Psili’s steps were heavy as she thanked Felix for taking her to the entrance of Espa Palace. When she thought about the harsh words she would hear from Elisha, Isilis, and Greden, when she returned, a sigh came out, but what should she do? The later she went, the longer she had to listen.

“Well, it will be okay after a few days of cursing.”

It was common to be scolded. Even if Psili worked well, there was yelling and criticizing. On top of that, there was nothing worse than not being able to eat. And this time, she had something to say. It was a big mistake to leave work, but it wasn’t on purpose. Obviously, the end of Psili’s memory was in Elisha’s bedroom. Psili struck the back of her head, opened her eyes wide with a sudden memory.

“Wait a minute. Come to think of it, where did I wake up earlier? Why was I so far from Espa Palace? Why?”

Psili, who recalled her memory, tilted her head at unanswered questions. But then she shook her head and took a deep breath. Anyway, she just had to tell the truth and get scolded for a few days. There was a change in Elisha’s bedroom when Psili arrived. Isilis and Greden, who were Elisha’s maids, were not seen. Unfamiliar faces were leaving Elisha’s bedroom, and when they found Psili, they kindly greeted her.

“My name is Linen. This is Orin. We are the maids appointed to serve Elisha. But who are you..?”

“My name is Psili. I’m a maid who originally worked here.”

At Psili’s words, Linen leaned over and whispered in Orin’s ears.

“Hey. The Spire Princess.”

“Ah~ That princess? But why is she here? Didn’t she get sent away to be educated by Shannon? Did the education finish in one day?”

Psili, who couldn’t understand Orin’s whispering words or Linen’s words, looked at them with expressionless faces, tilted her head, and soon passed them and entered Elisha’s bedroom. Elisha turned to the sound of the door opening and found Psili and got angry immediately. Then she threw the comb she was holding on the floor and stood up in front of the vanity and yelled at Psili.

“Come in here! Do you know what happened to me because of you?”

As if she had completely forgotten what he was trying to say, Elisha blamed Psili for all the discomfort.

“Without you, this would not have happened! Don’t go off and do your job. Well. Since your mother was a maid, you, who was born from her body, would be better suited to be a maid. It seems pathetic that you have neither self-esteem nor pride as a princess.”

Not like a princess. There was no self-esteem. There was no pride either. Just pathetic. For Psili, the sound was just like the laughter of an ant passing by. She had already heard the familiar words countless times ever since she was born, so she didn’t care for or feel sad about it. It’s always happening, and it’s just what she always heard. Psili turned to the laundry bin to do her job. She opened the lid of the laundry bin and tilted her head. The laundry bin, which should be full of laundry streets, was empty.

“It’s strange. There is no laundry.”

At that moment, Elisha, who was looking at the empty laundry bun and seeing Psili’s weirdness, picked up the scissors placed next to the flower pots, as if the anger wasn’t going away. As she approached Psili’s back, Elisha grabbed a handful of Psili’s hair and cut it as far as she could go. Bewildered by Elisha’s sudden actions, Psili struggled to get out of her hands. One was trying to escape and one didn’t want to let go of the hair, and the two ended up in a fight. At the fighting sounds, Linen and Orin who were outside, rushed into the bedroom. Surprised by the sight before their eyes, the two hurriedly moved Elisha away from Psili.

However, Psili’s hair was already messed up without help from Elisha’s scissors, and the bedroom floor was also in disarray with Psili’s cut off the hair. In addition, Psili’s sleeves were torn off as if it got scratched by the tip of pointed scissors, and blood was dripping down.

“Orin, take her out for now. Hurry! “

At Linen’s words, Orin hurriedly took Psili out of the bedroom. When Psili tried to leave the bedroom, Elisha screamed.

“Get out of my sight! Don’t ever let me see you again! Because I’ll kill you. I will cut your neck off, not just your hair! You get it!”

Psili, who came out of the room with the words of Elisha’s swearing criticism behind her, stood blankly in a sudden situation as if she couldn’t understand Elisha’s language, and stared at her shortened hair. Orin sighed, looking at Psili’s messed up hair.

“You better not come here for the time being.”

At Orin’s words, Psili sighed and looked puzzled. There was nowhere to go. What on earth had happened? No matter how much she thought about it, Psili, who was clueless, carefully asked Orin.

“Do you know why Elisha was acting like that? Where did Isilis and Greden go?”

“Well, Linen and I were ordered to come. And they disappeared like that, it would be obvious. It was obvious that they were dead.”

“Why?”

“They must have done something wrong.”

Upon hearing Orin’s words, Psili stood without saying anything for a long time, stiffening her eyes. Psili didn’t understand Orin’s words. Although Isilis and Greden put off all chores for her, they don’t do anything wrong or dishonorable to Elisha. Orin glanced at Psili, who seemed to have no other reaction, with an expressionless face, and soon the bedroom door opened and Linen, who shook her head, beckoned to Psili. Then Orin said.

“Well, I need to get back to work now.”

As Orin turned around and headed for Elisha’s bedroom, Psili stared at her back and tilted her head at a question that couldn’t be resolved. The absence of Isilis and Greden was given its answer, but it was still unanswered why Psili herself woke up in a completely different building than Elisha’s bedroom. Besides, a new question arose.

“Where should I go now?”

After losing her job, Psilli stood hungry, and sat down on the floor, leaning against the corridor wall of Espa Palace. Then she leaned her head against the pillar, holding her knees together with her arms.

“Let’s think about it in the morning. Things can change in the morning. Or not.”

After many hours spent wandering in the large garden,

Psili, who was shocked by Elisha’s sudden behavior, calmed down, perhaps this was due to sleepiness.
