Little…sister?

Zijin wiped the corners of his eyes with his sleeves and said with a puffed mouth, “I am a boy.”

“Haha, it’s all right, wait a few years, you’ll become more feminine. Don’t deny your gender just because of a body defect.” Ye Xing patted him on the shoulder and continued to comfort him.

Zijin mustered up the courage to emphasize again, “I’m really a boy.”

Ye Xing looked him up and down again, except for the chest being too flat, the snow-white thighs and popular air bangs hairstyle irrefutably proved his gender.

“Then why do you have the special clothes and hairstyle for female disciples of the sect?” Ye Xing asked curiously.

“Because, because when I joined, they thought I was a girl, so they gave me women’s clothing, but they didn’t change it later…”

Zijin’s face got redder as he spoke, and his shy appearance was even more attractive than that of an infatuated young girl. In terms of femininity, he was better than all the women he had seen on the way here, even being comparable to the Eldest Sister.

“As long as he’s cute, boys are fine too!” Ye Xing touched his head and said with a smile, while Zijin jumped behind the Eldest Sister like a girl who had been molested, revealing half of his head.

“Well, don’t make trouble, we’ll all be in the same hall from now on.”

As soon as the majesty of the Eldest Sister came out, the two people making a fuss calmed down. Zijin told the Eldest Sister what had just happened, but Linglong seemed to have expected it a long time ago, so her reaction was flat.

“Everyone has their own ambitions; don’t force people to do things. The one in front of you will be the new senior brother.”

Including Ye Xing, there were four members in the Immortal Herb Hall.

It was headed by the Eldest Sister Linglong, twenty years old, and at the pinnacle of Qi Refining. Not only was she the oldest person in the hall, but she also had the highest cultivation.

Second was Ye Xing. The 5th Rank Qi Refining cultivation base he had at the time of registration was enough to make him the deputy leader of the Immortal Herb Hall.

Next was Lantern, the Third Junior Sister, sixteen years old, at the 4th Rank of Qi Refining. She was currently attending to the spirit plants, so she didn’t show up.

Finally, there was the fourth teacher’s disciple Zijin, aged fourteen, at the 2nd Rank of Qi Refining. Since his cultivation base was the lowest, his responsibilities were also the least.

The current situation was that there was a huge spiritual field which a mere three or four cultivators at the Qi Refining Realm could not handle. In addition, nobody else was willing to join the Immortal Herb Hall, resulting in a continuous decrease in the number of spiritual plants that could be planted and grown. This meant that the contribution value was always unsatisfactory, to the point that the hall had reached the brink of closure.

Linglong concealed none of these factors, and told the entire truth to Ye Xing.

“For the sake of the Senior Sister, I won’t let the Immortal Herb Hall fall!” Ye Xing solemnly vowed.

Although I don’t know anything about farming, I have the cultivation base of the Mahayana Realm, so is it even possible to fail to farm some random spirit plants? For the sake of my own honour, I can’t let the Immortal Herb Hall disappear!

“Not for me, but for the Immortal Herb Hall!” Linglong angrily rebuked.

“If you didn’t seem so thrilled, you might be more convincing.”

“Senior Sister looks very beautiful when she’s angry!”

While Ye Xing was having a witty conversation with the Eldest Sister, there was suddenly a cacophony of explosions from the garden as a large amount of spiritual energy formed a violent gust, rustling the clothes of everyone present.

The three of them rushed to the explosion’s epicentre, only to see the spirit plants which had been carefully taken care of in the garden were withered on the ground in a mess. The fruit trees were bare, without half an intact leaf remaining; it was a scene of charred blackness.

In the centre of the spirit field, a young girl fell to the ground. It was the Third Junior Sister, Lantern.

From her appearance, she seemed about the same age as Zijin, not without that juvenile nature compared to other cultivators in the sect. She resembled a teenager in all places except for her figure.

She had a face that was even more childish than Zijin’s, but her figure was even hotter than her senior sister’s. The standard child’s face **, because of the explosion, the majority of her blue and white clothes were torn, openly revealing certain florescent scenes. Though her white skin was exposed, she was completely oblivious to all this.

As an upright gentleman, Ye Xing would naturally not take advantage of the situation. He decisively blocked his eyes with his hand, leaving only a small gap to observe the outside world.

“Junior Sister!” Linglong yelled.

The dazed junior sister staggered over, while saying in a small voice, “Senior Sister, the Spirit Cherries exploded again.”

While she was speaking, the remaining half of her clothes barely hanging on her shoulders continued to slide down. However, she didn’t seem to care, and just aggrievedly looked at her senior sister.

Looking at the junior sister showing no response to her own broken clothes, Linglong could only sigh helplessly and stretch out her hand to block Ye Xing’s field of view.

She ordered, “Go change your clothes first, and I’ll talk about other things later.”

“Yes, Senior Sister,” said Lantern, as she swayed towards her own residence.

Ye Xing, who had his vision blocked, asked strangely: “Why do you only block my eyes, but not Junior Brother’s?”

“You two are different!” Linglong said, with arms akimbo.

In this way, Ye Xing got to know all the people in the Immortal Herb Hall. Under the guidance of the Eldest Sister, he changed into the azure and white robes of the hall, took his identity token, and officially became a member of the Immortal Herb Hall. Settling down here, he would start farming with the Eldest Sister, Third Junior Sister, and Fourth Junior Brother.

However, to keep this kind of lifestyle, the first step must be to complete the farming tasks assigned by the sect.
