After the police finished taking his statement, Mo Zhitao thought he could leave. He walked out and asked, "Comrade police officer, can I go now?"

"What do you mean by 'go'? We haven't told you to go. Why are you leaving?" the police officer said sternly.

"Go back inside and sit down. Now, Ma Lian is saying that you had a grudge against him in the past, and you retaliated. You were the first to hit them, and they acted in self-defense. They are going to press charges against you."

"What?" Mo Zhitao's eyes widened. "They are framing me. It was clearly they who started it first. You can ask the security guards if you don't believe me."

The police officer replied, "We will check. Our police always handle cases fairly. The truth will come out. You stay here for now."

Mo Zhitao didn't realize that the situation had changed because of Luo Dakan. About half an hour later, two police officers came over and said, "Mo Zhitao, you are suspected of injuring people. Several people's feet are now disabled. We need to arrest you."

"What?" Mo Zhitao jumped up. "Police, are you making a mistake? You can check the surveillance at the Night Drunk Bar. They were the first to hit me with iron pipes, and I only defended myself. Besides, I am a doctor. Their feet are just dislocated. How could they be disabled?"

Mo Zhitao didn't know that someone had tampered with the evidence. When the thugs were just being taken off the car, someone "accidentally" bumped into their feet, and they "accidentally" fell, causing their feet to deform severely. The orthopedic doctor said there was no way to restore them to their original state.

"You are a doctor, which means you know how to disable people," the police officer sneered.

"We went to the surveillance room at the Night Drunk Bar. The surveillance camera at the entrance just happened to be broken, so it didn't record anything. The security guards also said it was dark, and they couldn't see who started the fight. Ma Lian is in the intensive care unit, and he is seriously injured. We don't know if he will survive." All of this was orchestrated by the chief, and the police followed his instructions.

Mo Zhitao didn't expect the police station to be involved. "If you don't believe me, you can investigate. I'm not afraid."

Since the incident had happened, Mo Zhitao didn't think about leaving. The situation was clear. Ma Lian and his gang were thugs, and he believed the police would find the truth.

The police left, and the chief received a call from Lei Yuanfeng. Lei Yuanfeng said that Young Master Luo was very satisfied and would come to Macheng District to treat everyone to a meal. The chief was excited. Young Master Luo was well-connected with the city leaders. If he spoke to the city leaders, Lei Yuanfeng would get a promotion, and he could become a deputy director.

So, the chief called the police officers over, "You two, go in and beat Mo Zhitao up. Remember, use rubber batons, and don't leave any marks on him." The chief instructed.

"Chief, it's fine. He was fighting with Ma Lian, so any injuries are from Ma Lian, not us," the police officer said with a sinister smile.

They often did this and knew how to protect themselves.

"Good. I'll have someone talk to Ma Lian. He knows what to do," the chief said.

Another police officer entered the detention room. Mo Zhitao looked up and asked, "Comrade police officer, how is the investigation going?"

"You're coming with us now." As soon as the police officer finished speaking, they suddenly handcuffed Mo Zhitao. During the investigation, they found that Mo Zhitao had fought against over ten people, and he was very skilled, so they decided to handcuff him before beating him.

"Damn, you dare to assault the police. We'll kill you," the police officer said with a sinister smile as he closed the door.

"Do you want to frame me?" Mo Zhitao wasn't a fool. He saw through the police's intentions.

"Are you in cahoots with those thugs?" Mo Zhitao thought Ma Lian had bribed the police.

"Hehehe, you're just a small doctor. What can we do if we want to frame you?" the police officer said, then took out his baton and approached Mo Zhitao.

The two police officers started beating Mo Zhitao. Since his hands were cuffed, he could only crouch down and protect his head.

"Damn, I'll show you the consequences of assaulting the police." The police officer started hitting Mo Zhitao.

Mo Zhitao didn't make a sound. He knew the police were trying to frame him, and he couldn't do anything about it. This was their territory, and if they said he hit the police, it would be true, and his protests would be useless. He just hoped his strong body could withstand the beating. After about five minutes, Mo Zhitao fell to the ground, motionless.

The police quickly stopped and said, "Brother, stop. If we kill him, we'll be in trouble."

They had been beating Mo Zhitao for five minutes and might have killed him.

"Is he really not breathing?" the other police officer was worried. If they killed Mo Zhitao, they would be in big trouble. They quickly went to check if he was dead.

Suddenly, Mo Zhitao jumped up and kicked the police officer on the left. The kick was full of anger and very powerful. The police officer was kicked away, and the other police officer, who was about to hit Mo Zhitao, was also pushed down by Mo Zhitao. Then Mo Zhitao started kicking the police officers.

"Ah, don't kick me anymore. We won't beat you. We were wrong," the police officer said in fear.

They felt their ribs might be broken, and if Mo Zhitao continued, they might be kicked to death.

"Unlock my handcuffs, or I'll kick you to death," Mo Zhitao said angrily.

"Yes, yes, I'll unlock them now," the police officer said in fear. After they left, Mo Zhitao would be charged with assaulting the police. However, they were puzzled why Mo Zhitao, after being beaten for so long, was unharmed.

After the handcuffs were removed, Mo Zhitao immediately took out a steel needle and poked the two police officers a few times.

"What are you doing?" the police officer asked in confusion.

"Hehehe, I'm poking some acupoints on your body. In 30 seconds, you'll start feeling intense pain, and it will eventually kill you," Mo Zhitao said coldly. "And the forensic doctor won't be able to find the cause."

"Don't fool us. Let us go, or you'll face legal consequences," the police officer said dismissively.

They had been in there for a long time. If they didn't leave soon, the chief might send more people. They regretted not cuffing Mo Zhitao's feet as well.

However, after a while, the two police officers started feeling pain. They were screaming on the ground, but the door to the detention room was closed, so no one outside could hear them.

"Let us go. We won't do it again," the police officer said in fear.

"Why did you beat me?" Mo Zhitao asked.

He thought the police officers were in cahoots with Ma Lian and wanted to get evidence. Mo Zhitao started recording.

"It's not our fault. The chief ordered us to do it," the police officer said with a bitter face.

"Call the chief over," Mo Zhitao stood up and stretched. Although he had been beaten for a long time, he still felt some pain in his muscles.

The police officer happily said, "Okay, I'll call the chief over."

Mo Zhitao poked a few more acupoints on the police officers, "I'll relieve your pain, but you now have a disease. You'll have to go to the bathroom every half hour until you die. No medicine will help."

Mo Zhitao poked the police officers' excretory points. Unless they sewed their buttocks shut, they would lose control.

Soon, the chief received the call and said it was done.

He happily walked into the detention room and found Mo Zhitao sitting in a chair, looking at him. He realized something was wrong. Mo Zhitao should have been knocked out by his subordinates. How could he be sitting there and smiling at him? The chief was about to draw his gun, but Mo Zhitao had already acted. He pinned the chief to the ground and poked his excretory points with a needle.

"Chief, why did you want to harm me?" Mo Zhitao asked.

The police officer had said the chief ordered them to do it, and Mo Zhitao wanted to know the details from the chief.

"I don't know what you're talking about. You dare to assault the police?" the chief glared at Mo Zhitao.

Mo Zhitao smiled, "Chief, you have a serious illness. You will die soon. Only I can save you. If you don't want to die, you'd better listen to me."

Mo Zhitao explained the illness to the chief.

"Don't fool me. You assaulted our police officers. You're dead," the chief said angrily.

"I can't help it if you don't believe me. You can leave. In half an hour, you'll know what's happening," Mo Zhitao waved his hand, ignoring the chief and the police officers.

The police officers quickly left with the chief. The chief angrily said, "No, I have to arrest him. He dared to hit us."

"Chief, Mo Zhitao is strange. We should wait. We beat him, but he was unharmed and even overpowered us," the police officer said, a bit scared.

"Don't spread rumors. How could he be that strong?" The chief didn't believe it. He drew his gun and called other police officers to rush in. They quickly controlled Mo Zhitao and handcuffed his hands and feet.

"Damn, you were so strong just now. Now, I'll beat you to death," the chief said angrily, holding a baton.

He had been a police officer for a long time and had never been beaten. With Young Master Luo's support, he wasn't afraid of Mo Zhitao. He had checked Mo Zhitao's background and found nothing. No one would care if a small person like him died.

Mo Zhitao looked at the chief coldly and said, "Chief, I already told you. If you really want to die, I won't stop you. Go ahead, but don't regret it later."
