"Rosalina, I'm going to cast Enchant Fire now. Please bear with it a little longer."

"No problem at all."

I solidified the image of casting the spell and activated Enchant Fire.

I felt something being drained from within me. It was my MP being consumed.

While other jobs also had skills that consumed MP, I hadn't felt the decrease before. It seems Enchanters are particularly sensitive to MP consumption.

A small flame, about the size of a candle, flew cutely and wrapped around Rosalina's arm.

The flame then grew larger, enveloping Rosalina's fist. Is it not hot?

"Rosalina, are you okay?"

"Absolutely no problem."

She dodged the Gargoyle's attack, landed, and kicked off the floor to approach the Gargoyle.

It was good to see that the movement was not hindered. If it had been, it would have been a useless skill.

The moment she punched, the flame on her fist burned the Gargoyle. The Gargoyle's HP, which had been decreasing by only 1 to 2 points, dropped by 83 points with this one hit. The additional effect must have reduced over 80 points.

Even though the Gargoyle's MIN and MDEF values were low, I didn't expect such damage.

As my Enchanter level increases, the additional effect will become even stronger.

If Rosalina activates her active skills like Iron Fist and Kick, and her unique skill, Aura, the damage will be even greater.

However, if she activates Aura, Enchant Fire might not be necessary.

Rosalina defeated the Gargoyle. She didn't receive any attacks, but her attacks also didn't land much. She had a hard time, but with Enchant Fire, she was able to defeat it smoothly.

If even Rosalina had such a hard time, a party of only swordsmen or spearmen would probably not be able to defeat a Gargoyle at all.

Gargoyles, being made of stone, move slowly, but they can fly and are very hard. If not careful, swordsmen could be wiped out.

"Rosalina, who had such a hard time, was able to defeat the Gargoyle with your magic. What kind of magic is this Enchant Fire?"

Even a mage like Annelise doesn't know this magic?

"Enchant Fire is a spell that imbues fire attributes. It adds the effect of fire attributes to the attacks of explorers like Rosalina, who can only perform physical attacks, allowing them to deal fire damage to enemies. I think it's very effective for jobs like Rosalina's, which have many attacks."

"Such a spell exists... It's like creating a magic sword with magic."

Speaking of which, there are things like magic swords. It might be correct to think that Enchanters can create simple magic swords. Enchant Fire is not the only spell, so I think it's a job that every party should have one of.

"The job I obtained from the magic book this time is a rare one called Enchanter."

Rosalina had already picked up the dropped items and returned.

"Enchanters can't attack directly, but they can enhance their allies with magic. Think of it that way."

"I understand. Rosalina is also good."

"Yes."

Rosalina, who answered with enthusiasm, probably didn't understand. But she responds instinctively, so that's fine.

"Still, you are quite unconventional, Master."

"Huh?"

"Normally, you can't change jobs without going to the temple."

It's too late for that now.

"Also, the jobs you obtain are all rare."

I agree with that.

The jobs like the Hero of the Two-Handed Sword and the Sword Master were obtained because I met the conditions, but this Enchanter is purely a matter of luck. A 1 in 10,000 chance is not something that happens often.

"It's rare to get an Enchanter, which is already rare, as a mage. You really did well, Master."

"Indeed."

She doesn't understand, but she rides the wave and rejoices. I pat her head.

"By the way, keep the job a secret, okay?"

"Of course, I understand."

"Yes."

To be honest, the level of the Hero of the Two-Handed Sword is 14, and I learned the skill Ice Slash at level 10.

This Ice Slash is a skill that launches an ice attribute slash, which is perfect for attacking flying Gargoyles and deals damage due to the ice attribute.

That day, we explored halfway through the 6th floor and left the dungeon.

If we went to the boss room, we wouldn't make it in time for dinner. The servants had prepared delicious meals, so we couldn't skip it.

Zoppa, the cook, was indeed skilled.

He became a cook to eat delicious food himself, and it shows.

We exchanged items at the Explorer's Guild. Thanks to the thieves, the items from the 4th floor were still in the item box, so we exchanged those as well.

<4th Floor>

- Thread Spider's normal drop: 22 cotton threads, 1760 grils.

- Black Ant's rare drop: 1 black ant iron carapace, 8000 grils.

*Total for 4th floor: 61850 grils.

<5th Floor>

- Labyrinth Cow's normal drop: 31 labyrinth beef, 6200 grils.

- Labyrinth Cow's normal drop: 24 G-rank magic stones, 6000 grils.

- Labyrinth Cow's rare drop: 5 labyrinth cow hides, 12500 grils.

- Labyrinth Bull's rare drop: 1 labyrinth bull horn, 11000 grils.

*Total for 5th floor: 35700 grils.

<6th Floor>

- Gargoyle's normal drop: 13 F-rank magic stones, 7800 grils.

*Total for 6th floor: 7800 grils.

The total is 105350 grils, which is enough to cover the Montalque family's salary for three days.

Interestingly, the Gargoyle's normal drop was only F-rank magic stones. Maybe it's because they are moving stone statues?

Additionally, we kept 4 pieces of labyrinth beef from the Labyrinth Cows. They weigh about 4 kilograms, so we plan to store them in the item box and take them out periodically.

We also obtained a rare drop from the Gargoyle, a Petrifying Dagger (25000 grils), but we decided to keep it instead of selling it.

The Petrifying Dagger has a 15% chance of petrifying the target. I think it will activate if you keep poking it.

By the way, even if I, an Enchanter, tried to equip it, it felt heavy. It seems I can't equip any swords.

This Petrifying Dagger was also sold at Gorteo's shop, but the retail price was 50000 grils. The exchange rate is double what we got, but I think it's because the Explorer's Guild is involved. There might even be middlemen involved.
