"Now, all the ‘Enhancement Points’ I had bestowed have returned to me."

I let out a small sigh.

These Enhancement Points are a power I create by refining my magic. The more magic I have, the more Enhancement Points I can infuse.

However, my own magic power is only average.

So, every day, I would infuse weapons with Enhancement Points, wait for my magic to naturally recover, and then add more, or convert the magic I gained from defeating monsters into Enhancement Points and infuse them into weapons and armor. I’ve been doing this tedious work for seven years.

"Display my current Enhancement Points."

I muttered the incantation.

A large number appeared in the air.

"13033"

That’s what it said.

"Over ten thousand... I must have worked pretty hard."

I was impressed with myself.

However, I can’t just leave the Enhancement Points floating in the air. If left alone, they will dissipate their magical energy and decrease in quantity.

In other words, Enhancement Points will diminish over time if not infused into an object.

"For now, I’ll infuse them into my sword and clothes. I can transfer them to something else when needed."

I drew the sword from my waist.

It’s a cheap copper sword, but it’s fine to use as a temporary storage for Enhancement Points.

However, Enhancement Points can only be added up to +100 per object. The remaining large number of points must be added to other objects.

"If I add 100 points at a time, I’ll need 131 items... Hmm..."

I don’t have that many items.

"First, I’ll add them to my sword. Then I’ll add them to my clothes, and I’ll think about what to do with the remaining points later."

I added 100 Enhancement Points to the sword.

But I made a mistake in setting the value, off by a couple of digits.

As a result, the Enhancement Points added to the sword were not 100 but 10000!

"Wait, Enhancement Points can be added beyond 100?! I couldn’t do it before..."

...No, wait.

The last time I tried was years ago. Since then, I haven’t tried it again, assuming it was impossible.

"Has my ability as an Enchanter leveled up...? That’s why I could add 10000 Enhancement Points at once?"

I’ll try it with something else.

I added the remaining Enhancement Points to my clothes.

"Really?! This has turned into an incredible weapon and armor..."

The sword is probably equivalent to a legendary weapon, or even better. The clothes have a defense far surpassing ordinary armor.

"With this, I’m invincible... I can make a fortune as a solo adventurer."

I could probably make a living just by doing casual solo activities.

"Seems like I don’t need to worry about living expenses. What should I do next?"
