Vocal lessons were divided into two groups as usual.

The teacher of the younger group was called to arrange the music for other artists, so the three of them temporarily followed Teacher Zhong’s class.

Now that it was summer, Huoren’s voice began to sound lower and Teacher Zhong strictly forbade him to sing.

Xiao Chi’s voice also started to hint that his voice would change soon. He sat quietly on the cold bench every day and didn’t say a single thing with a gloomy expression.

“How are you three practicing?” Zhong Fengyu played All That Jazz on a cabinet piano beside them and beckoned them to look at the score book next to him: “Sing carefully and remember your results.”

After two eight-beat rounds, Bo Jue was the first to take the lead.

His voice tone was gorgeous and bright, and his rhyme was languid and attractive.

“Come on baby, why don‘t we paint the town. And all that jazz.”

The sound of the piano swayed as if playing it drunk, and, also, the rising tone showed his experience. The high note rose smoothly in four or five beats, and it made people feel like they ears were being wiped with gold velvet. They just wanted to hear more.

“Start the car. I know a whoopee spot.Where the gin is cold. But the piano‘s hot.”

Longjia leaned against the piano and was the second to sing. His breath was steady, connecting every note correctly.

As he was a bass, he had a mellow and rich texture and, as if there was magnetism, the notes collided, adding resonance.

“Hold on hon we‘re gonna bunny hug.I bought some aspirin.Down at united drug.”

“——In case you shake apart. And want a brand new start.”

Jazz was easy to sing, and it makes people can’t help but sing along.

When Xie Lianyun was added in, they all took turns to show their high pitch and tone. Everyone even sang with high pitch and inflections that didn’t exist in the score just by coincidence, lifting the other one’s voice higher and higher.

Teacher Zhong coughed several times to make them lower. Later, he also played the piano faster and faster, so he almost followed the three of them to sing together.

Chiji sat next to him and was forced to shut up. His expression was very melancholy.

Huoren reached out and rubbed his hair: “It will be fine after this year.”

“I rehearsed with them in Cité de la musique,” he whined as he covered his face, “I also wanted to sing.”

Mei Shengyao looked at the music sheet in his hand with a long face: “Who wants to practice children’s songs?”

The songs had all been changed. Every day was either 《Little Basket On Back》 or 《The Lonely Goatherd》. They were being treated as little kids.

The three of them were so excited that they couldn’t help but look at the older ones with bitterness.

Chi Ji couldn’t help but hum at the sound of the piano, but Teacher Zhong shut him up and he silently held back.

Why haven’t we grown up yet? It’s annoying

They can feel the midsummer in the courtyard.

The company building was like a delicate glass cage, the central air conditioning was on all year round, and the green plants and flowers were also taken care of and replaced all the year round.

Chen Xiaoyan called Huoren several times and complained about the awful weather when the sports competition was about to begin. The whole class covered with the shade of trees to play with their cell phones. No one wanted to run two kilometers.

“Our new chemistry teacher’s make-up is so thick that her neck and face aren’t the same color at all,” sighed Chen, wondering, “How are you doing now, are you going to make your debut?”

Huoren was unsure. He would have to wait at least a year for his debut.

Even if all of them passed the exam at the end of this year, they had to make the album and performance, and it would be 2012 already.

“I see.” Chen Xiaoyan seriously said, “When you guys release the album, I’ll have to queue up to buy it! Jiayou!

Chen’s mother urged him: “You should be in your second year of high school. Did you finish the tutoring?

“I’ll go right now!”

Huoren hung up the phone and stayed for a while and walked into the yard to swing.

The sun didn’t reach that corner, but the air made people feel like soaking in a steamer, and beginning to sweat in less than half a minute.

Huoren looked up at the blue sky without clouds, and a few lotus flowers in the bronze altar on his side were opening.

A quick footsteps suddenly came from the living room.

It was followed by a bang of a door.

Huoren stopped swinging and saw Xie Lianyun and Longjia waving at him.

He walked quickly and met with them.

“Look what this is.” Longjia pulled out a popsicle like a pervert from under his clothes: “I sneaked this in!”

Chi Ji and Mei Shengyao took out several other ones: “I can’t believe that you actually brought six…”

“Good ice, it’s good ice.” Longjia sighed with relief, “I happened to meet the internal affairs when I got out of the elevator. Thanks to my good acting, I didn’t show my stuff.”

“It’s not good.” Xie Lianyun scoffed: “In the middle of your story, people thought you had a cold because you were trembling.”

“It’s frozen.” Longjia stuffed a popsicle into his hand. “I asked a friend to drive and help me get these. Eat, eat.”

They rarely went out on weekends as they were either dancing or singing, and they had to sing on the treadmill.

Xie Lianyun had a troubled face: “This…”

“Summer is about eating ice!” Mei Shengyao quickly said: “This is showing respect for summer!”

“Eat.” Bo Jue tore the packaging without thinking twice: “The stomach consumes calories while digesting ice so it’s well balanced.”

While they were talking, the door was knocked twice. “As everyone is here, I’ll come in and talk to you about something.”

It’s Uncle Jiang!

Bo Jue quickly stuffed the ice popsicle back into the wrapping paper and then into the sleeve of Longjia’s baseball uniform.

Xie Juanyun had just licked it and hurriedly stuffed the popsicle next to the cushion of the sofa armrest.

Huoren frowned twice and pulled out the tea table drawer to signal others to shove the forbidden goods in.

Chiji went to open the door after confirming that everyone else had already hidden his popsicle, and respectfully said, “Hello, Uncle Jiang.”

Uncle Jiang usually walked with his own murderous air. Today, it was even more intense, which made them feel even more panicked.

“Why did it take so long to open the door?” He asked.

“I’m practicing the piano, so we didn’t hear you.” Huoren used his eyes to signal Longjia to stand back.

“There’s something I want to tell you today.” As soon as Uncle Jiang sat on the sofa, he beckoned the six boys to stand in front of him, “Come closer, why are you all so far away?”

Longjia’s arm was numb from the cold, and he stood between Bo Jue and Huoren with his hands behind their backs.

The culprit was still holding back his laughter.

“I’m here this time to talk about the concert.”

“Concert?”

“Not yours, but Meiheng’s.”Uncle Jiang raised his eyebrows at Mei Shengyao “You must be the special guest at the first stop of the tour, which is in Shidu, and have to follow him to the stage”.

Mei Shengyao was surprised and said, “When is it?”

“Next Saturday. This is a great opportunity for all six of you to learn. You will feel the feeling of 100,000 people singing in a venue for the first time. You can discuss the song with your father. If you can’t, ask Mr. Zhong for advice in advance.” Uncle Jiang turned his head and looked at the others “You have also been invited to sit in the infield and watch your qianbei’s performance closely.”

Huoren hid Longjia’s cold arm without Jiang noticing, and thanked him politely.

“All of you haven’t been through the group screening yet,” said Jiang, who, as a cigarette addict, touched his cigarette pack and wanted to smoke. “If you can pass next year, you will be a special guest at another qianbei’s concert, also to warm up and familiarize yourself with the big stage.”

“Thank you, Uncle Jiang.” Everyone spoke in unison.

Uncle Jiang looked at the children and nodded with satisfaction, opening his mouth to continue analyzing their grades.

“Now, the best overall grade is Xiao Chi, and everyone else just focuses on some…”

The manager was always slow when he talked, and the time became exceptionally long.

Halfway through listening, everyone suddenly noticed that the sofa arm next to his hand was wet and their eyes showed fear.

“And in terms of rap, the number of people is not– why are your sleeves dripping?”

Longjia calmed down: “No, aren’t you mistaken?”

Uncle Jiang stood up and stretched out his arm as if he was a homeroom teacher checking for a cell phone.

Then, he touched the sweet sugar water.

It didn’t matter when he got up, his pants stained by the popsicle dripping from the foot of the sofa, and his ankles felt the ice: “Hiss— you guys?”

Longjia couldn’t hide it from him anymore so he said quickly, “I did this, Uncle Jiang! Punish me!”

The manager stretched out his head and grabbed his arm to pull out the popsicle that had melted more than half, and then reached out and smoked again.

Xie Lianyun handed over the paper next to him: “For your legs.”

Jiang was really angry: “My custom-made handmade suit! You little bastards! C’mon, C’mon, let’s go downstairs.”

“Another punishment…” Longjia rubbed his head and said, “It’s too hot outside, and I’ll be punished.”

“What punishment?” Jiang Shu reached out to him again: “Let’s go, I’ll drive you to eat smoothie, but only for this time, and only half for the three whose voice is changing!”

“Huh? ” Huoren thought he had heard it wrong.

“What do you mean with huh? Change your shoes quickly.” Uncle Jiang said, “Do you know how expensive this sofa is, come here with me every day!”

Xie Lianyun tried: “Are those three included?”

“No, but if you gain weight, you still have to get a penalty.”

“Uncle Jiang, you aren’t reasonable – who eats sweet food and is not fat?”

“Are you still saying that?!”

Jiang Shu’s car was a silver Cadillac.

Dark and cool, which was in line with his middle-aged man’s taste.

Everyone had gone out several times before to see musicals. This was the first time they had sat in his car.

SPF was next to a business district, high-end stores were concentrated in North Street and public stores were located in South Street.

Jiang Shu parked his car and took them to eat ice continuously. Something flashed outside the door when he swiped his card.

Huoren unconsciously looked sideways and Uncle held down his head.

“You still look at the camera when paparazzis shoot you?”

“A paparazzi right now…?” Chiji whispered, “We’re still trainees.”

“You are the trainees I brought,” Jiang Shu glanced at Mei Shengyao, who wore a black mask: “Not to mention that there are people who want to follow him for 24 hours.”

Mei Shengyao shrugged his shoulders and let them help to hide.

There weren’t many customers upstairs and downstairs who knew these special characters in the entertainment industry. The atmosphere while they were eating sweets was still very happy.

Huoren and Bo Jue ordered half of the chocolate flavor. Mei Shengyao took over half of the melon flavor and continuously ate ice as his vocal change period hadn’t begun.

Everyone ate and chatted, laughing and joking with each other.

Uncle Jiang was the only one next to them wiping his pants with a distressed face. “My suit, tsk tsk.”

Xie Lianyun comforted him: “It’s nothing important, just order another one.”

“It’s been three years since I got this done by a tailor in Italy.” Uncle Jiang impatiently said, “What nonsense.”

“Don’t be angry. I know someone. I can cut you in line.”

Uncle Jiang was still smelling the ice popsicle on the wool with his legs crossed: “Really?”

“By the way, I also discussed it with Pei Ruye” The agent came up with something and put down his pants legs again: “All six of you need to pass with B the dance test before the stage at Qingxi Road at the same time.”

In recent months, Huoren had been dancing at the end of the line every night. He was always on the edge, and tried to get a rough idea.

Xie Lianyun just scraped the red beans at the bottom of the glass and laid down next to him with a sullen expression: “Archiving a B…”

He barely made it to C, and he would have to practice on the weekends again.

“The news of your group has already gone out; don’t disgrace the crown.” Uncle Jiang said with a poker face, “Can I ask you to give me at least a little confidence if I know you two compose music?”

“Yes.” In a firm tone, Bo Jue held Xie Lianyun’s shoulder and said, “Before autumn.”

Xie Lianyun reached out for his glasses: …!
