Chapter 029: What Was Bound to Come, Has Come

In the last class of the afternoon, which was self-study, Zhong Pinliang stood up and walked to Lin Yi's side, tapping his desk twice with his finger.

"What's up?" Lin Yi looked up and asked indifferently, a hint of impatience in his eyes.

"Hey, buddy, what did you do to offend this big shot?" Kang Xiaobo whispered to Lin Yi. "He's not someone to mess with! Is there some misunderstanding here?"

Lin Yi smiled bitterly. What misunderstanding? Why would I have any grudge with him? It's all because of Chu Mengyao. If it weren't for her, would I have kicked Zhong Pinliang's ass yesterday? But he couldn't tell Kang Xiaobo that.

"Forget it, let them do what they want. Don't worry, I'm not that easy to bully." Lin Yi patted Kang Xiaobo's shoulder, reassuring him.
