Huoren’s hand was placed on his face unconsciously, and Bo Jue moved to Long Jia’s side.

“Okay, come down.” Aya clapped her hands and continued the lesson, “About the performance you must do on stage, it must be expressive.”

“Teacher-” one of the boys interrupted, “you are so pretty, that even without dancing, we are all blushing.”

Aya glanced at them. “In Corona, all six of their members are going to dance and sing love songs at the same time. If you don’t use your time to practice, you’ll end crying.”

Huoren returned to his place and continued listening to the lecture. He suddenly realized that the boy with silver glasses was sitting right next to him.

He looked down and saw that he was playing the snake game, dodging as fast as he could.

The PSP screen simulated a 3D interface, and the colorful snake switched to eat the fruit.

Huoren thought that his roommate wouldn’t listen to the lecture and continued taking notes.

In August, he considered the elective course carefully, and he was still going to choose introduction to English and music, but because the teachers said they could stop by and listen to the classes, he went through the other classrooms after practicing piano.

The rap class was very noisy and the teacher said there would be a freestyle section. Some students did the accompaniment passionately with beat-box.

The entire music composition course had to play the electronic keyboard. The professor was one of the songwriters in the company who taught the creative process of creating a pop song.

After 《Czerny Op.599》 by 《Bayer》, Huoren began to learn under Bo Jue’s instruction the advanced 《Czerny Op.849》, having thin callus on his fingertips, but it didn’t hurt much when he pressed the keys.

He knew that when he joined the group he would have more free time in class. He practiced the piano with all his heart and was familiar with the movements of the fingers. From time to time, he would teach classes to try to play and sing, and gradually he had fun.

The fun of playing the piano lies in the beginning.

Before you know the score, you have no way of playing it. It’s as if the notes were pressed with a sewing machine.

But after playing the entire piece of music smoothly, people will follow along the beat, and unconsciously sway from side to side.

Huoren gradually let go of his shame and began to learn to sing songs one after another, and he repeated them over and over again when he got the syllables wrong. When he understood it, he repeated it over and over again. He couldn’t help laughing as he sang.

He practiced for several hours. When he took a break for water, he found the teacher and former music organizer, teacher Mi, standing at the door.

“Look at you, you’ve been practicing for two months and you’re pretty fast.”

Teacher Mi sat down and went over again without looking at what he had just played: “The pause in this section is wrong. It was made for a duet.”

As soon as Huoren finished drinking water, he went back to singing to the beat and began to follow his own beat.

“Remember also the inflection point and the tone”, teacher Mi said, took a pyramidal metronome and showed it to him: “You like to play the piano, why don’t you come to my singing class?”

Huoren sincerely said: “I am afraid that my score won’t be enough and I will get eliminated.”

“I see.” He tapped his chin: “I’m very strict about scoring. It was smart of you not picking me then. One more time,” he said, playing a musical variation, wanting Huoren to sing: “since I’ll never judge you again.'”

Huoren started, watching his fingers move when he played.

The teacher entered the piano room and gave him half an hour of lessons. He didn’t only do it to teach him to play, but he also led him to learn how to cut the song and finish it.

For teacher Mi, when he taught, he started with a price of 1000 yuan an hour, but he didn’t ask for anything. He couldn’t be like that in front of his student.

When all the lessons were over, he hit the keys and asked him, “I heard you can cry when you sing the Heavenly King song. Is that true?”

“How do you know?” Huoren said without understanding.

“There are a lot of gossips among teachers” Mi smiled. “I actually saw you in the newspaper! I’ve seen your photo. You’re the one this year, right? It’s a secret, I know. I won’t tell anyone,” he said quietly as he got up. “Little one, good luck trying to get closer to the celebrities.”

“Wait a minute-” Huoren unconsciously grabbed his wrist, then quickly released it, “Teacher Mi, what did you say?

“Didn’t you come here to participate in the evaluation by Meiheng?” Mi-ge was surprised: “What else?”

What did Meiheng have to do with all this?

Huoren didn’t ask, but the surprise on his face had exposed his inner thoughts.

“It isn’t like that?” Mi-ge was also stunned, then he switched hands and clapped him on the shoulder: “Ask your friends, they must know.”

“I’m going to be late for a class, see you later, little champion…”

Huoren sat in the piano room for a few seconds, wondering where to go.

He didn’t think Longjia knew about it, but his roommate did.

He wondered for a moment, then returned to the bedroom holding the piano sheet music.

His roommate was lying on the bed reading a manhua, and when he saw him coming, he greeted him: “Did you go to dance practice?”

“No, I was practicing piano.” Huoren glanced aside at the silver-rimmed glasses guy, noting that he was still playing the PSP. He sat across from his roommate, hesitated for a moment and said, “Did you said…”

“Hmm? What?”

“Did you say I came here for meeting the celebrities?”

“Eh, isn’t that the reason though?” His roommate sat up straight, looked at him and said in surprise, “Didn’t you know?”

“What?”

He looked at the one with the silver-rimmed glasses and then at his bunk, quickly closed the bedroom door and said in a low voice: “I will tell you this secret, do not tell the others.”

Huoren pointed his finger at both the bunk and the boy there silently.

“He’s fine, he doesn’t matter.” The boy shook his head, probably familiar with that boy: “You know, CORONA is the group we want to join. It seems like there are six positions, right?”

Huoren got the point: “And?”

“In fact, there is a position already fixed and many people know it.”

“Fixed? He has connections?”

His roommate showed an excited smile: “You have sung the song of the God Mei and you don’t know it. The son of God Mei, Mei Shengyao, will debut in our SPF company on the 12th of this year.”

“This whole super good lineup, as well as these famous resources and teachers, are paving the way for him.”

Huoren’s mind was blank, and he unconsciously repeated, “Is there an established position already?”

The chances of climbing for him had been reduced by 16%.

“Damn, think of Mei Shengyao, his mother is like a goddess, his father is a superstar, he is favored by heaven.” His roommate said with growing excitement, and he couldn’t help but stomp on the spot: “The whole entertainment industry was cheering and celebrating his birth. He grew up with a diamond spoon in his mouth!”

Huoren was still in a daze and didn’t respond for a while.

“Although many people know this secret, don’t talk about it.” The older one took the card for lunch and said: “Even if this is topic people talk about in the forums, it will be safer not to say anything, right? I’m leaving, remember to have dinner too!”

He opened the lock and came out humming a song, leaving Huoren sitting in his place.

The pressure began to build higher and higher.

Huoren found his card for lunch, and when he turned around, he looked at the guy with silver-rimmed glasses and saw that he still had the PSP in his hand.

He unconsciously told him good night.

The boy just continued to play facing the wall.

He was lying down, so he sat for a while.

“Aren’t you nervous?”

The boy with the silver-rimmed glasses stopped for a while, looked at him and said, “Are you talking to me?”

The boy’s voice was cold and deep, and in a way that makes people remember it.

“Yes,” Huoren calmed down for a moment and said in a low voice, “There are only five places.”

“No”, the boy pressed the pause button, continued to move the snake to turn around and bit an apple: “You can only qualify for one place.”

Huoren’s first reaction was that this person was definitely not easy to deal with.

It’s not that he’s lying, but his attitude towards this is like he doesn’t care.

It wasn’t out of confidence, or because he didn’t plan on debuting here at all, since if he didn’t want to debut, why bother with the evaluation rounds that he did?

“You want to know?” He said lightly, “Say please and I’ll tell you.”

He didn’t need dignity right now.

Huoren lowered his head and said seriously, “Please, thank you.”

“Corona, which SPF has given all its resources to in the last ten years, a group that luxury brands and television stations are already chasing and talking about.” The boy pushed down his glasses: “The main member is, of course, Mei Shengyao, the son of the Queen of Heaven, with deep talent and experience. Alongside Mei Shengyao, there are already other assigned seats. The piano genius counts as one, and the first of the four rounds of selection exams also counts as one. They are very good at singing and dancing, and their qualifications are unmatched. The probability that Long Jia is the person with the highest understanding ability among all, not to mention the complete score he received in RAP, can make up for a deficiency in the combination.

“There is another one who sings a musical in the West End of London. He looks good and dances perfectly. It’s estimated that he will return next month.”

Huoren squeezed the bedpost, hurting himself hands.

He originally thought he was hopeful if he was in the top five, but he didn’t expect the competition to be so fierce.

There were only six places in total and there were already four by default.

“Then there are two left.” When Huoren spoke again, his voice was a bit dry: “You only said four.”

“Yes.” He raised his head, still holding the game console in his left hand, and lowered his glasses with his right hand.

He spoke coldly and with a calm expression.

“The other one is me.”
