After eating, Wang Yu hurriedly entered the game.

Upon entering the game, Wang Yu's message bar started flashing non-stop.

Wang Yu didn't have many friends, so he assumed it was a system message and ignored it, instead opening his stall to take down the equipment.

Mu Zixian had said that it was the early stages of the game, and leveling up was relatively fast. The longer he delayed, the less valuable the equipment would become.

When he opened his stall, Wang Yu was surprised to find that all the equipment on display had been sold.

"One gold piece per item, and someone actually bought them?" Wang Yu looked at the seven gold coins in his backpack, shaking his head in amazement. "There are really a lot of people with money to burn."

To spend seven thousand yuan on some equipment that was about to expire, they must be incredibly wealthy.

After tidying up his stall, Wang Yu opened the flashing message bar, and several messages appeared.

Mingjian Daosnow: "Brother, can you give me a discount on the equipment?"

Mingjian Daosnow: "Not around?"

Mingjian Daosnow: "Alright, one gold piece per item it is. Let me know if you have anything good in the future..."

System Notice: Mingjian Daosnow requests to add you as a friend.

"..." Wang Yu clicked "Confirm," then closed the message bar, thinking to himself that it was a good thing he wasn't around, or with his easy-going nature, he would have felt bad about haggling.

With seven gold coins in his pocket, Wang Yu felt much less pressure.

Originally, Wang Yu was worried about whether he could earn enough gold by the end of the month, but now, in just one day, he had exceeded his goal.

Next, he needed to complete the quests in the game!

Exiting the beginner village, there were still a lot of players around, and the higher-level monster zones were gradually becoming more crowded.

The Dawn Plains, though not yet the mainstream, already had quite a few players, with small groups of three or four visible everywhere.

On his way, Wang Yu didn't linger for the experience from the wolves and headed straight for the center of the Dawn Plains. As he was walking, he suddenly heard a wind behind him, and an arrow shot towards the back of his head.

Wang Yu frowned, extended his right hand backward, and caught the arrow.

System Notice: You have been maliciously attacked by the team "Sanjie Shengjun Sesshomaru." You have 90 seconds to defend yourself!

Wang Yu turned around and saw four players staring at him in shock.

The four players were a common combination in the Dawn Plains: Warrior, Mage, Archer, and Priest. These four classes were also the most common mainstream classes in "Rebirth."

After attacking Wang Yu, the IDs of the four players appeared above their heads.

The Warrior was named "Professional Shield," the Archer was named "One Shot One Kill," the Mage was named "Wave Hand Destroy All."

The Priest's name was the most noticeable, in gray, "Sanjie Shengjun Sesshomaru." He looked to be about seventeen or eighteen years old and was the leader of this small team.

However, the others didn't seem much older either.

"Did I see that right? Did he just catch the arrow I shot?" "One Shot One Kill" said, wide-eyed.

"Professional Shield" also opened his mouth in disbelief. "It seems so..."

"Wave Hand Destroy All" said calmly, "He's definitely an expert. No wonder he could get so much equipment. I wonder if we can beat him!"

The Priest, "Sanjie Shengjun Sesshomaru," said fiercely, "What's there to be afraid of? With me here, even the greatest expert will die and leave their equipment behind today!" A Priest, a class with no attack power, spoke more arrogantly than a combat class.

In "Rebirth," players of any level could engage in PvP, but below level 10, there was system protection, so they wouldn't lose experience upon death, though the equipment in their backpacks would drop.

"What do you want?" Wang Yu walked over and asked angrily.

Although Wang Yu was a martial artist, he was usually very mild-mannered and rarely initiated fights. He couldn't think of any reason why these people would attack him deliberately.

"Is this guy stupid?" The Priest laughed and said to Wang Yu, "I heard you have a lot of equipment?"

Wang Yu replied unhappily, "The equipment is already sold out. Come back next time if you want to buy!"

"No problem, money works too!" The Priest chuckled.

"Are you trying to rob me?" Wang Yu asked coldly.

Wang Yu was just naive, not stupid. He quickly realized the obvious extortion and felt very frustrated. He never imagined that his first robbery would be in a game, and by a group of kids.

The Priest laughed, "Exactly! You're smart! I suggest you hand it over voluntarily. We don't want to have to use force. Death doesn't cost you experience, but it's not a pleasant experience!"

"Five of you?" Wang Yu frowned, coldly snorted, and suddenly stepped to the side. He then reached out and grabbed a Thief out of the air, grabbing the Thief's head and slamming it to the ground.

It turned out that this team had five members, and the Thief had been stealthed behind Wang Yu, waiting for an opportunity.

But Wang Yu, with years of martial arts training, could sense even the slightest movement within a few dozen meters. How could he not notice someone staring at him with murderous intent?

"!!!!?!!!?"

"How is this possible?!!!"

Seeing the Thief's attack fail and be revealed, the four robbers were all stunned.

The Thief, named "Special Stab," was still in a daze, as if in a dream.

Stealth was completely useless, and the Archer's "Focused Shot" could be caught by hand. When did the Fighter class become so powerful?

Silence, a deathly silence...

"Hey, Sesshomaru, is that really you? I didn't expect us to end up in the same beginner village. What a coincidence!"

At that moment, a voice came from nearby, breaking the silence.

Looking in the direction of the voice, a Priest and a Warrior were walking over. Although the Priest's words conveyed a sense of meeting an old friend, his face was full of disdain and disgust.

Wang Yu was a bit puzzled. Was it a natural leadership quality for Priests, a combat-weak class, that they were always the team leaders?

"Sanjie Shengjun Sesshomaru" saw the newcomers and his face showed surprise. "Wujidog!! This has nothing to do with your 'Quanzhen Sect'! Get lost!"

The Priest walked up to "Sesshomaru" and patted his head. "I didn't expect you to still be a kid. With the college entrance exam coming up, you still have time to play games?"

"Damn it!!" Feeling humiliated by Wujidog, Sesshomaru flew into a rage, swinging his staff to fight "Wujidog," but was knocked to the ground by the Warrior behind Wujidog, who then stabbed Sesshomaru in the throat.

As a Priest, a cloth armor class, Sesshomaru had low defense and health, and being a spirit-focused Priest, he was instantly killed.

Wang Yu's pupils contracted. This Warrior was also in Free Mode!

In System Mode, only the system-defined moves could be used. Using the hilt of a sword to perform the Warrior skill "Heavy Strike" was a clear sign of Free Mode. Anyone who had experienced Free Mode would know the difference.

Seeing their leader killed in one hit, the other four were stunned, standing there, not daring to move.

Wujidog smiled at the remaining players. "Are you also from 'End of the World'?"

The group hurriedly shook their heads. "We're just Sesshomaru's classmates..."

"Oh," Wujidog understood, smiling. "Kids, don't go astray at a young age. Focus on your studies. I don't want to bully you today, so go on!"

The kids nodded repeatedly, their voices trembling. "Y-Yes, thank you, Uncle." They then ran away without looking back.

After dealing with this, Wujidog turned to Wang Yu and said, "Hello, I'm Wujidog! This is my friend, Bao San!" He pointed to the Warrior.

"Hello, I'm Tieniu. Thanks for your help just now!" Wang Yu thanked them.

Although Wang Yu could easily handle those kids, he still appreciated the help.

Wujidog smiled. "How did Brother Tieniu offend the 'End of the World' people?"

Wang Yu scratched his head. "I'm not sure. They seemed to want to rob me for equipment..."

Wujidog smiled. "That's their style! Brother Tieniu, be careful. They're a tough bunch!"

"Just a bunch of kids!" Wang Yu said calmly. Honestly, he didn't take it seriously. Arguing with kids would be a waste of time.

Wujidog laughed. "The 'End of the World' is a powerful faction. Sesshomaru is just a small fry. Brother Tieniu, don't be complacent!"

"Okay, I understand. Thanks for the warning!" Wang Yu nodded in gratitude.

Wujidog added, "Let's add each other as friends. The enemy of my enemy is my friend. If 'End of the World' causes you trouble, just call me!"

"Sure!" Wang Yu nodded and sent friend requests to both of them.

After adding friends, Wujidog said politely, "We won't delay Brother Tieniu's leveling anymore!"

"Okay, see you!" Wang Yu said.

After parting ways, Wang Yu continued toward the center of the Dawn Plains.

Watching Wang Yu's retreating back, Bao San said, "This Fighter is not simple!"

"Really?" Wujidog was slightly surprised. Bao San was very proud and rarely looked up to anyone.

Bao San nodded. "From his skills, he's in Free Mode like me. And he's soloing, so he's probably even stronger than me!"

"Stronger than you?" Wujidog's eyes widened. "You're kidding!"

Bao San smiled. "If you don't believe me, you can follow and see for yourself!"
