Chapter 98

From the moment Caines launched his attack until Black Diamond transformed and lashed him away, it all happened in an instant.

Just as the three princes were stunned by Black Diamond's massive body, Su Yang stomped hard on the ground and soared into the air, leaving a trail of afterimages as he dashed over two hundred steps to Ling Han, exuding an unprecedented aura of killing intent, as if even the air had been frozen.

Baker and Hunter moved to intercept, but were blocked by Black Diamond's sweeping tail.

After feasting on a large amount of heavenly and earthly spiritual materials in the Spirit Realm, Black Diamond was just half a step away from fully transforming into a dragon. In terms of strength, even Su Yang now couldn't be sure he could handle it.

At this moment, following Su Yang's orders, the long-suppressed Black Diamond exerted all its might.

"Boom! Boom!"

Baker and Hunter, like Caines before them, were forcefully flung away by the immense force, though they were not injured, they could no longer stop Su Yang.

Seeing Su Yang suddenly surge forward, Ling Han's expression changed drastically. No matter how hard he thought, he never expected Su Yang to have such a powerful trump card as Black Diamond.

Ling Han swung his heavy sword, channeling true essence energy to create a black sword aura that slashed at Su Yang's waist.

"Air Slash!"

This was a cultivation technique created by Ling Han's grandfather, Ling Tian, specifically for him when he reached the peak of the Qi Condensation stage. According to Ling Tian, even cultivators at the initial Foundation Establishment stage would find it hard to resist this slash, and the only options were to dodge or defend with a magical tool.

Su Yang, descending from the air, had no chance to dodge, and he had no intention of avoiding the attack.

"Break it!"

Su Yang punched, and purple true fire erupted, shattering the air as his fist collided with the sword aura.

The purple and black, two destructive forces born from true essence energy, met, creating a shockwave that made the air ripple.

Seeing Su Yang break the sword aura with his fist, Ling Han felt a hint of fear for the first time, recalling his grandfather's words when he taught him the "Air Slash."

"Han, the 'Air Slash' is extremely powerful, but with your current cultivation, you can only use it three times. If it fails to injure the enemy, retreat quickly."

"This technique can scare away ordinary initial Foundation Establishment cultivators, but if the opponent resists, it will be very dangerous. Remember this."

Ling Han had always considered Su Yang an ordinary initial Foundation Establishment cultivator, which was not entirely his fault, as there were no other cultivators on Earth besides their family.

"Double Air Slash!"

Ling Han, driven by his determination, swung his heavy sword again, creating two black sword auras that formed a "cross" and slashed at Su Yang.

Feeling the threat, Su Yang showed a rare serious expression, but the wicked smile on his lips never faded. He sliced his palm, and a bizarre purple flame condensed in the air, forming a faint lotus shadow as it burned and rose.

Although it was not entirely clear, if a cultivator well-versed in purple true fire saw it, they would be shocked, as Su Yang, at the initial Foundation Establishment stage, had almost evolved the purple true fire into a purple lotus, which required mid-Foundation Establishment cultivation to achieve.

Since mastering the purple true fire, Su Yang had never released it at full strength until now, causing the temperature within a few dozen meters to rise to a terrifying level. The intense heat from the purple true fire burned away the surrounding air, making it hard to see clearly.

"This 'Chinese Yang' is also an Eastern cultivator, and he is even stronger than Han!" Baker said, his eyes filled with fear.

"This flame is too powerful. If he had released this level of bizarre flame when fighting us earlier, even I wouldn't dare to touch it," Hunter added.

"Stop your nonsense and help me deal with this monster. Its strength is too great. What kind of freak is this? Does it even let people live?" Caines, who was being repeatedly struck by Black Diamond, roared at his companions, who were still marveling.

Black Diamond was incredibly powerful, especially against the Vampires, known for their speed and physical strength. It was more at ease than Su Yang, who possessed the purple true fire.

Firstly, Black Diamond's strength was overwhelming, and even the combined power of the three princes was only equivalent to one of its tail swipes.

The Vampires' speed, which was their greatest strength, was virtually zero against a massive creature like Black Diamond, which was over forty meters long and had rough, tough skin. Black Diamond did not actively attack.

If you wanted to hit it, you had to face its powerful counterattack. Even if you hit it, what could you do? Its scales provided defense far superior to that of an armored tank, and it would only feel a bit of pain, nothing more.

In the air, the partially formed purple lotus collided with the "cross" air slash.

From Ling Han's perspective, the worst outcome would be mutual cancellation. However, when the bizarre lotus touched the cross slash, it exploded with far greater power than the previous purple true fire-infused punch.

The surging flames, like an erupting volcano, instantly sent sparks flying, burning away the two black sword auras as if they had never existed.

What truly terrified Ling Han was that the bizarre lotus did not dissipate but rapidly approached him, the intense heat scorching his body, and half of his hair was instantly burned off.

Su Yang descended from the air with no intention of continuing his attack, as the remaining momentum of the purple lotus had already enveloped Ling Han.

"This is impossible, it's too hot, it's burning me to death."

The lotus enveloped a five-meter radius around Ling Han, and the bizarre purple flames burned everything in the space, even melting the concrete ground into a liquid that flowed into the earth. Ling Han felt as if he were in hell.

"Su Yang, you can't kill me. My father is about to reach the late Foundation Establishment stage, and my grandfather has already reached the Golden Core stage. If you kill me, they will tear you to pieces."

At this moment, Ling Han's heavy sword, which was nearly a magical tool, had been melted, and he had to rely on the defensive light shield created by the Seven Star Lamp, a magical tool given to him by his father. However, with his peak Qi Condensation cultivation, he was already running out of true essence energy, and once the Seven Star Lamp lost its power, he would surely die.

Facing the imminent death, Ling Han roared in terror, "If I die, the Ling family will not let you off. Not only you, but everyone related to you will die a terrible death."

Su Yang seemed not to hear, but the full power of the purple lotus was an effect he had not anticipated. According to the "Four Extremes True Explanation," the advanced form of the purple true fire, the "Purple Lotus," required mid-Foundation Establishment cultivation.

Clearly, being able to summon a semi-formed purple lotus at the initial Foundation Establishment stage was surprising to Su Yang. What shocked him most was the immense power of the "Purple Lotus," which was several times stronger than his previous combination of purple true fire and the Hundred Steps Divine Fist. The visual effect was also stunning.

Hearing Ling Han's threats, Su Yang's eyes lost their killing intent, and a wicked smile appeared on his lips. He spread his hands and said, "I already said I would leave you no remains. Unfortunately, I can't fully control the lotus, so you'll have to settle for a cremation. Oh, what a headache!"

"You—"

Although Su Yang was talking and laughing, the killing intent had dissipated, but Ling Han, enveloped by the purple lotus, was thoroughly terrified. His face, pale from the loss of true essence energy, was filled with fear as he trembled, "Su Yang, spare me. I have a magical tool that I can give you. I can persuade my grandfather to teach you supreme cultivation techniques and powers. We are both cultivators of the Yanhuang tradition. Please let me live."

"Cremating you will leave all your possessions in my hands."

"I have no interest in your grandfather. Your family will soon be destroyed by me. If he truly knows any supreme techniques or powers, it would be suspicious if he didn't pass them to you but to me."

"Do you think you are worthy of inheriting the Yanhuang tradition?"

With each word from Su Yang, Ling Han's face grew paler. When Su Yang finished his third sentence, Ling Han's true essence energy was completely depleted, and the defensive light shield from the Seven Star Lamp faded. Thousands of bizarre purple flames attacked his body, and in an instant, Ling Han was consumed by the flames and vaporized, leaving only the Seven Star Lamp on the ground.

This scene terrified the three princes, who were fighting Black Diamond. They exchanged a glance and, without hesitation, retreated. With their incredible speed, even the massive Black Diamond couldn't stop them, and Su Yang couldn't intercept all of them.

A hint of killing intent flashed in Su Yang's eyes, but he ultimately decided not to pursue them. The main reason was not that he couldn't kill them, but that the full power of the purple lotus had consumed a significant amount of his true essence energy, leaving him with less than thirty percent.

If the three princes had not been so afraid of death and had fought to the death with Su Yang and Black Diamond, Su Yang's current state might have been a challenge.

However, Ling Han's death had a profound impact on them, and combined with Su Yang's earlier massacre of nearly a hundred Vampire elites, they saw "Chinese Yang" as too powerful to resist.

Vampires, with their infinite lifespan, were more afraid of death than ordinary people. The three princes, each as cunning as a fox, had been outsmarted by their own intelligence and missed the best opportunity to kill Su Yang.
