Luo Qinghan had just come out of the council hall when he heard someone calling him from behind.

"Luo Qinghan, you stop right there!"

Luo Qinghan stopped and turned around.

He saw the Fourth Prince, Luo Xiran, quickly catching up and swinging his fist to strike Luo Qinghan's face with great force!

Everyone present gasped in shock.

Eunuch Chang exclaimed, "Your Highness, be careful!"

Just as he was about to rush forward to protect the Crown Prince, Zhao Xian had already flashed in front of the Crown Prince and took the punch from the Fourth Prince with his body.

Seeing that his punch didn't hit the Crown Prince, Luo Xiran was furious and roared, "Zhao Xian, get the hell out of the way! This is none of your business!"

Zhao Xian didn't move.

Luo Xiran glared at Luo Qinghan with bloodshot eyes, his gaze filled with hatred.

"Whether or not Consort Ning was involved in the poisoning has nothing to do with my mother. My mother is innocent. Why did you report her to Empress Qin? If you have a problem with me, you should come at me, not my mother!"

He only found out about Consort Ning's flogging last night.

Seeing her lying on the bed, barely alive, Luo Xiran was both heartbroken and furious. He did everything he could to find out the truth.

He knew that Empress Qin had ordered the flogging of Consort Ning, but the reason Empress Qin took action was because the Crown Prince provided evidence that Consort Ning was involved in the poisoning. That's why Empress Qin targeted Consort Ning.

Luo Qinghan looked at him coldly. "Whether Consort Ning is innocent or not, she should be the one to answer that. I just did what I had to do. If you're not convinced, you can investigate it yourself. If you can find evidence to prove her innocence, I will publicly apologize to you and Consort Ning."

Luo Xiran, blinded by anger, couldn't hear a word of it.

He growled fiercely, "I don't care about any evidence. I only know that Consort Ning is my mother, and you made her suffer the flogging. You are my enemy! Luo Qinghan, I will never forgive you. From now on, there can only be one of us!"

With that, he turned and walked away, his body radiating anger.

The other princes gradually came out of the council hall.

They had all witnessed the argument between the Crown Prince and the Fourth Prince.

Though they didn't say anything on the surface, they exchanged glances privately, as if they were enjoying the show.

The First Prince, Luo Yechen, walked by and remarked sarcastically.

The Second Prince, Luo Yunxuan, was the most gentle among all the princes.

He tried to calm the First Prince.

"Brother, don't say that. We are all brothers. There are ministers watching. Don't let others laugh at us and make Father angry."

Luo Yechen snorted, "The ones being laughed at are the Crown Prince and the Fourth Prince. What does it have to do with me?"

Luo Yunxuan shook his head, as if he couldn't do anything about it.

Luo Qinghan glanced at them expressionlessly and turned to leave.

Eunuch Chang and Zhao Xian quickly followed.

Back at the Eastern Palace, Luo Qinghan's frustration still hadn't dissipated.
