you created."

He removed the fan from his face and smiled at me. His face, though lightly, was made up, indicating his interest in beauty, even as a man.

"I see. So, Lord Adramelech... you are interested in beauty, even as a man. However, men and women often have different skin types, so whether the rose that is popular among the maids suits your skin..."

Hmm, men often have oily skin.

"That's true. I tried Asteroth's toner, but it didn't quite work for me."

Ah, I see, that makes sense.

"So, you came to me for advice on finding a toner that suits you?"

I gestured for him to drink the tea, which was getting cold, and confirmed.

"Yes, I'll take you up on that."

He took a sip.

"In that case, it depends on the condition of your skin. You don't have dry skin, do you?"

"No, I don't."

"Then, do you have oily skin? Do you have issues with makeup floating?"

"Oh, yes! I guess it's more on that side."

I see.

"In that case, something made from a different herb might be better. Hmm, thyme or lemongrass... They can help balance oil production."

When I said this, Adramelech tilted his head thoughtfully.

"Hmm, I can't really decide which one is better without trying them..."

"Of course, you can't know until you try them. Why don't you have the maids make both when they have free time?"

I asked Ruri to check if any maids were available. A little while later, Ruri returned and said one maid would be free for a while.

"But even if we have the staff, what about the herbs?"

Adramelech looked puzzled.

That's understandable. Normally, you would prepare the herbs before distilling them.

"Could you bear with me a little longer?"

I smiled and led Adramelech to the garden that the gardener Alan had prepared for me.

On the way to the garden, Adramelech murmured in surprise.

"...The surroundings of the villa have changed quite a bit. It looks chaotic, yet the balance is perfect. ...Beautiful."

Adramelech was amazed at the roses and the surroundings that were originally there. New flowers and herbs had been planted, transforming the villa's garden into something like an English garden.

With Alan's help, I had the soil tilled and enriched with compost, created the seeds with magic, and planted and cultivated them.

"There are some plants I haven't seen before..."

Adramelech looked around the garden with curiosity. Some of the plants were not native to this country.

"I can create seeds with magic. Like this... Seed creation, thyme."

When we reached the garden, I sowed the seeds in the new soil that Alan had prepared.

"Seed creation, lemongrass."

Then, I moved to a different spot and sowed lemongrass seeds.

"Growth acceleration."

In response to my words, the thyme and lemongrass sprouted and grew rapidly.

"...See? The herbs are ready."

I smiled at Adramelech, who was watching in amazement.

All that's left is to pick the necessary herbs, give them to the maid, and have her make the floral water.

And that's how Adramelech obtained the floral water for oily skin.
