Chapter 032: A Self-Inflicted Blow

"Huh?" Lin Yi was slightly taken aback, raising his head to look towards the rooftop entrance. He saw two graceful figures gradually walking away. Who else could they be but Chu Mengyao and Chen Yushu?

Lin Yi didn't think that Chu Mengyao and Chen Yushu had any secret crush on him. He could guess that the two had probably come because Chen Yushu, the little troublemaker, had dragged Chu Mengyao along.

"Just here for the show," Lin Yi said indifferently.

"How can I feel like it's Chu Mengyao and Chen Yushu from our class?" Kang Xiaobo was somewhat excited. "Boss, could it be that you've won the favor of these two beauties?"

"You're thinking too much." Lin Yi helplessly patted Kang Xiaobo's back of the head. "If I had known you were so talkative, I should have let Zhang Naipao hit you on the head to clear your mind."

"Hehe..." Kang Xiaobo laughed heartily. He had been a wimp for three years of high school, but he never thought that just before graduation, he would finally have a moment of glory. Looking at the three former school bullies lying on the ground behind him, Kang Xiaobo felt an indescribable sense of satisfaction.

"Brother Liang, are you okay?" Gao Xiaofu, who was less injured, had his stomach pain subsiding. After Lin Yi left, he quickly ran to Zhong Pinliang's side and helped him up from the ground.

"Boss, let me tell you a secret..." As they walked out of the classroom, Kang Xiaobo suddenly lowered his voice and whispered.

"What secret?" Lin Yi looked at Kang Xiaobo, puzzled. What was he being so mysterious about?

"I live very close to the commoner's school beauty, Tang Yun..." Kang Xiaobo grinned lecherously. "Actually, I often see her riding her bike home!"

"Damn!" Lin Yi slapped Kang Xiaobo's back of the head. "What are you thinking about? What kind of secret is that? Just because she lives close to you, what does it have to do with me?"

"Are you really not interested in her?" Kang Xiaobo asked, disbelieving.

"It's not that I'm not interested, but I've never even seen what she looks like! How can I be interested in someone I don't know?" Lin Yi said with a laugh. "Alright, go back now, I'm leaving too!"

"Okay, Boss, see you tomorrow!" Kang Xiaobo waved to Lin Yi and disappeared in the crowd of students leaving school...
