"Regarding the shocking monster attack on the AA6137 flight from New York to London, we have invited a renowned biology professor from Oxford University to analyze and comment on the creature involved in this incident."
"American Airlines believes that the cause of this attack should not be attributed to security issues on the airline's part. A spokesperson for American Airlines stated that they do not yet have the capability to detect such biological weapons, and the Federal Security Bureau should have predicted and warned about such situations in advance."
"A spokesperson for the Church of Truth stated that this is God's punishment for the evil in the world. The monster is a devil sent from hell by God to punish those who do not believe in Him."
"This is the New York Times. We interviewed Professor Curt Connors from the Osborn Industries Advanced Bioresearch Lab. This professor, who specializes in biological regeneration, clearly stated that this is a highly regenerative primitive creature. If we can obtain biological samples, humanity will be able to say goodbye to limb disabilities and even internal organ diseases forever."
"The White House spokesperson believes that this attack is a biological weapon assault from the Middle East. The President expressed hope that American citizens will take the issue seriously and support the military strikes against the Middle East by the U.S. military to completely eliminate the possibility of such attacks happening again."
"This is the Times. We interviewed Charlie, a victim of the attack, who lives in London. Charlie believes that without the Dawn Knight, no passengers on the Airbus would have survived. They are very grateful for the heroic actions of this superhero and hope that the country will give this hero the recognition he deserves."
The voice from the TV made Zhou Yi unable to hold back. He took off his tablet glasses and said to Selena, who was intently staring at the TV screen, with a helpless expression.
"Dear, you've been watching these news reports for almost two hours. Are you planning to keep watching them?"
Holding a drink with a red liquid, Selena sat in front of Zhou Yi, hugging her knees. When she heard Zhou Yi's question, she turned her head with an excited look.
"They are talking about you. The whole world is reporting on you. You are already a world-famous figure. This is amazing!"
Zhou Yi rubbed the girl's hair and smiled. "If you want to be famous, wouldn't it be easier to use my real identity? Being a superhero isn't about these superficial things."
"Tell me, what does it feel like to be a superhero? It must be really cool!" The girl crawled over and hugged Zhou Yi's arm, using her way to act cute and beg.
"Do you want to know what it feels like?" Zhou Yi chuckled and pinched her cheeks.
Selena was just about to resist this act of violence when Zhou Yi gently stroked her face.
"Alright, my girl. Someone is coming. If you want to continue, we'll have to wait until next time."
Selena pouted a bit, then got up quickly.
"I'll go welcome the guest!" Saying this, Selena walked towards the front door. Her current identity is Zhou Yi's personal assistant, though she cannot appear in public. However, Zhou Yi intentionally adjusted her schedule so that most of her work is done at night.
This not only accommodates her biological habits but also gives her something to do. After all, idleness can make a person lethargic, and that's not what Zhou Yi wants to see.
At the front door of the villa, the girl could see a woman in a suit with a pair of black-rimmed glasses standing at the gate of the estate through the surveillance camera.
This woman looked quite capable. Her first impression was one of exceptional toughness, even surpassing most men. Only then would people notice her beauty, which was similar to that of an iceberg. Soft lines, bright eyes, a straight nose, and thin lips. These are usually charming features for a woman, but on her, they gave a cold feeling. Even though she was so attractive, no one could endure such coldness.
At the first sight of this woman, Selena felt a strange feeling. She was a gentle girl, and such girls often have a mysterious fondness for naturally strong women, perhaps out of admiration for something they can never achieve.
However, as Zhou Yi's personal assistant, she knew what she had to do. So, through the intercom, she asked the woman on the other side of the camera.
"Hello, this is Mr. Zhou Yi's residence. Do you have an appointment?"
Zhou Yi, as a major shareholder of a super multinational corporation, had many institutions and companies under his control. Although he didn't manage them much, he still needed to know what they were doing each quarter. So, during his free time, he would often order the heads of these institutions to report to him.
Naturally, having received many visitors, Selena had figured out some of the routines. Appointments were the most important part. Not everyone had the right to come and request an audience. For a billionaire like Zhou Yi, there were always people trying to recommend themselves, either for their scientific projects or investment projects.
The more refined ones would meet Zhou Yi at a party or a charity event, introduced by someone else. After a brief understanding of the project, they would decide whether to invest. Then, they would delve deeper into the project, with various experts making judgments before finally deciding to invest.
Don't think this is a casual matter. A scientific project can be a bottomless pit, where you might invest millions of dollars and see no results. Even if there is hope, the waiting time is usually measured in years. So, even big companies like Stark or Osborn wouldn't start too many scientific projects at once. No matter how much money they have, they can't feed these money-hungry beasts. It could even drag down their financial chain.
Compared to those who follow the rules, there are always those who don't. They like to recommend themselves, regardless of the occasion or place. They might rush to you at any time, trying to sell their projects. Even if you stay at home, they will find a way to put their proposals in front of you and talk your ear off.
Some of them might have real talent, but the proportion is very small. With Zhou Yi's experience, he has only seen one such exception. As for the majority, they are just arrogant people with unrealistic fantasies.
Already annoyed by these people, Zhou Yi long ago set a rule not to accept uninvited guests. His personal assistant was well aware of this.
Hearing Selena's question, the woman at the door calmly replied.
"Sorry, I don't have an appointment. But please tell Mr. Zhou Yi that we are agents from the Strategic Homeland Intervention, Enforcement, and Logistics Division (S.H.I.E.L.D.). I believe Mr. Zhou Yi will be willing to meet us."
Selena then noticed a man sitting in the passenger seat next to the woman.
He was a man with a receding hairline, a gentle face, and a kind smile, giving the impression of being approachable and easy to talk to.
Despite having a good impression of both of them, Selena politely said, "I'm sorry, but you don't have an appointment. I can't let you in. Perhaps you can try making an appointment in advance."
Selena's suggestion was not a good one. Zhou Yi was known for being strict in this regard. Apart from a few close friends or important laboratory recommendations, it was difficult for ordinary people to get an appointment, even through insiders at Osborn or Stark. To put it bluntly, he didn't want to be bothered by irrelevant people.
The woman's expression didn't change because of this. She said to Selena again.
"Miss, can you do me a small favor? I believe that if you convey this to Mr. Zhou Yi, he won't mind giving us a meeting."
Selena hesitated for a moment, but her inner fondness eventually made her give in.
"Alright, please wait a moment."
Watching the girl disappear from the other side of the camera, the man with the smile turned to the woman beside him and teased.
"I think using a girl's fondness is a bit unfair, don't you think, Commander Hill?"
"It's not about using her," Maria Hill replied coldly, crossing her arms. "Compared to the techniques used by agents, my method is just normal social interaction. You're overthinking it, Agent Coulson."
"Is that so?" Phil Coulson, with a mischievous twinkle in his eyes, said. "Using an agent's psychological analysis techniques on a vampire girl has become normal social interaction. Hill, can you tell me when you last went on a date? Was it in high school?"
"I started training at the Academy at 14, so your question is meaningless!" Hill's eyes shot daggers at Coulson's hairline. Those who knew her well knew that when she stared at someone's weakness like this, it meant she was really angry.
"Alright, fine." Coulson wisely raised his hands. Fighting with Commander Hill would bring him no benefits, especially just for a bit of teasing. If he got on her bad side, he would become a laughingstock for a while.
"I admit I was being silly. Let's talk about the real matter. Do you really want the Dawn Knight to join us?"
Dealing with Commander Hill, Coulson had his own unique methods. Pulling her back to the main topic was a good way to make her put aside any personal issues. After all, they were the right-hand people of S.H.I.E.L.D. Director Nick Fury and knew each other too well.
