The second meeting was still at 5:30.
Uncle Jiang was a very disciplined person. He went to bed at 10:30 every day, got up at 4:30, exercised for an hour, and then dealt with work, rain or shine.
Ordinary middle-aged people at his age basically began to indulge themselves, so this restraint was even cruel.
When Huoren knocked on the door, he was repeating the same to himself again and again in his mind, and kept in control his feet when he went in.
He had limited opportunities. He couldn’t miss this one.
The old agent was wearing a gray blue plaid suit, and his sunglasses were still not taken off.
The boy bowed cautiously and sat down after getting permission.
“I’ll start.”
Huoren stared at the pair of sunglasses and smoothly reminded him the end of their last meeting as he couldn’t see his reaction.
“…my answer.”
Uncle Jiang didn’t respond. He started pressing the ballpoint pen again.
He did it and then he stopped, it was very random.
Huoren fully understood why others were afraid and respected him.
His mind was too difficult to intuit. He could never guess what was on his mind at this moment or in the future.
“What do you want to be?”
Huoren didn’t hesitate: “The Ace.”
Ace, the trump card, the core, an all-rounder.
Uncle Jiang took off his sunglasses and looked at him with a smile.
His eyes were as sharp as an eagle’s, like a saber with a blade full of blood, which can make all camouflage disappear.
Huoren almost instinctively wanted to step back, so he forced himself to face him before his body moved, and looked at him without fear.
“I want to be the Ace of Corona.” Huoren repeated again.
“Singing, dancing, playing, composing, choreography, rap.”
“I’ll be what Corona needs.”
Uncle Jiang really made him feel pressure with sunglasses on, but after he really took off his sunglasses, his eyes became more penetrating. Just looking for a few seconds can make people’s backs numb.
He looked at Huoren for a few seconds and put his sunglasses back on.
“Corona.” Middle aged people always read English with some accent: “Six letters, a total of six members. Everyone will have their customized programs, exclusive music resources and stage opportunities to become the best one in luxury and fashion.” He leaned slowly against the edge of the table and said with his old smoke voice.
“You want to be the C. There is only one C, which means core, the best.”
Huoren gripped the edge of the chair with his fingers, lowered his head and said in a deep voice: “Yes. That’s my choice and will not change.”
In terms of individual capacities, the five people in the group had already occupied all of them, and there was no room for him.
Uncle Jiang smiled very softly.
“You’re still a lot behind.”
“But I’m fast enough.” The young man’s eyes were cold: “I can do it.”
Don’t hide your power, don’t hide your sharp point.
If he didn’t grasp this opportunity now, no matter how ambitious he was, everything would only become empty talk.
Uncle Jiang put his information page aside and nodded.
“Get out.”
Huoren was used to this conversation and got up and put the chair back in place again.
“Thank you.”
He had made it clear what should be clarified the most.
For next time, he just had to work hard and leave everything to God’s will.
Back downstairs, the manager was posting the latest dormitory allocation notice form on the bulletin board.
“Huoren, are you back?” Five or six small thumbtacks were in his right hand. He looked at him while he was doing his work: “You don’t know, but there was a little fool who made the opposite door room smell like durian stewed stinky tofu.”
“I can’t do anything, how annoying. It’s not easy for our company to call the police for this kind of thing. It will be hard to smell it for five days.” The manager said “This type of brat needs a spank, making him pay won’t solve my hatred.”
Huoren leaned over to look at the new dormitory locations and then answered with a noise.
He was still a little reluctant to give up being with Yun-ge.
Xie Lianyun usually had many strange problems, but he was very kind to his friends and often handed over sugar to him.
Looking down line by line, he finally found his name.
C311 Longjia | Huoren
C312 Xie Lianyun | Chi Ji
Huoren was relieved that Yun was with Chi Ji, who was not very sociable, and continued to check the time.
With the durian bomb making such a fuss, the locations will continue until the end of the screening.
Xie Lianyun didn’t pack until the last hour. It took him more than 20 minutes to take care of the pile of electronic equipment.
“Hey, where’s my Bluetooth headset?”
“At the head of your bed.”
“I can’t find my headphones…”
“You just put it in the box.”
“Huoren, Huoren, can you see my headphones?”
“In the cabinet on the second row at the bottom right of the bookshelf, you were afraid of losing it.”
Although Huoren didn’t really trust leaving him alone, fortunately, Chi Ji came and helped him pack, so he could leave first.
When he knocked on the door of C311 with his bag, there was a moment of silence in the air.
Bo Jue sat next to the four boxes, with a look like he had achieved supreme enlightenment, as if he had become disillusioned with human society.
“I don’t want to take it.” When he spoke, he was a little sad: “I’ll give you all these things, Huohuo.”
Longjia smiled: “Teacher Bo is so cruel. Usually he doesn’t even distinguish me from a box of paper towels. Now he’s giving away a gift to a man in front of me, isn’t he?”
Bo Jue’s energy to quarrel with him was overdrawn. Leaning against the edge of a box, he collapsed and said, “my assistant is on a business trip… How should I pack these?”
He usually saw what he liked and just bought them all. Four fifths of his things were in the dormitory with Longjia.
Longjia often went home, and occasionally came with some clothes to change. He didn’t need to worry about packing.
Huoren put down his bag and helped him. Turning around, he saw a long row of cat’s head mugs on the long cabinet.
“These are yours, too?”
Bo Jue nodded silently: “I have to move them all.”
“… is that stack of small round chicken ornaments yours?”
“… yes.”
Longjia stretched out his hand and rubbed Bo Jue’s head. He was in a good mood.
“I can finally move in with Huohuo. I don’t have to be your mother anymore.” He looked up and kissed Huoren, relieved as if he had been released from prison: “Bo Jue, your ability to take care of yourself really needs to be changed. Don’t wait for your assistant to be away. You don’t even know how to charge your mobile phone.”
Bo Jue went straight to the suitcase and buried his face in a pile of white bear dolls and sobbed.
“It’s not that I buy too many things, but that the dormitory is too small…”
When the dormitories were changed, it was already 4 p.m. It was snowing a little bit as if it were rice grains flying outside the window, and the room was very warm.
Even after a few months, Huoren’s luggage could still be packed in a school bag, but he had a pair of shoes and a few books now.
When he came to live in C311, he felt uneasy. On the one hand, he felt that Longjia was a good friend to get along with. The two had known each other for a long time, and he was a little worried that he slept too late, which caused him trouble.
Both Chi and Bo Jue went to bed before 11 o’clock. Sometimes he studied too late at night and it wasn’t good to turn on the light.
The two teenagers cleaned the inside and outside of the new dormitory and sat down to drink water and have a rest.
Longjia wanted to talk, but stopped, and finally opened his mouth: “Huohuo, do you have a mania for cleanliness?”
“No.”
“Do I have to take a bath if I want to come?”
“No…”
“Can I eat food in the dormitory?” And added. “Potato chips, nuts, biscuits.”
Huoren was puzzled: “Of course, what’s the problem?”
“I couldn’t do all this when I lived with Bo Jue!! He was even bothered to hear the sound of potato chips!!!” Longjia burst into tears this time: “The dormitory next door calls me Young Master Long all day. If I were a young master, he would be little princess Bo!! You know, uncle Jiang warned me when talking to me this time that I must start to adapt to the dormitory life and not be too independent,” he hit the table and said, “I really want to be here. Who wants to take a bus every morning and evening?!”
“If you are calm, I’m alright with you eating. I live just as I want and pay no attention.” Huoren subconsciously comforted: “It’s just that you usually sleep later.”
“How late do you sleep?” Longjia immediately grasped the key point: “I sleep at two or three o’clock every day. How about you?”
“Sometimes until half past twelve.”
“It’s not too late. It’s even healthy.” Longjia patted his shoulder and sat beside the bed, happily imagining a better life in the future: “If we really join Corona in the future, we can live and dance together.”
Huoren answered in a daze, and his eyes were still distinguishing the hollow logo of his platinum bracelet.
Suddenly, the dormitory door was knocked three times. The manager put his head in and threw two bags of things at them.
“These are the skin care products sent by the company. You’ll rot your face with generic brands. From tomorrow on, you will have a makeup class every Tuesday morning. I’ll send a text message later. Come on time-“
Huoren stayed still for a few seconds: “Do I have to learn makeup?”
“Yes, you have to go out with makeup every day after your debut.” Longjia raised his finger and obviously knew enough: “In case of an emergency, we still have to rely on ourselves to remedy it on the spot.”
Huoren thought that the second half of the year was really magical. Dancing and singing in the bar and study tasks included makeup and lipstick.
He fumbled to open the bag, turned out the bottles and cans inside, and was confused again.
“What’s in this jar… a mask?”
