"Ahh—!" A piercing scream echoed through the luxurious and ancient room.
"I won't give birth anymore—! It hurts too much! Long Leilei, you scoundrel. One was not enough, you had to plant two, it's killing me..."
"Wife, you can do it, you're the best. Yes, it's fine, bite my arm as hard as you want, I don't feel any pain at all."
"Lord Long, you shouldn't be here while your wife is giving birth. Please leave quickly," the midwife urged anxiously.
"Rubbish, if he dares to leave, I won't give birth. I'll bite you to death, ahh—!"
The piercing screams seemed to reverberate through the surrounding streets.
Gradually, the screams began to weaken.
"Wife, you can do it, you can do it, the first one is out, victory is just ahead. Sigh, the one behind, don't kick your brother! Why are you so impatient? Midwife, is it normal for the second one to come out feet first?" The anxious voice echoed continuously in the room.
"Wah wah wah!" The loud cries of a newborn baby filled the room, the first one was finally born.
"Long... Leilei... you promised... the emerald... bracelet... don't forget... to buy it..." the wife said weakly.
"Buy, buy, buy the transparent green one."
"Alright, then... I'll... try my best... to give... you... the second... one... as well."
A moment later.
"Wah wah wah!" Another loud cry, a baby identical to the first one was born.
"Congratulations, Lord Long, it's a son. Twin boys. You and your wife are truly blessed!"
"What? No daughters at all?" Long Leilei's eyes widened.
"Long Leilei, what do you mean by that?" The wife's voice was intermittent, and she almost sat up.
"Sons are fine too, sons are good, yes, sons are good." Long Leilei hurried to soothe her.
After another chaotic moment, the room finally quieted down.
The two identical newborns lay side by side next to their mother.
Looking at his wife's pale face, Long Leilei felt a deep pain, "It's all because of these two little ones, you've really worked hard, my dear."
The wife gave him a glare, hooked her finger, and tugged at his sleeve.
"Does it hurt? I didn't hold back just now." She said softly.
"It doesn't hurt, it doesn't hurt. Even if it did, how could it compare to the pain of giving birth? What could be more painful than that?"
The woman chuckled and gave him another glare, but her eyes were filled with tenderness, "Let's give our babies names."
Long Leilei nodded quickly, "In our family, we always use repeated characters for names, like my sister, Long Shanshan, and me, Long Leilei. I had already thought of a name, but I didn't expect you to give me two at once."
"What name did you think of?" The wife asked curiously.
Long Leilei said proudly, "My son will surely be a powerful and dominant figure in the future. Let's use the character 'Ba' (霸), what do you think?"
The wife murmured, "Long Ba? Repeated, Long Baba?"
Long Leilei's face lit up, "Yes, exactly that." He didn't notice that his wife's face was starting to darken.
"Then should we use 'Ma' (麻) for the other one?"
"Why? Long Mama, doesn't that sound bad?" Long Leilei was still clueless.
"Slap!" The wife, struggling to support herself, slapped Long Leilei's hand, "What nonsense, who calls their son Baba? Are you stupid? Long Baba, Long Mama, how could you come up with such names?"
"Ouch!" Long Leilei felt the pain and his expression turned awkward, "I, I didn't think of it that way! But, Long Mama was your idea, not mine."
"You're trying to shirk responsibility?"
After a long time!
The couple thought of over a dozen names, but none of them were satisfactory. The wife was so angry she didn't want to speak anymore.
"Go, open the window for some fresh air, I'm suffocating."
"Be good, you just gave birth, you can't catch a chill."
"It's the middle of summer, how can I catch a chill? Are you going to open it or not?"
"Alright, alright, I'll open it, I'll shield you from the wind."
As he spoke, Long Leilei hurried to the window and opened it. To prevent his wife from catching a chill, he stood in front of the window, using his body to block the somewhat stifling night breeze. When he looked up, he saw a bright moon hanging high in the sky.
"Wife, I've got it, I've thought of names for our children. Tonight, the moon shines bright!"

The book "The Moon Shines Bright" is a promise made ten years ago. After the conclusion of the Douluo novel series, I've always remembered the unfinished story from "The Divine Seal Throne." So, I created "The Divine Seal Throne: The God of the Heavenly Guard," and now this book, which is the only sequel to "The Divine Seal Throne." I hope everyone enjoys it.
