In the parking lot, there were no shortage of luxury cars, from Mercedes-Benz and BMWs to top-of-the-line sedans, all of which seemed to be privately owned, with some flashy decorations on them, indicating that they were bought by the group's employees themselves. This indirectly suggested how high the salaries of the employees at Pengzhan Group were. In this light, his own salary of 30,000 yuan didn't seem so high after all.

Under the guidance of Uncle Fu, Lin Yi came to a deep blue Bentley Azure 728. The car was a 2006 model and was very well-maintained, looking almost brand new, whether it was recently purchased or well-cared for.

"Mr. Lin, please get in the car." Uncle Fu opened the passenger door and gestured for him to enter.

"Should I sit in the passenger seat? Then what about Miss...?" Lin Yi hesitated and asked.

"Miss always sits in the back," Uncle Fu explained. "She has a backpack, so sitting in the front is inconvenient."

Lin Yi nodded and got into the car. Uncle Fu drove it slowly out of the underground parking lot. As they passed the security post at the exit, several security guards immediately stood at attention, watching the car leave with solemn expressions.

Uncle Fu's driving skills were very proficient, but it was clear that he drove in a conventional manner, different from the style Lin Yi had learned. Lin Yi's training was more inclined towards racing, as his father often said, "It's not your fault if you can't win, but if you can't run away, you deserve to be unlucky."

Therefore, Lin Yi had learned many escape techniques, although he had only used them against his father. In front of others, it was always the others who ran.

"Mr. Lin, can you drive?" Uncle Fu asked, glancing at Lin Yi, who was sitting quietly beside him, while waiting for the traffic light.

Uncle Fu was an experienced driver and could judge whether someone could drive from subtle details. Since Lin Yi showed no particular reaction, Uncle Fu asked.

"A little," Lin Yi thought, as a newcomer, it was better to be modest.

"Do you have a driver's license?" Uncle Fu didn't ask to what extent "a little" meant, knowing the boss's trust in this person.

"Not yet," Lin Yi shook his head. Although he could drive and had even raced abroad, he didn't have a license: "I just turned 18, and I haven't had time to get one."

"Alright, give me your ID, and I'll help you get a driver's license. This way, if Mr. Chu and I have something urgent, you can drive Miss to and from school," Uncle Fu said.

The car stopped near a school that looked very luxurious but didn't go any further, probably because the car was too eye-catching and might affect the other students.

From the information, Lin Yi already knew that Songshan No. 1 High School, although a private school, was not the typical aristocratic school. It was a provincial key high school that admitted students through exams from across the province. While some children of the elite and wealthy entered through connections, most students were admitted based on their own abilities.

With the support of three major groups, Songshan No. 1 High School excelled in both facilities and faculty, which was why it had a 100% college admission rate for years.

Lin Yi understood that this 100% rate was likely inflated, as some spoiled rich kids were incapable of studying but still managed to get into college through their family's influence.

The familiar school bell rang, making Lin Yi a bit lost in thought. How many years had it been since he last heard this sound? However, after a brief moment, he regained his composure and calmly watched the school's playground.

Soon, students began to come out of the teaching building, some in school uniforms and others in casual clothes. Generally, the school didn't have strict dress code requirements unless there was a major event.

"That's Miss," Uncle Fu suddenly raised his hand and pointed to a girl among a group of students.

Lin Yi followed Uncle Fu's finger and saw a tall and very beautiful girl. Although there were other girls around her, Lin Yi knew at first glance that this must be the young miss.

The old man had mentioned that Chu Mengyao was the school's beauty queen. The beauty queen should be the prettiest one, unless Lin Yi's sense of beauty was off.

While the other girl beside her was also very beautiful, she was shorter, which didn't match the height in the information. However, she was also a strong candidate for the beauty queen, and when she grew up, she would definitely be a national beauty.

Chu Mengyao and the other girl were walking quickly towards the car, but a few boys who looked like rich kids were chasing after them.

"Chu Mengyao, wait..." One of the boys blocked Chu Mengyao's path: "Chu Mengyao, I'm sincere with you, just give me a chance!"

Chu Mengyao frowned and looked at the boy impatiently: "Zhong Pinliang, are you annoying? I've already told you, I don't like you, so stop bothering me."

"But..." Zhong Pinliang tried to say more but was pushed aside by Chu Mengyao.

Chu Mengyao quickly walked over, opened the car door, and got in. The other girl also got in, which surprised Lin Yi a bit.

"Zhong Pinliang is so annoying, he pesters me every day. Doesn't he get tired?" Chu Mengyao complained as she got in the car. Suddenly, she looked up and saw Lin Yi in the passenger seat, and asked in surprise: "Who are you?"

"Hello, my name is Lin Yi." Lin Yi tried to look as cute as possible. This young miss seemed to have a bad temper.

"Lin Yi? Uncle Fu, what does he do?" Chu Mengyao looked at Lin Yi, puzzled.

"Miss Chu, this is the study companion Mr. Chu arranged for you..." Uncle Fu introduced.

"Study companion? Who needs a study companion? I said I wanted a shield, right? Look at him, who can he shield me from?" Chu Mengyao was immediately upset, looking Lin Yi up and down. What was he wearing? A tank top and ragged pants, looking like a migrant worker. Even migrant workers didn't look as rough as him. Did he think he was performing a duet?

Uncle Fu was drenched in sweat, wiping his forehead and looking at Lin Yi helplessly. Seeing that Lin Yi didn't react, he sighed in relief. As Chu Pengzhan's closest confidant, he knew how much effort it took to get Lin Yi, even involving the old man in the family.
