Chapter 52

The head instructor also had a bitter smile on his face as he said, "That mad summoned beast was killed by Mo Fan."

Xue Musheng, Zhang Jianguo, Luo Yunbo, Pan Lijun, Bai Yang, and the other instructors and teachers all had their mouths form an O!

The one who reacted most intensely was undoubtedly the summoner Bai Yang. He looked at this mere second-year high school student, and his jaw almost hit the ground!

"My Phantom Wolf... was killed by you??" Bai Yang asked in disbelief.

"Yep!" Mo Fan nodded.

For a moment, Bai Yang's expression became extremely bizarre. It was certain that this summoner's inner world was collapsing at this moment!

A mighty Phantom Wolf, killed by a student on his first practical training mission!!!

Damn it, if Bai Yang had known this would be the result, he would rather believe that his Phantom Wolf had crashed into a rock like a stupid rabbit, how humiliating for the wolf beast!!!!

Instructor Bai Yang was completely dispirited, and it was doubtful that even a stack of test papers could calm him down at this moment.

Too much of a blow!

He had never encountered such a devastating thing in his life!

After all, their team had spent two months, using countless resources and manpower, to finally subdue this Phantom Wolf. The result... the result was that it was killed by a second-year high school student. How could they, as instructors, bear this!!!

The students were all stunned like wooden chickens.

They knew all too well how monstrous the Phantom Wolf was, it was a one-sided slaughter for them...

And Mo Fan, just like them, a second-year high school student, killed the Phantom Wolf with his own strength!!!

Kneel down!!!

Really, kneel down!!!

"Also, I have some good news to tell you. Since Mo Fan completed the impossible bounty, all the students in this year's advanced class will receive an A grade for their practical training!" Head Instructor Zhan Kong announced to all the students.

"R-Really??"

"Great, with an A, I can definitely get into a good magic university!!"

"Mo Fan, you are like my savior, the only way to repay you is with soap!"

"Mo Fan, do you have a girlfriend??" A girl who had been saved blushed and asked softly.

"Mo Fan, do you need a boyfriend?"

For a moment, Mo Fan became a hero in everyone's eyes.

After all, he not only saved everyone's lives but also helped everyone get the most important A grade for their practical training!

Zhao Kun, who was used to making sarcastic remarks, was immediately surrounded by fierce glares and had to hold back his words.

Mu Bai's face was still extremely ugly.

He was the first to cast a spell, but it was of no use, and he was directly knocked out by the Phantom Wolf. In the end, Mo Fan took all the glory!

...

...

"Hey, did you hear? That bounty was completed by a student. It seems that Bai Yang's Phantom Wolf was directly killed by that student!"

"Don't talk nonsense, we all know how powerful the Phantom Wolf is. If a student could complete it, I would eat the bounty screen alive." A very muscular leader of a hunter team said.

"Then go eat it now." Pan Lijun glanced at the muscular man and said coldly.

"Go check it out yourself, the bounty has been completed!"

In the station, the old hands raised their heads and indeed found that the bounty was marked as "completed," with "Tianlan Magic High School, second-year student - Mo Fan!" noted below.

"Damn, damn, this young man, he's got some guts!"

All the old hands in the station were stunned!

The face of the one who said he would eat the screen was even uglier.

Damn it, a student really completed a bounty that even they might not be able to complete??

Soon, this news spread throughout the station.

Most of the people in the station, apart from the military mages of Bocheng, were hunter mages who lived by taking bounties and hunting demons. With this news, these old hands all felt ashamed, as they were the ones who had mocked the students the most.

"What about the magic equipment... defensive magic equipment?" The vendor, Er Tuizi, asked urgently.

"Boss Zhan Kong is also in a headache. He didn't prepare any magic equipment because everyone knew the students couldn't complete it... Boss Zhan Kong is a man of his word, he should be buying a defensive magic equipment out of his own pocket to give to that student." Pan Lijun said.

"That student is making a big profit, Boss Zhan Kong's heart is bleeding!"

"Speaking of which, is that kid from some super big family, dressed in luxury, otherwise how could he defeat a demon?"

"Maodan, he's just an ordinary student. I heard his father is just a driver who delivers supplies to our station."

"Then... then he's really a monster!"

"We always deal with demons as a team."

...

In the stone house, Head Instructor Zhan Kong held a box in his hand, looking pained.

"Damn, that black-hearted merchant, he charged me 550,000 for a Scythe Bone Shield, damn it!!" Zhan Kong cursed.

Luo Yunbo, Pan Lijun, and Bai Yang didn't say anything.

Several military mages were secretly laughing. Normally, it was always Boss Zhan Kong who made them suffer in the station, but who knew that Boss Zhan Kong would also have a day like this.

The Scythe Bone Shield was really not cheap, and Boss Zhan Kong had to cut a lot of his salary. This reward was his own promise, and the government definitely wouldn't reimburse it!

"Go call that kid, hmpf!" Zhan Kong said unhappily.

"Boss, I've been here all along." Mo Fan raised his hand and said to the somewhat dazed Head Instructor Zhan Kong.

When Zhan Kong saw Mo Fan, he still felt a bit angry and couldn't understand how he had killed the Phantom Wolf!

"Take it, take it." Zhan Kong handed the Scythe Bone Shield to Mo Fan.

"Head Instructor, can you let go?" Mo Fan said.

Zhan Kong's lips twitched, and he finally let go.

Mo Fan was overjoyed when he got this treasure.

This direct confrontation with a demon made Mo Fan realize that just having offensive abilities was not enough. Any mage who only knew how to attack would be instantly killed by a demon's attack.

If he had a piece of defensive magic equipment, it would truly be a lifesaver before he learned defensive magic!

"Kid, if you can't find a suitable job after graduation, you can come report to me." Zhan Kong said casually.

Although he was reluctant, Zhan Kong had to admire the young man's courage and intelligence.

Many mages lost their lives in battles with demons because of their fixed mindsets, not knowing how to use their limited magic skills effectively.

Indeed, at the beginner mage level, all mages only had one skill, but there were many ways to use that skill. This kid had grasped many of the truths that even old hands hadn't mastered.
