"Such a big pig! And it’s even a fat dead海棠pig..."
This was the last thought Tang Chuyang had before he lost consciousness. He didn’t know why a pig weighing at least 500 pounds would fall from the sky, or be knocked over. How much force would it take to knock a 500-pound pig into the air?
Or did it fall from an air transport plane? But, is a pig worth air transport?
"Maybe it was a pig that always wanted to experience skydiving..."
When he woke up again, this was Tang Chuyang’s first thought. But after thinking about it, he wanted to laugh. A pig that wanted to skydive? That’s too incredible.
However, before Tang Chuyang could laugh out loud, the intense pain that spread throughout his body, piercing to the bone, almost made him faint again. This must be a hospital, right? Being hit by a pig weighing over 500 pounds from a height of over 100 meters, and I’m still alive? This is simply a miracle of the century!
At this moment, even the pain that could make him faint again felt like a blessing. At least it meant he was still alive. As the saying goes, being alive is the greatest happiness.
But soon, Tang Chuyang no longer felt happy. Suddenly, a cacophony of chaotic, frantic screams, scolding, and mournful cries filled his ears, like he was at an old man’s funeral. And all these chaotic voices were from women.
"Yang'er, wake up quickly! Don’t scare Auntie!"
"Damn the Lin family! Our Tang family has only this one descendant, and they still won’t let us be. Do they really want to make our Tang family extinct? Chuyang, if you don’t wake up, Auntie will make the Lin family pay a heavy price!"
"Little brother, wake up! It’s your second sister, wake up quickly!"
"Auntie, Aunt, is Brother Chuyang about to die? Look at how much blood he’s lost..."
Gradually, Tang Chuyang began to understand the voices around him. Since these women were calling out the name 'Chuyang,' they must be talking about him. But Tang Chuyang was very sure that he had never had an aunt, an auntie, or sisters or younger sisters in his life!
Tang Chuyang was certain he had no living blood relatives because of his profession. He was a true descendant of the Ma Yi School. In layman’s terms, Tang Chuyang was a fortune teller, one who struggled against fate and fortune. He didn’t dare to make friends, let alone have relatives, because anyone who got close to him would die!
"What’s going on? Is there another 'Chuyang' in this ward?"
Tang Chuyang opened his tightly closed eyes out of curiosity. The first thing he saw were pairs of bright, clear, and concerned black eyes. As his vision gradually cleared, he saw the faces of various women, some delicate, some charming, and some elegant, each with their own unique beauty, like a vivid and lively portrait of beauties.
The portrait was so lifelike, especially the concern and care on their faces, which anyone but a fool could understand.
"Who are you...?"
Tang Chuyang was still a bit dazed, but he clearly realized that the 'Chuyang' these women of various beauty were talking about was indeed himself. Otherwise, they wouldn’t be surrounding him with such concern.
"Ah! You’re awake?! Second Aunt, Third Aunt, Fourth Aunt, Elder Aunt, Second Aunt, Younger Aunt, Elder Sister, Younger Sister, Cousin Sister, Cousin Sister, look, Chuyang is awake!!"
The woman with a charming face and expressive large eyes suddenly exclaimed in surprise, spouting a series of titles without turning her head. The newly awakened Tang Chuyang almost got confused again by her rapid-fire titles.
Immediately, Tang Chuyang felt as if he were in a noisy market, surrounded by various women’s screams, cries, and sobs, making him dizzy and almost faint again. These women were really too noisy!
"Be quiet! Since my good grandson is fine, what are you all fussing about?! Don’t you know that the injured need rest? All of you, go outside!!"
A hoarse but powerful female voice roared, pulling Tang Chuyang back from the brink of fainting. The owner of this hoarse voice seemed to have considerable authority. The group of chattering women, upon hearing her roar, all changed their expressions, fell silent, and obediently left Tang Chuyang’s side.
The charming woman with bright eyes, who was the first to notice that Tang Chuyang had woken up, made a face at him before leaving, whispering, "I’ll bring you your favorite ginseng fruit later," and then obediently left with a drooping head.
"Ginseng fruit? Are you kidding? Does that even exist on Earth?"
Tang Chuyang shook his head helplessly and then looked up at the owner of the hoarse voice. It was an old lady with white hair, dressed in a luxurious ancient-style dress, sitting gracefully in a brown armchair. Her long, delicate eyebrows and clear, beautiful eyes made her look kind and gentle. From Tang Chuyang’s professional perspective, her face indicated a person of great wealth and status.
Unfortunately, after looking at the old lady’s entire face, Tang Chuyang couldn’t help but sigh. Although she had a fate of great wealth and status, her high cheekbones, sunken cheeks, pointed chin, thin and sparse eyebrows, and inwardly compressed forehead indicated that she was a person who would harm her husband, children, father, and blood relatives. In short, any man related to her by blood would be harmed by her.
"Fortunately, I have no relation to this old lady..."
This was the only thought that comforted Tang Chuyang after examining the old lady’s face. However, the old lady’s next gentle words made Tang Chuyang’s face turn pale with fear.
"Good grandson, our Tang family only has you left. Fortunately, you’ve made it through. Otherwise, I, this old woman, would have no face to face our ancestors..."
Huh? Good grandson? And the only descendant? Old lady, you can eat whatever you want, but you can’t say things recklessly. I’m a truly solitary person, and the only person in the world with a blood relation to me is myself. Your fate is too strong; I can’t randomly claim kinship.
Your fate, any man who gets close to you will die!
Tang Chuyang was so frightened by the old lady’s words that he almost jumped out of bed. Unfortunately, he was too badly injured. His mind raced, but he couldn’t say a word, his mouth opening and closing soundlessly. No, if you recognize me as a relative, it’s like a covert murder!
In his panic, Tang Chuyang felt a sharp pain in his head, as if something had suddenly drilled into his brain. The terrifying pain lasted less than a second before it made him faint again...
