Chapter 132: The Prince Arrives

All three of them were taken aback.

Why did he come so fast?

According to their expectations, the prince’s car should have to wait another two days to arrive!

County magistrate asked, “You can see clearly, is it really the prince’s car driving?”

The magistrate wiped the sweat from his head and panted: “With so many people, the team has dragged on for a long time, scaring the victims gathered outside the city gate and fleeing. Some people came forward and called the door, saying that His Royal Highness is here, let’s hurry out of the city to pick up the driver.”

Jin Dianshi patted his thigh: “Then what are you waiting for? Hurry up and open the city gate to pick up the driver!”

The three of them did not dare to delay, leaving a small number of people to continue to stay here, while the others hurried to meet the prince’s car.

The city gate of Gangu County slowly opened.

The county magistrate took a deep breath, and strode out with a group of officials and fast-catching officials, knelt down and kowtowed, chanting Prince Chitose!

Zhao Xian, dressed in military uniform, rode forward on a horse and looked at them condescendingly.

“Why did it take so long to open the city gate?”

The county magistrate hurriedly said: “Something happened in the city. The delay in opening the city gate was due to the incompetence of the subordinate officials. I hope the general will forgive me.”

Zhao Xian’s eyes swept over them one by one, frowned and asked, “Why don’t you see Magistrate Yang?”

The county magistrate stammered and couldn’t answer.

The others also lowered their heads, not daring to say a word.

Zhao Xian noticed that something was wrong, and asked in a deep voice, “What the hell is going on?” Quickly recruit truthfully!”

The county magistrate was so frightened that he shivered, knowing that the matter could not be concealed, he could only tell the truth.

“Back to the general, Magistrate Yang was held hostage by a bad man!”

Zhao Xian’s expression became more stern: “Who dares to hold the court’s order officer hostage?”

“It was a group of outsiders. Relying on their high martial arts skills, they deliberately injured the officials and captured them, and kidnapped County Magistrate Yang. They were simply courageous, and they deserved to die! However, we have limited manpower and taking into account the safety of County Magistrate Yang, we dare not go head-to-head with them. We implore the general to help us rescue County Magistrate Yang.”

After speaking, County magistrate kowtowed to Zhao Xian and kept his posture very low.

When other officials saw this, they all kowtowed and begged Zhao Xian one after another.

Zhao Xian said solemnly: “Let us enter the city first, and after we have settled His Royal Highness, I will go with you to catch the kidnappers.”

The county chief and others were overjoyed: “Thank you, General!”

More than two thousand people drove slowly into the city, and the scene was quite spectacular.

The people in the city walked out of their homes one after another, standing on both sides of the street to watch the scene.

Many people stretched their necks to see the prince’s car driving. They wanted to know what the legendary Royal Highness looked like? Is it really as unattainable as the rumours say?

However, the prince’s car was closed all around, and even the windows were tightly covered, so people outside couldn’t see what was going on inside the car.

No matter how long the people stretched their necks, they would not be able to see the appearance of the prince.

The Prince’s Palace is almost finished, but it’s still a long way from being officially completed.

According to the plan of County Magistrate Yang and others, it is planned to use the last few days to pack up the palace and wait for the prince to arrive to check in smoothly.

Who knew that there was a change halfway through, not only was Magistrate Yang kidnapped, but the prince’s car arrived here before two days in advance.

It is definitely impossible to live in a palace that has not been built.

The county magistrate hurriedly asked someone to vacate the county government office for the prince to live.

Zhao Xian said, “Don’t be busy, His Royal Highness doesn’t live in the county government office, so take us to the inn.”

County Chief was anxious: “Our inn here is very dilapidated, how can His Royal Highness live in that kind of place?”

Zhao Xian asked coldly: “This is what Your Highness means, do you have an opinion?”

County Chief didn’t dare to say anything for a while, and took them to the station bitterly.
