### Second Update of the Day
In the twilight sky of the capital, birds were flying back to their nests.
The castle at the center of the capital was surrounded by high walls and deep moats. The white walls were dyed red by the setting sun. In one of the rooms, filled with luxurious furnishings, the hero Marius was sitting at a table with a female priest, flipping through documents.
He frowned dramatically, as if he were an actor, and looked at the documents.
"The Evil Serpent has already been defeated... Chimeras in the mountain castle? Hmm, there will be fewer people to cheer for us."
The female priest, sitting across from him, sighed.
"I don't think we have the luxury to choose. Since you couldn't defeat the Wyvern, we need to lower your rank and take on something you can definitely defeat."
"But that would make it seem like the hero, me, is unreliable! I want a mission where I can be the only one to succeed and receive applause, not one where someone else can take the credit."
"Alec didn't choose, though."
"That's because he didn't choose at all! Just taking the top mission request is ridiculous! It's strange that he's been a hero for so long."
"But he said that since everyone is in the same predicament, we should complete all the non-urgent requests in order."
"But what if he fails?"
"Ha... Yes, you're right. He chose the Wyvern for his first mission as a hero, and he failed."
Marius stopped flipping through the documents and raised his head, frowning at the female priest.
"Do you have a problem with my methods as a hero?"
"Even though you keep saying 'hero, hero,' I am also the top candidate for the next High Priest. If you fail, it will affect me too. Can't you try harder?"
"That's why I'm doing this now, isn't it?!"
Marius glared at the female priest with anger. She shrugged and sighed.
"Ha... It feels like your facade is starting to peel off. Alec never shouted and always completed his missions diligently and honestly for the people."
"What's so good about Alec? He's a washed-up old man who can't even communicate properly! He fails missions all the time, and his kill count is declining. He's already finished as a hero!"
The female priest tilted her head, her blue hair flowing smoothly.
"...Kill count?"
She muttered, but the door suddenly opened, and the matter was left unresolved.
A knight in armor, with a red cape, entered the room.
"Hero Marius, there you are. An emergency has occurred. Can you join the strategy meeting immediately?"
"An emergency?"
"Yes, it has been discovered that a dungeon has invaded the capital."
"Dungeon! A crisis for the capital! This is it!"
Marius stood up with his blue eyes shining and left the room, guided by the knight.
The female priest, left behind, shook her head and pondered. Her blue hair rustled.
"...Kill count? Kill count... Kill count?"
She stood up, shaking her monk's robe, and left the room, muttering to herself.
### ◇ ◇ ◇
In the southeastern forest of the capital at twilight.
Lilithia and I were hunting monsters.
Low-level monsters would disappear just by my approach, so Lilithia used her angelic skills to detect them first. Then, we targeted and defeated the stronger ones.
We cut off the parts needed for the mission and let the sub-unit absorb the rest. Just pressing the sub-unit against the corpse was enough to absorb it. We also absorbed rocks and fallen trees by pressing the sub-unit against them.
Each time, the sub-unit's screen would flash happily.
We continued hunting until the sun set and we could barely see each other's faces.
"Phew... I think we have enough materials now?"
"Yes, we should have a good amount... We've also gathered a lot of items for the mission."
Lilithia reached back and patted her backpack.
While hunting, we had also collected herbs, mushrooms, and insect eggs.
I nodded.
"Alright. Let's clean up and head back! It might be a bit cold, though."
"Y-Yes!"
Lilithia and I returned to the cabin, put down our gear, and went to the pump well in the back.
I gripped the pump handle and pumped it up and down, causing clear water to gush out.
Lilithia extended her hands to catch the water and washed her face, smiling contentedly.
"Ah, I feel refreshed..."
"Not just your face, you need to take off your clothes. It's dark, so it's okay."
"Y-Yes..."
Lilithia blushed and took off her leather armor and monk's robe, exposing her naked body to the gushing water from the pump. Her white skin glistened as the water splashed off it.
I thought aloud.
"Do you need to wash your wings?"
"It's fine, but I can wash them."
Lilithia bent forward, spreading her white wings in the twilight.
She crouched down and wet her wings.
"It's hard to wash them."
I pumped the water with one hand and gently stroked her wings with the other.
Lilithia blushed and shivered.
"If you touch me like that... It's not good, Master—!"
"Why? I think they're beautiful and clean."
"Aah—!"
I gently washed her fluffy wings.
After washing our bodies, Lilithia and I returned to the cabin in the forest.
In the dimly lit cabin, Lilithia pressed her naked body against mine, her soft, large breasts pressing directly against my skin. Her white wings enveloped us.
"It's quite cold at night..."
"Then let's warm each other—"
"Mmm—!"
I covered Lilithia's mouth.
In the quiet cabin, the soft sounds of our tongues intertwining echoed.
Even in this situation, Lilithia's fingertips continued to caress my skin.
—How cute can this fallen angel be?
I grabbed Lilithia's wrists and led her to the bed.
"Let's do a light workout before dinner."
"Aah—Master..."
Lilithia lay on her back on the bed, arms outstretched, inviting me.
I slowly embraced her cold, wet body.
And the bodies we had just washed were soon drenched in sweat again.
In the darkness of the night, Lilithia said in a pouting tone.
"Well, we have to take another bath, don't we?"
"It's too dark to go to the back. Let's do it earlier than planned."
"Okay!"
Lilithia and I, without putting on any equipment, simply draped robes over our naked bodies and left the bed.
We pressed the communication button on the sub-unit and spoke to Kō.
"Kō, do we have enough materials from earlier?"
"Yes, we have plenty."
"Then, transform it."
"Sure thing."
The log cabin expanded.
Walls and doors were formed.
Ultimately, a single-story mansion was created.
According to the blueprint, it was almost square.
The cabin had been integrated into the dungeon.
Lilithia and I stood at the entrance.
The magical light from the ceiling illuminated the room with a clean, bluish-white glow.
Kō said,
"Please confirm."
"Got it."
Lilithia and I inspected the mansion.
It was almost square, with a courtyard in the center.
Just inside the entrance was a place to store adventurer gear, and nearby were a living room and a lounge.
At the back of the mansion were a kitchen and a dining room. The kitchen was connected to the dining room.
Since it was better to group the water-related areas, a bath was also installed near the kitchen.
There were also bedrooms, a living room, a library, a bathroom, guest rooms, storage, and a warehouse.
A disguised dungeon entrance.
Lilithia, clinging to me, said happily,
"Master, you really are amazing... I never thought you would use the dungeon's functions to expand the cabin."
"I thought it would be possible after learning about the dungeon's mechanisms. The original cabin was also prepared by Kō. I'm glad it worked out."
"It's really a luxurious home... exactly as per the blueprint."
"Yes, it's perfect for a former hero and a fallen angel. I wanted a second floor, but the roof would stick out of the trees, making it visible."
"You've thought of everything. Master is reliable."
Lilithia clung to me, pressing her face into my chest. She looked like a cute puppy, and when I petted her head, she happily flapped her wings.
"It's the perfect home, and since it's a dungeon, it won't break. And since Lilithia is an angel, there's no worry about being seen. It's the best."
"But it's unexpectedly large. I'll have to work hard to clean it."
"No, Kō will take care of the cleaning."
"What a comfortable home. It's the best... The only concern is intruders."
"Ordinary adventurers can't reach here while fighting. There are walls and traps, but we should have someone here."
"Let's discuss it with Kō later."
I hugged Lilithia's waist.
"Let's test the comfort level."
"Yes, Master!"
Lilithia pressed her large breasts against me, and her silver hair swayed, emitting a pleasant scent.
Afterward, we used the kitchen for the first time to make a light dinner.
The stove worked without firewood; just turning a switch produced magical flames for cooking.
The pot of meat and vegetables that Lilithia cooked was very tender and flavorful.
We also tested the comfort of the bath, lying together in the white marble tiles and the full bathtub. There was even a shower with warm water.
Finally, in the bedroom, Lilithia's skin turned a rosy hue as she became disheveled.
Her white wings spread, and white feathers fluttered down onto the fluffy bed.
The new home echoed with her cute cries throughout the night.
