When Chi Mo opened his eyes again, he saw an unfamiliar wooden ceiling.

"Ugh..."

He reached out to rub his slightly aching head and propped himself up to sit. Looking around, he found himself lying on a bed laid out on a tatami mat.

This was a Japanese-style room, not very large but extremely elegant, with a refreshing fragrance permeating the air. The entire room exuded a Japanese style from the Edo period, with no trace of modern civilization.

"Where am I... huh?"

Chi Mo subconsciously muttered, then noticed something was off. His voice was strange. It was a very pleasant voice, filled with a bewitching charm that made it impossible to determine the gender.

While still in shock, Chi Mo was drawn to a lock of black hair hanging in front of his eyes. He reached up to touch his head and discovered that his short hair had inexplicably turned into long, silky black hair that reached the ground.

A sense of unease rose in his heart. He had lost consciousness under the collapsed building during a sudden earthquake and should have died, but why was he not only still alive but also in such a strange place?

Getting up from the bed on the tatami, his silky black hair spread out on the ground. He reached out to touch it, the smooth sensation making him momentarily dazed.

Then, Chi Mo noticed a table on the other side of the room with a bronze mirror on it. He quickly walked over and carefully examined the reflection in the mirror.

"This..."

Staring wide-eyed at the reflection, Chi Mo was speechless for a long time. The person in the mirror was as delicate as a doll, as beautiful as a fairy, seemingly around sixteen years old. The long black hair, even when standing, spread out on the ground like a skirt. The figure in the mirror was slender, wearing a very ornate black robe with gold trim, and the skin exposed outside the clothing shone with a soft luster like white jade.

"So beautiful..."

Chi Mo was initially stunned, then checked his body in a panic, finally breathing a sigh of relief.

"At least I'm still a man, even if I look like a demon..."

"But... did I really... travel through time?"

Chi Mo frowned, looking at the Japanese-style room. Given the current situation, it seemed that only time travel could explain it. Otherwise, how could a twenty-something college student lose consciousness in an earthquake and wake up transformed like this?

"Click—"

Just as Chi Mo was at a loss, the door to the room opened, and a very beautiful girl walked in. The girl wore a cute white hat, had bright blonde hair, and was dressed in a Taoist robe with a Chinese style, her hands tucked into the sleeves. However, she had nine fluffy tails behind her.

Seeing the girl, the word "nine-tailed fox" flashed through Chi Mo's mind.

"Ah! Young Master Mo, you're awake!"

The girl exclaimed in surprise upon seeing Chi Mo.

Young Master Mo?

The girl's address made Chi Mo frown slightly. Could the original owner of this body be the young master of this girl?

What kind of world had he traveled to, where there were even fox maidens...

Seemingly sensing Chi Mo's confusion, the girl bowed in a Japanese style and smiled, "Nice to meet you! Young Master Mo, I am Yuki Nagato's shikigami, Aya. You can call me Aya!"

Yuki Nagato!

Sakuya the White Fox!

Chi Mo's pupils constricted slightly. The information from the girl's words left him stunned. The girl was named Aya, and she had a master named Yuki Nagato...

So, the world he was in was clear: the demon-infested Gensokyo.

Moreover, Aya seemed to know that he had traveled through time and even knew his name.

"Um... Aya, can you tell me what's going on?"

After a moment of deliberation, Chi Mo asked.

Aya smiled gently, walked over, and opened the window, letting the sunlight stream in.

"Young Master Mo, you can ask Lady Yuki when she arrives. I'm sure she will explain everything to you."

Hearing this, Chi Mo felt a sense of unease. Yuki Nagato, the Sage of Demons, was not an easy person to deal with, having lived for countless years.

"Ah~ Our dear little brother seems to be thinking of something very impolite! It's really heartbreaking..."

A seductive female voice suddenly sounded, and a black crack appeared in the room, filled with fierce eyes.

The Gap!

A stunningly beautiful girl with golden hair and purple eyes stepped out of the gap. She wore a white pleated skirt, a purple yin-yang cloak, and a white lace beret with a red ribbon tied in a large bow at the front. She held an umbrella in one hand and a delicate folding fan in the other, covering the lower half of her face, smiling at Chi Mo.

Yuki Nagato!

"Lady Yuki!" Aya quickly bowed upon seeing Yuki Nagato.

Although Yuki Nagato was extremely beautiful, like the most dazzling gem, Chi Mo was on high alert. This was the demon who had created Gensokyo and could stand against the gods!

"You don't need to be so formal, Mo."

Yuki Nagato, sensing Chi Mo's fear, spoke softly.

"Mo?"

What was with this intimate address?

"May I ask... are you Lady Yuki Nagato?"

Chi Mo asked cautiously.

Yuki Nagato smiled and nodded, then sat down on a cushion by the side. Aya quickly served her a cup of tea that had been prepared.

"Come and sit down."

Yuki Nagato pointed to a cushion opposite her.

Chi Mo had no choice but to sit down cross-legged.

After Chi Mo sat down, Yuki Nagato opened her beautiful eyes and examined him carefully, her eyes filled with satisfaction.

"Um..."

Feeling uncomfortable under Yuki Nagato's gaze, Chi Mo couldn't help but speak.

"Can you tell me what's going on? Why do you call me brother? Why does Aya call me young master?"

With a "snap," Yuki Nagato elegantly closed her fan and pointed the tip to her lips, smiling, "Of course, because Mo, you are our dear little brother. Since you are our brother, you are naturally Aya's young master..."

"Sorry," Chi Mo felt even more confused, "I don't understand..."

"To put it simply, you are now a boundary demon, born in the Gap, just like me. So, naturally, you are my brother. Do you understand?"

Yuki Nagato's words left Chi Mo speechless for a long time.

But Yuki Nagato continued, "Before you were born, I checked your soul and knew some things about you when you were human."

At this point, Yuki Nagato gave Chi Mo a half-smile.

"I'm glad that you, Mo, are different from those disgusting ordinary humans, especially males. You are a good child without those filthy thoughts, so I allowed you to become a boundary demon like me."

"After your human body died, your soul appeared in the Gap for some reason, then unconsciously absorbed the power of the boundary. In a series of almost impossible coincidences, you were reborn with a new body, becoming a boundary demon."

"Thus, you became my brother, Yuki Mo, of the Yuki family."
