Even after it had been severed from the body, the small section of the tentacle still possessed a vigorous vitality and a terrifying appetite for feeding. It not only burrowed deeper into the body of the one it had pierced but also moved while devouring the surrounding flesh.

In just a few breaths, it had grown significantly. In terms of the efficiency of converting food, the body tissue of this monster had already surpassed all the organisms that had ever existed in the world.

Zhou Yi, not daring to let this small tentacle burrow any deeper, quickly took action. This time, he did not use telekinesis, as he had already guessed that it would likely be ineffective against this small creature. Instead, he used the more mentally taxing force field manipulation.

He formed a miniature strong gravitational field between his fingers and pressed it onto the wound of the unfortunate young man. The small tentacle, being a tangible object, could not escape the influence of the force field.

Under the strong gravitational field, the half-severed tentacle was forcibly pulled out, along with the human flesh it had already torn and chewed. This was something Zhou Yi could consciously control and attract with gravity. The other body tissues were protected by a telekinetic field and were not damaged by the gravitational field.

For the victim, it was merely a loss of a piece of flesh from his shoulder and excessive bleeding. This situation was far better than having a monster inside his body that would continue to devour his flesh.

Holding the small tentacle firmly with the gravitational field, Zhou Yi used telekinesis to push the victim far away in the direction of the crowd. He had no intention of dealing with a troublesome creature while also having to protect an obstructive person.

The monster, having tasted the deliciousness of human flesh, clearly did not want to let such rare food slip away. Even though its biological instincts told it that Zhou Yi was quite dangerous, the instinct to feed overpowered all other thoughts. After all, it was a collection of primitive wills, not a being with clear thinking. Most of the time, its instincts would dominate everything.

Another massive tentacle, composed of a mixture of flesh and blood, shot out, and at the same time, the pile of flesh on the ground began to surge, like rolling mud, causing disgust and fear.

Zhou Yi unfurled his long spear, and the moment the tentacle shot up, he thrust the spearhead into its head. The spearhead, made of Adamantium, was vibrated into a high-speed rotating spiral by Zhou Yi, easily tearing through the tentacle's tissue and shredding it into pieces. A rain of small pieces of flesh and blood fell from the cockpit. When these scattered pieces landed on the ground, they were still moving and slowly moving back towards their mother body.

Zhou Yi wrapped the half-severed tentacle in a repulsive force field and threw it towards the pile of flesh. The controlled repulsive force field landed on the pile of flesh like an invisible giant hammer. The floor of the cockpit shook, and the flesh rolled, with large areas of biological tissue undulating. Part of its body was crushed under the impact of the repulsive force, but it quickly repaired itself and appeared even tougher than before.

The small tentacle, after the repulsive force disappeared, was completely swallowed and digested by the mother body, then assimilated into its body. Clearly, this self-digestion and self-repair function was a manifestation of the collective will of the entire flesh and blood tissue.

When dispersed, they were individual entities, but in the presence of a larger cluster, they would actively integrate and become part of the main body. This clustering meant that unless they were completely eliminated, they would repair themselves in the process of continuous self-clustering.

Zhou Yi did not know what the smallest unit of this clustered consciousness was. However, even at the current level of manifestation, it was enough to make most physical attacks ineffective. No matter how much force you used, unless you could crush it to the smallest unit of will, it would gradually self-gather and recover.

Does such a creature really exist on Earth? Zhou Yi increased the repulsive force, continuously pressing the flesh and blood monster to prevent it from getting closer. At the same time, he thought about ways to eliminate it. He finally decided to take a risk.

A white flame appeared at the tip of the Adamantium spearhead, the color of a flame burning at 4,000 degrees Celsius. As soon as the flame appeared, a wave of heat surged through the cockpit, as if they were suddenly in a steel furnace. Things near the spearhead either melted like snow in the sun or were instantly burned to ashes by the high temperature.

Steel has a melting point of less than 2,000 degrees, let alone a temperature that was twice as high.

Many places began to burn due to the high temperature, and the cockpit even showed slight deformation and softening. Zhou Yi used a telekinetic field to protect the cockpit and the passengers behind him, then thrust the long spear towards the flesh and blood monster.

Faced with such high temperatures, the flesh and blood monster emitted a chaotic and shrill sound, a warning signal generated by the collective tissue using telekinesis in response to the threat. It began to retreat, but its lack of a fixed form made it far less agile than before.

In an instant, the spear had pierced the body of the flesh and blood monster.

The flame began to surge, and the scorching heat began to burn everything around it. The monster emitted a piercing screech, a collective sound of pain from the numerous tissues, continuous and endless, like a file being dragged across a person's nerves.

Although it sounded extremely painful, as if it were in a desperate situation, it was actually just feeling pain. The scattered telekinetic force, though not precisely controlled, was enough to protect it from the flame's damage. It screamed because the high temperature burned through its telekinetic protection.

Pain in a creature with a primitive consciousness would only produce two reactions: attack or retreat. The flesh and blood monster's first reaction was to attack.

Dozens of thick tentacles shot out, lashing out fiercely at the one who had harmed it. These tentacles moved faster than the speed of sound, each one producing a loud whistling sound. The sound was extremely piercing and deadly.

Faced with the attack, Zhou Yi took the initiative. He shook his spear, the spearhead moving like a rain of pear blossoms, layer upon layer, like a dense array of sword blades. The whistling sound from his spear indicated that his attack speed was not slower than the monster's tentacles.

The spear tip struck each tentacle, the blade instantly cutting through the flesh and blood. The sharp air blades continued their momentum, slicing through the air and creating wounds on the flesh and blood monster. These wounds had no effect on it but caused it pain.

Its consciousness did not recognize the concept of a failed attack, and the pain only further stimulated its wild nature. It had fallen into a frenzy. Countless tentacles swung towards Zhou Yi. Whether they hit the target or not, it was simply attacking.

The spear continued to parry, and the rolling flames danced like a beautiful stream of fire at the spear tip. The spear tore through the flesh of the tentacles, and the flames burned its tissue. It seemed to have the upper hand, but in reality, it had little significance for the situation.

Its vitality was too strong, and the damage at this level was not enough to match its self-repair speed. The flesh and blood monster could only feel pain, the pain of being torn and burned. This pain made its agitation worse, and it swung its tentacles frantically, as if the entire cockpit was filled with tentacles made of flesh and blood.

This situation continued until a strange sound was heard.

It was the sound of its tentacles tearing through the cockpit wall. Its attacks, due to their randomness, had hit the cockpit wall. The telekinetic defense field Zhou Yi had set up was almost ineffective against the clustered telekinetic flesh and blood.

Cold air rushed in through the damaged wall, causing the entire plane to shake slightly. Zhou Yi quickly increased his telekinetic force to prevent the wall from being torn further. This was bad news, but for the flesh and blood monster, it was a good thing.

The cold air reduced the burning pain and made it realize that its environment was not limited to the small space around it. The clustered consciousness, unwilling to endure the pain, immediately chose to retreat.

Dozens of tentacles shot towards the damaged wall, breaking through Zhou Yi's telekinetic field and tearing the wall further. The tips of these tentacles then hooked onto the edges of the tear, pulling the mother body towards the opening.

To retreat faster, they found a way to move more quickly. Using these tentacles, they made the seemingly immobile mother body move exceptionally fast, much more agile than a human.

Watching the massive mother body struggle to squeeze through the opening, its heavy body pulling the tear to an alarming size, Zhou Yi became increasingly anxious. He had no way to stop the flesh and blood monster.

Its size was too large, so large that a certain level of force field was required to stop its movement. In such an environment, if he used a powerful force field, Zhou Yi suspected that the entire cockpit would be distorted before the monster was moved. Imagine the shape of a soda can after you suck hard on it; the plane might not look any better.

Forcing it to move by physical means was even less reliable. Not only was the monster's body massive, but even the few giant tentacles could tear the plane apart further.

And what would happen if it was pulled out? The damage was already there. Continuing to fight inside would be futile. It was better to find a different place to fight.

Feeling the plane's shaking and looking at the crowd behind him, Zhou Yi had a new idea.
