Opening the trunk, Zhou Yi watched as Barbara Morse put the ingredients she was going to buy into it, then slammed the car door shut with a loud noise and sat in the passenger seat. Zhou Yi shrugged and drove back the way he came.

He didn't care about the mood of the agent beside him. At this point, both sides knew that Zhou Yi was just toying with the female agent. However, for both sides, this was the least severe action. Zhou Yi was willing to use this playful act to ease the relationship, and the people behind the agent were naturally happy to accept this gesture. As for the female agent's mood after being toyed with, it was insignificant under these circumstances.

Therefore, the agent, Barbara Morse, who knew her place, just endured it, waiting for the moment when she would be released by Zhou Yi. As for why she didn't run away, the instructions she received after contacting Commander Hill were to follow the target's requirements. Under such orders, running away was naturally unnecessary.

Returning to where he had picked up the female agent, Zhou Yi stopped the car and made a gesture to Barbara Morse.

"Alright, Miss Agent, I think I can return your freedom to you."

Barbara Morse opened the car door and looked back at Zhou Yi.

"Mr. Zhou, we don't have an adversarial relationship, and perhaps we have the potential for cooperation..."

Zhou Yi waved his hand, interrupting her.

"I still stand by my words, find someone who can make decisions to talk to me. Also, tell your superiors to stop monitoring me and my family. If anything happens to them, I think our relationship might turn sour. After all, only you know who I am!"

After saying this, Zhou Yi drove straight into his own villa, watching the gate close slowly. Barbara Morse sighed and spoke into her earpiece.

"Commander, I think you heard what he said." As a professional agent, she had more than one way to communicate.

"I received it, Barbara. You can return. I will contact the target separately." Commander Hill's voice came through the earpiece.

Barbara Morse acknowledged the order and drove away. The other agents around her also withdrew as she left.

Zhou Yi watched all of this, keeping his super vision on until the agents were long gone and showed no signs of returning. He then turned it off and put the fresh ingredients into the empty refrigerator.

The only problem was that, to toy with the female agent, he had bought a bit too much this time.

Looking at the still lively blue lobsters and fish, Zhou Yi snapped his fingers, thinking of a good solution.

He first called Xiarisi's phone; at this time, she should have just finished her classes for the day.

"Damn Yi, you actually thought of me?" Xiarisi said angrily as soon as she answered the call. Since the last time she was caught, she had received severe punishment, being confined to her room for a week and not allowed to use her superpowers. Today marked the end of that week.

"Of course, my dear sister!" Zhou Yi held the phone between his ear and shoulder while rolling up his sleeves and putting on an apron. "I always remember the time you were punished."

"I knew you wouldn't say anything nice!" Xiarisi complained. "What else do you want to say? Just get it over with!"

"Alright, little one. Come back tonight. We haven't had a meal together in a long time. I made some Chinese dishes. If you want, you can bring your friends to meet me."

"I'd like to come back, but I'm worried the teachers at school won't let me." There was a commotion in the background, and after a while, Xiarisi replied.

"If that's what you're worried about, I'll invite the teachers from the academy to come with you." Zhou Yi, who had already made up his mind, shared his thoughts with his sister.

"Alright, I knew it would be like this. If your plan works, I have no problem with it." Xiarisi complained a little. Since she knew about Zhou Yi and Ororo's relationship, she had guessed this day would come, but she didn't act out of line because she had a good impression of Ororo.

"Alright, you can go invite your friends now. We'll talk more tonight." After ending the call with Xiarisi, Zhou Yi called Ororo.

"Hello?" Hearing Ororo's voice, Zhou Yi responded with a smile.

"Dear, I was thinking, can we have dinner at my place tonight?"

"Yi? Oh no! I don't think this is a good idea. You know, I think we're moving a bit too fast. You know, last time I definitely drank too much, and..."

Listening to Ororo's rambling, Zhou Yi laughed.

"Hey, baby. Calm down, I was just kidding. It's just a family dinner. I want you and Jean to bring Xiarisi and her friends over. I've prepared some Chinese dishes and want to thank you for taking care of Xiarisi."

"Are you sure?" Ororo's tone was filled with suspicion. She knew Zhou Yi well and knew he was a tricky guy, just like the famous Stark.

"Of course, you can ask Xiarisi. I've already told her to invite her friends." Zhou Yi's tone was sincere.

"Alright, if that's the case. I'll come over tonight." Ororo responded, adding, "Are you sure you don't have any ulterior motives?"

Zhou Yi was amused by this.

"Hey, dear. Am I that bad?"

Ororo naturally recalled all the times Zhou Yi and Scott had clashed and the tricks he had used, and she laughed.

"I think of the unfortunate Scott and the way you toyed with him in the fight last time."

Zhou Yi also recalled how he had used a feint to deliver a fatal blow, and he smiled oddly.

"You know, it's just Scott. Alright, alright. Do what you want. See you tonight, dear." Hearing her unrestrained laughter, Zhou Yi shrugged and hung up, then called Jean Grey.

The phone rang for a while before being answered. Jean Grey's calm and intelligent voice came through.

"Hello, this is Jean Grey."

"It's Zhou Yi." Zhou Yi responded to the clearly busy Jean Grey with a smile. "I was wondering, beautiful Jean, would you like to join my family dinner?"

"Uh? I think you should invite Ororo first, right?" Jean Grey responded hesitantly.

"It's just a family dinner. Not just you, I've also invited Ororo and Xiarisi's friends. Of course, if you want, I'd love to have dinner with you alone."

"You know, I'm very busy and might not have time." Jean Grey instinctively tried to decline. Since she learned that Ororo had stayed overnight at Zhou Yi's place, she didn't want to have deeper contact with him.

"Is it a date with Scott? If so, I'll be sad, but I won't stop you."

"Of course not, just work issues. You know, I'm always busy with the lab."

"Then, why not? I don't think you would refuse me."

Although she wanted to say that she and Zhou Yi didn't have a close relationship, the words wouldn't come out.

She was a person who craved passion but suppressed it. The indescribable feelings she had for Zhou Yi made her both afraid and yearning. On one side, she had Scott, her long-time boyfriend, and Ororo, her good friend. On the other side, there was the irresistible temptation. This sense of betrayal and emotional longing made her feel addicted.

Every time she tried to suppress it with reason, but she never succeeded. Zhou Yi was like an ancient serpent, always tempting her to eat the forbidden fruit. And this time was no exception.

"Alright, I'll come back." Jean Grey sighed and hung up.

Hearing the answer he wanted, Zhou Yi smiled in satisfaction. He and Stark were essentially the same kind of person, but Stark was close to finding his true love, while Zhou Yi was still far from it.

So, he enjoyed this kind of entanglement with beautiful women. Especially those who were quite famous in his original memories, which gave him a sense of conquest.

Love, perhaps not. For these women who were closely related to him, he felt mostly admiration and possessiveness. With his power, he could offer more than those who only talked about love. To him, emotions could be divided.

With the invitations sent, Zhou Yi began preparing the dinner.

Generally, for a family dinner, invitations would be sent one to two days in advance. This gave the host time to prepare and the guests wouldn't feel rushed, leaving room for flexibility.

However, for someone like Zhou Yi, this was usually unnecessary. The people he invited were all deeply connected to him and wouldn't be offended by such minor etiquette. Additionally, with his superhuman abilities, preparing the food was incredibly easy once the ingredients were ready.

Pouring flour and adding water, he used his telekinesis to ensure the flour absorbed the water. Then, with a series of rapid strikes and kneading, the flour quickly turned into a strong dough. With precise cutting and pressing, the dough became perfectly uniform and precise wrappers.

This was a skill he had honed over the years, a practice of deep control over his superpowers. Zhou Yi loved food and naturally applied his abilities to it, putting in a lot of effort to enjoy it better. What he was doing was just one of his many skills.

In no time, the thick dough became three stacks of wrappers. One stack was large and thick for potstickers, another was small and thin for boiled dumplings, and the last was of normal size but thinner for steamed dumplings.

The three ways to eat dumplings were what Zhou Yi had prepared for the family dinner tonight.

After making the wrappers, Zhou Yi picked up a knife and fished out the New Zealand crayfish from the water. These crayfish were sweet and tender, with a delicate sweetness. For Zhou Yi, they were perfect for making shrimp dumplings.

He cut the crayfish's shell from the back, twisted the knife to remove the vein, and then sliced the shrimp meat while keeping the head intact. Finally, he used the back of the knife to press the shrimp, breaking it while maintaining its shape.

Zhou Yi's speed was incredibly fast, and the knife moved so quickly that it was invisible. In this unscientific speed, the 5-pound crayfish were quickly all processed.

After finishing the crayfish, Zhou Yi picked up the marble-patterned A-grade premium beef. This beef, from young calves, was tender and delicious. After removing some of the fatty parts, he chopped it and mixed it with the shrimp.

He then chopped the washed Sichuan bamboo shoots into small pieces, mixed them with the shrimp and beef, and added ginger powder to remove the fishy smell. He also added cooking wine, pepper, salt, and a little olive oil, and kneaded it with his telekinesis until it was firm.

At this point, the filling for the shrimp dumplings was almost ready, but since they only needed about ten minutes to steam, Zhou Yi put the filling in the refrigerator and prepared other things.
