“Have you come?”

As Isilis said, which was different from usual, Psili considered it strange. Isilis and Greden, who was only flattered Elisha and mocked Psili every chance they got. But what was with the nice greeting today?

“What is wrong with them? Did they eat the wrong bread?” Psili wondered.

In the evening, the two, busy with Elisha’s grooming, still behaved strangely.

“Eat bread and milk.”

The two took the bread and milk and put it in front of Psilli. Then Elisha stepped forward and offered Psili the bread and milk.

“Eat it. You are the princess of Ctia anyway. Come on, eat it.”

What were they up to? It was strange, but Psili, who was bothered to stay with them longer, ate the bread and drank the milk as they recommended. By the time she emptied a cup of lukewarm milk, Psili felt weird. But when she saw the faces of the three people staring at her with fishy smiles, Psili couldn’t do anything. Psili fell to the floor as her mind was dimmed and her eyes were heavy. As Psili was lying unconscious on the floor, Elisha touched Psili’s body with a tiptoe. When they were sure Psili was deep asleep, Elisha nodded her head at Isilis and Greden, and they both lifted Psili’s body and threw her into Elisha’s bed. As if they had finished their work, the two looked at Elisha, shaking their hands.

“Now let’s go wash up. All we have to do is to wait for His Majesty to come.”

“Now, I’m feeling refreshed that I don’t have to see her face anymore.”

Elisha, who was supported by Greden, entered the bathroom and sat in a bath full of warm water and smiled with a soft face for a long time. In the meantime, Elisha was annoyed by Psili. She couldn’t figure out what Psili was thinking. Sometimes Psili’s expressionless face which Elisha saw through the mirror made her torment. It was bad enough to be embraced by the emperor of the enemy country who trampled on her country and killed her father, and brother, but now Psili’s attitude made Elisha feel like she was a bad person for wanting the emperor’s affection. She felt comfortable thinking that she would no longer see that expressionless face and the olive-colored eyes.

Jed was dumbfounded at the sight in front of him. He laughed as he saw the little girl crouching and sleeping on the wide bed. The girl who looked like a small cat or dog wouldn’t wake up even as he shook her. How could she sleep like that in this imperial palace? Besides, Psili was in the middle of the bed where the emperor and concubine would lie.

“Your Majesty! Please forgive me. She is still a young child.”

“I think she is old enough to know what’s right or wrong.”

With Jed’s cold voice that didn’t feel mercy or compassion, Elisha smiled inwardly, but on the outside, she looked for pity.

“Because she is my blood sister, I couldn’t help it. But I didn’t even think she would do that. Please forgive me.”

“Your Majesty, Elisha has nothing wrong. It’s Psili who didn’t properly educate. “

Greden stepped up and spoke. Emperor Jed looked at her, then laughed. And he said something no one thought of.

“I think so. It’s probably because you didn’t educate her, Shannon!”

Shannon, the chief maid, entered the bedroom at the call of the emperor.

“Because they are from Ctia, they do not know the laws or regulations of the Imperial Palace of Pantheron, so you must take charge of education separately. Especially the maid who is sleeping on that bed. And… get rid of those who fail to fulfill their duties.”

“Yes, Your Majesty.”

Jed turned around and left the bedroom as if he had lost interest. When Jed left, Shannon immediately gave instructions to others as directed. The soldiers of the Harem Castle, under the direction of Shannon, entered the bedroom and dragged Greden out. At the unexpected development, Elisha spoke to Shannon with a confused face.

“What are you going to do with Greden?”

“Did you not hear? His Majesty told me to get rid of her. I just do what I have been commanded.”

“So why, why not that girl, but Greden?”

Shannon replied, kindly tapping Elisha’s hand which was holding her arm.

“The Emperor knows everything that happens in the Empire. This place will be no different. Everyone knows how you treat your so-called sister. His Majesty is not interested in what the concubines do to each other. But he hates being deceived very, very much.”

At Shannon’s words, Elisha intuited her mistake and made excuses.

“I didn’t do it. Isilis and Greden said Psili was annoying and told me to do that.”

After hearing Elisha’s words, Shannon turned and looked at Isilis. Then Elisha immediately removed Isilis’s hand off of her arm as if Elisha doesn’t know her. Shannon laughed as if it was obvious and then called the soldiers to take Isilis.

“I will tell your Majesty that it was the two maids who deceived him and that Elisha was being deceived by them. Well, I’m not sure if he believes it. I will send new maids to serve you. Then, I hope you have a comfortable night.”

Having another soldier carry Psili, who was sleeping, Shannon greeted Elisha and left the bedroom. After the plan failed miserably, Elisha was left alone in her room. She sat back in her seat in a terrible mood seeing all her persons get cut off.

“All this happened because of that girl. Psili, you better not come back here. I won’t leave you alone.”

Psili, who would be educated by Shannon, got carried away from Harem Castle.
