It felt like a dream.

In a white space, I encountered a woman who looked like a doll, and I rejected her proposal.

"I won't go with them."

Her expression, which had been blank, twisted at my clear refusal.

I thought that even if I refused, I couldn't go against her will, but it was worth a try.

My consciousness soon faded.

As I went right, I felt thirsty. I took out the water bottle from my rucksack to drink, but it was empty.

I had thought it was unusually light, and it turned out there was nothing inside. The god was not very considerate.

I had no choice but to keep going. I came across a small bridge. It was a simple wooden bridge with no handrails or guardrails, and it looked quite flimsy.

I stepped onto the bridge over a small stream about three meters wide, stopped in the middle, and looked down at the stream. I could see small fish in the clear water.

The presence of small fish suggested that the water was drinkable. I crossed the bridge, descended a small slope, and put my hand in the water. It was cold.

I gently shook my hand, cupped it like a bowl, and scooped up some water to drink. It was quite delicious. If it didn't make me sick, it would be great. I filled my water bottle and, as I stood up, I noticed something strange about my reflection in the water.

Is that me? I crouched down in a hurry and looked at my face in the water.

I looked nothing like my former self, more like a Westerner. My hair, which was semi-long, was not white but silver. My eyes were golden.

"Come to think of it, my clothes weren't my school uniform either…"

Only now did I realize that my appearance had completely changed to that of a different person.

The god had said that because a hero summoning ritual was performed, my entire class was summoned.

I thought it was a transfer, but it seems I was possessed or reincarnated into a different body.

"You made me quite cute…"

I wasn't that noticeable before, but my current face was quite cute, almost like a girl.

In that group of carriages and horses, there was a girl with animal ears!

I moved to the side of the road and stared at the girl with animal ears. I thought she was a cat-like beast person, and her soft, triangular ears seemed to be beckoning me.

I couldn't help but feel excited.

The woman with long, pointed ears was a work of art in her beauty.

I was staring so intently that she glared at me.

I liked this world.

I moved quickly, but the screen followed me. It seemed to always stay at a certain distance from me.

Some of the jobs were a bit ominous, but maybe they were a result of my past.

Putting that aside, I focused on using the Item Box, and the screen changed.

A screen with small squares, like the faces of a Rubik's Cube, appeared.

It seemed I could store items in the small squares. With 4 rows and 5 columns, I could store 20 items.

The top two rows, 10 slots, were already filled. That meant there were items in them.

I appraised each item in detail, and my cheeks relaxed as I went through them.

"Um, to equip these items…"

Above the Item Box screen, there were 8 quick equip slots.

You could set items for your head, both ears, neck, torso, both arms, both legs, right hand, and left hand.

If you set items here, you could equip them just by focusing on them.

There were three types of swords, two types of shields, two types of chest armor, and three types of potions.

The three swords, in simple terms, were a very strong sword, a strong sword, and a normal sword. I focused on setting the very strong sword in the quick equip slot.

One slot in the Item Box became empty, and the sword appeared in the quick equip slot.
