chapter 63

Abeno-senpai took out a bento in the express train which was on it’s way to Hakone Spas .

“Let’s hold a strategy meeting . ”

“A strategy meeting?”

“Yes . First we need to sort out the situation . If we fail and two out of the three shrines get destroyed then it’s over and there’ll be earthquakes and Hyakki Yagyou . And the other 2 shrines are in the mountains of Hakone . The ceremony beings around the same time, tomorrow’s evening . ”

“That’s the story . And then probably Sakaguchi-san and the Guardians will split up in 2 groups to destroy the shrines . ”

“Honestly speaking, I can’t defeat Lela Sakaguchi and I also can deal with 2 Guardians at best . If I get 5 people, then it’s game over . ”

“Didn’t you say… that there were prospects of winning?

Abeno-senpai nodded .

“Aren’t you here?”

“Eh?”

“You can move at the speed of sound, right? I can survive for 1 minute no matter who comes . Then isn’t fine for you to deal swiftly and come?”

“Finish my side in just 1 minute and then rush to senpai? It’s easier said than done…”

“But, it’s true . ”

I told the truth I hid from Abeno-senpai .

“I don’t have… MP . ”

“Hn? What do you mean?”

“The earth’s mana source is thin . If it was the different world I would have had completely recovered just by sleeping and then getting up, but… sleeping and getting up on Earth recovers only 10 mp . Originally, when I returned, it was right after the battle with the Demon King… The battle with Nine-Tails was also me taking a risk . ”

Abeno-senpai opened her mouth wide with a surprised expression .

“Eh!?”

“And then I gave my MP to senpai so my MP is zero . Skills also expend MP…”

“Basically, what are you trying to say?”

“I’m running on fumes . If it’s the current me then I won’t be able to defeat the Nine-Tails or even move at the speed of sound . ”

Uwaa… She made such an expression and looked at me like she was looking at some unfortunate thing .

“Morishita-kun?”

“On the TV isn’t there a program where they introduce people who’ve experienced strange episodes overseas?”

“Stories such as conquering incurable diseases, jailbreak and tragic love?”

“Yeah, those . So, the tragic love story in the end somehow becomes a happy ending, right?”

“Yes, certainly . ”

“So for the reproduction video beautiful white actors are playing . ”

“Yes . ”

“And, after the happy ending there’s an episode on the current two actors, right?”

“Yeah, there is . ”

“The likelihood of their faces being ugly is ultra-high, right?”

“Certainly… that’s so . ”

“My current feelings are practically like seeing both actors after the happy ending . ”

“Are you trying to say you’re feeling indescribable emotions that you can’t express with words!?”

“That’s correct . The MP-less you… You’re truly shitty bitch bastard, aren’t you?”

Abeno-senpai made a really deplorable expression .

Rather, her tongue is really sharp .

“By the way, Morishita-kun?”

“What is it?”

“The magic sleeping in the center of the city… No, the MP like saying it in the different world words . There’s no way a monster like you with 4000 mp will be able to recover it . ”

“What do you mean?”

“Magical power is nature’s aura storing up in your body . If you sleep in a Power Spot then your recovery will be fast . ”

“Eh!? That was possible?”

“Speaking of Japan there’s Mount Fuji… Aren’t there also facilities and shrines built upon Dragon Veins where you recover 200~300 per day?”

I’ve made a miscalculation .

There were such recovery methods…

Rather, I’ve been completely negligent since I didn’t think there would be any conflict in Japan hence my small MP wouldn’t be a concern .

“But this is truly troubling . If you stop at Hakone’s shrine one night… Well, I think you’ll recover 100~200, but . ”

“100~200 MP, is it? Well, if it’s only that much then I can move at the speed of sound and it’s possible to beat both sides . My MP will become almost empty if I move long-distance at the speed of sound . ”

Abeno-senpai again made an expression like she was looking at some unfortunate thing .

“It’s not like there’s a 98% chance of beating Lela Sakaguchi and ending it there . Probably… if something like the Nine-tails comes it will be troubling if your MP is zero because of moving . ”

I was thinking while spreading the map .

“If it’s my highest speed and doesn’t reach the speed of sound then it will take around 10 minutes . Even if my status is without skills as expected I can take Sakaguchi-san and others around her strength… Leaving me aside, senpai will be completely defeat during that time . The opponent will also know I’m rushing there and will try to swiftly deal with senpai and destroy the shrine…”

“This is truly a disaster . I thought that the only redeemable thing about you was being strong… To think you were empty… Truly shitty bitch bastard . ”

Calling me shitty bitch bastard…

She’s really an extreme woman .

【Skill：Mental Attack Resistance（Medium）has activated . 】

Thank you God’s Voice .

Rather, If I didn’t have God’s Voice then I wouldn’t have been able to converse with this woman .

“It’s completely your fault!”

“Certainly, it might be my fault for not taking my left-over MP seriously . ”

“That’s not where it’s wrong . The main point is why it isn’t it like the Dragon Quest System! Status equals Strength… Isn’t it a easy to understand different world!”

“Dragon Quest… Is it?”

“That’s right! Isn’t it your fault that you went into a different world with a system that dopes your status with overlapping and amplifying skills!?”

“You’re talking about the place!? Rather, is that even my fault!?”

She’s unreasonable .

I can’t change that with my effort .

Senpai made a grim expression .

“As expected… Even I am losing hope . Nothing comes to mind . ”

“The point is, I don’t need to move at high speed… Basically, senpai should be able to fight against them for a bit longer?”

“What are you saying, Morishita-kun . If I could do that then I won’t have problems . ”

I nodded .

I never wanted to use this method, but… Sacrifices must be made .

“Then senpai— Do you want to go to the other world for a short-time to level up?”
