Chapter 074: The Man in the Bathroom

After leaving the hospital, Lin Yi originally wanted to buy some traditional Chinese medicine at a pharmacy near the hospital. "Mr. Lin, Mr. Chu just called and said that if you have time, he asked me to take you to see him," Fu Bo said as they got into the car.

"Oh? Uncle Chu is looking for me? Then take me to visit Uncle Chu. As you know, Fu Bo, I don't have much to do besides going to school," Lin Yi said, not knowing what Chu Pengzhan wanted from him. Perhaps there was some news about the bank robbery, or it might be related to the conflict with Black Panther at school yesterday.

"Alright, I'll contact Mr. Chu right away," Fu Bo said, taking out his phone and dialing Chu Pengzhan's number. He informed Chu Pengzhan that they were on their way.

The security guard at the underground parking lot of the Pengzhan Group recognized Fu Bo's Bentley and opened the barrier before the car even approached. Lin Yi didn't comment on the guard's sycophantic behavior.

Fu Bo's car was quite expensive, and finding an identical one with the same license plate to sneak in would be quite a challenge. However, the robbers from the bank robbery were clearly not ordinary people and likely had others backing them.

They took the elevator to Chu Pengzhan's office. Fu Bo knocked on the door and peeked inside. As Chu Pengzhan's closest confidant, he could freely enter and exit the office, even if there were others inside.

Lin Yi quickly walked towards the bathroom. As he approached the door, he heard a man inside speaking in a low voice, apparently on the phone.

Lin Yi stood calmly in front of the sink in the outer compartment of the bathroom, listening to the man's conversation.

"If you can't even handle this, how can I trust you to work with me? It's not a big deal; just keep Chu Mengyao under control for a few hours. When you talk to Chu Pengzhan about the contract, just hint that Chu Mengyao's situation is related to you. I'm sure the contract will be signed! Hearing Lin Yi's voice grow fainter, the man knew Lin Yi had left and resumed his conversation, but this time more cautiously, speaking in a lower voice...
