The staff worked very fast. After a while, not only was a laptop brought over, but tables and chairs were also brought over and set up for her.

Shu Yian rolled up her sleeves happily, and directly sat down at her newly built work post, doing exactly what she said she would do.

Although Su Wen had many complaints in her heart, fortunately, she was the type who took her work seriously and the two didn’t bother each other again.

Shu Yian began registering her author account. Registering an account was actually very simple as you only need to apply for an account and then verify your identity. Shu Yian had taken a photo of the original host’s ID card information and had stored it on her phone. Now it came in handy.

After becoming an author, all she needs to do is post a book and the first step is creating a title for the book.

Shu Yian pondered over it and decided to create something different. In the dob-blood urban city love stories she had seen, the female lead will always inevitably end up being abused by the male lead. Either the man would harvest the female lead’s kidneys for the sake of his “sweetheart”, or send the female lead to jail for his sweetheart, and then in the end find out that he loved the wrong person. He would be full of regret and then finally enact a “wife chasing crematorium” plot. Then in the finale, everything is solved and the book ends cheerfully with a HE…..(T/N: HE= Happy Ending)

Looking back on all the books she had read, Shu Yian had felt aggrieved every time she finished one.

Does the female lead have brain problems or is there something wrong with her eyes? Can’t you see that the man doesn’t hold you in his heart at all? Your life is almost gone, your family almost destroyed, yet you forgive the male lead just because he showed you a little favor? And because he does something even remotely good, you fall in love with him again?

That was what the adolescent Shu Yian at the time had thought. However, she must thank these novels because when she was in that period of her life where she was just learning what “love” meant, these novels forced her to search for other novels, and thus she had stumbled across the world of Yuri novels.

After experiencing the sweet and fluffy love of the Yuri novels, her heart finally found peace after the traumatic experience of the abusive BG novels. And while she sighed in satisfaction, soon she found that her sexual orientation had also changed. (T/N: I feel I must put a disclaimer here. Not all Yuri novels are sweet and some can be just as abusive as the BG novels, so make sure to always check the summaries and tags if you want to avoid the angst.)

Since then, she has also found that she had no interest in the domineering male CEO at all, and only held interest towards the beautiful older sister types.

While she thought all this, Shu Yian’s eyes remained on the five characters, “Please enter your title’s name.”

In summary, those abusive novels that ended with a “HE” was a sore point to her. She felt that it was time to write a novel that abuses the CEO instead of the female lead, but she understood that realistic romantic fiction was not as popular, and thus after much thinking, she could only wrong all the female leads out there.

And so she typed out a couple of words on her laptop.

《The Domineering Female President Insists on Loving Me》

Just the title of the novel was full of dog-blood. Like a mudslide, the novel that slowly appeared under her fingers dirtied the clear streams of the literature world.

Character Setting:

Lin Ge: the protagonist and heroine. As the treasure in the hands of the wealthy businessmen in City S, and the little princess of the family, she is kind, gentle, shy, and bashful yet has a righteous attitude and never forsakes her morals.

As for the female president, the female lead has the misfortune of meeting, she is the big boss of City S and can cover its sky with the wave of her hand. She is indifferent, domineering, and is ignorant of the tender feelings of the fairer sex.

Shu Yian struggled with the name of the rotten female president until she glanced over at Su Wen who was concentrating on her own work. She admits the character settings for the female president were based on this woman.

And so Shu Yian decided to name the female president: Su Wen.

And the first chapter’s title is: “That Damn Sweet Woman.”

With the basics figured out, Shu Yian felt motivated and inspired to write as she tapped away at her keyboard. Although this is her first time writing a novel, she has read so many novels before that the writing came easy to her.

First of all, the encounter between the MC and FL must be in a bar.

Don’t ask why such a shy and bashful heroine would go to a bar, after all, who doesn’t have a few unreliable friends here and there? So she was taken to a bar by her best friend but then the best friend disappeared, leaving her weak, pitiful, and helpless self at the bar.

At this moment, she happened to bump into President Su who was drugged by someone else.

In a moment of inattention, President Su was drugged by one of her business rivals. Fortunately, she was alert enough to immediately notice something wrong with her body when it began to heat up and hurriedly slipped away.

The President Su who was now burning with desire slipped out and ran into the precious princess, Lin Ge who was similarly drugged but hadn’t noticed it yet.

Oh! Her innocent looks were like a breath of fresh air compared to the temptresses bastards around her and so President Su lowered her guard and dragged the other into her car. It just so happened that precious princess Lin succumbed to the drug and the two did this and that for the entire night.

After the exhausted President Su fell asleep, precious princess LIn left with tears in her eyes.

After President Su woke up, she saw the red blood on the bed and then smiled coldly as she ordered her subordinates: “Find that woman!”

Then she muttered to herself in the empty room, “That damn sweet woman.”

The above was roughly what Shu Yian wrote in one chapter.

Three hours later, when it was about time to get off work, Shu Yian’s first chapter passed her second round of edits and she finally published it.

The Pomelo milk tea she had ordered earlier was placed on the edge of the table and laid there forgotten. The ice cubes had already melted into water and Shu Yian picked it up as she tidied up the table.

She was reluctant to throw away a drink she hadn’t finished and planned to drink it later.

Su Wen glanced at the happy expression on the other party’s face and her heart was full of doubts, but she couldn’t find a way to speak up.

【What game are you playing?】

【Why are you so happy?】

Shu Yian pretended she couldn’t hear anything and wiped the water droplets on her cup before leaving with Su Wen.

Meanwhile, Zhou Yu was still sorting out some final documents and a half-cup full of milk tea was also sitting on her desk.

Su Wen looked at Shu Yian’s milk tea then at Zhou Yu’s and felt a little unhappy.

【On the surface you say you like me, yet you drink “couple” drinks with others?】(T/N: couple drinks here are similar to couples’ clothing where couples wear the same thing.)

Shu Yian: “…..”

These misunderstandings were clearly due to someone else’s hallucinations, but how come she was the one getting blamed? Besides, people all over the streets drink milk tea, can this even be called a couple’s drink?

Shu Yian glared at Su Wen, but before she could react, Su Wen “accidentally” bumped into her and the drink in her hand fell to the ground.

Su Wen lowered her eyes, hiding the look of ‘laughing at the misfortune of others’, and her face remained impassive as she said, “I’ll pay you back.”

Shu Yian rolled her eyes.

Childish! Extremely and utterly childish!

One of the company’s cleaning ladies cleaned up the mess while Shu Yian said goodbye to Zhou Yu before following Su Wen downstairs.

A car was waiting for them outside, but Su Wen did not get in immediately. Instead, she walked to one of the nearby milk tea shops and bought two cups of strawberry milk tea, one for Shu Yian and one for herself.

She blankly handed the milk tea to Shu Yian, but the other party did not accept it.

Su Wen: “…..”

【She dares not accept the milk tea I bought for her?】

【If she doesn’t want it, fine! You can walk home by yourself!】

With a cold face, she gave a cup of milk tea to the driver. At first, she gave him the cup that was meant for Shu Yian, and then looked at the cup in her hand. She felt that she no longer had the stomach to drink milk tea and so simply gave both cups to the driver.

“You, step to the side.” Su Wen got into the car and said these few words, making it very clear that she would not let Shu Yian get into the car. Then she gave her an arrogant look.

【Beg me!】

【Just say two good sentences that’ll make me happy and then I will let you come up!】

Then she watched as Shu Yian called for a taxi.

Shu Yian: Who are you trying to fool?

This is not the empty suburbs of the villa, why would she be worried about getting a taxi here, in the center of the city?

“Mr. Driver, can we make a deal?”

The taxi driver who pulled up was a middle-aged man, who was slightly fat and squinty-eyed, but looked rather kind and patient.

“Speak.”

“From now on, will you come to my house to pick me up at 8 o’clock every morning? Then later in the day pick me up around 5 o’clock in the afternoon and wait for me to get off work? I don’t have to work overtime, so you don’t have to worry about waiting too long. We can make this a long-term cooperation. Apart from paying the standard fare for the journey, I can also give you an extra 1000 yuan a day for your hard work.”

Under normal circumstances, even if it means the customer might not get on the taxi, the driver does not take any extra jobs. After all, it is troublesome to do more than what he was paid for.

However, since the other party was willing to compensate him an extra 1000 yuan a day, he naturally agreed.

When the two of them finished finalizing their deal and left, Su Wen continued to sit in the car and sulk.

【Fine, I admit you are capable!】

【Let’s see if you’re still so capable tomorrow morning!】

【When you’re happy you send me flowers yet when you’re angry you pull a long face at me. Who do you think I am? 】

【Didn’t Secretary Zhou say that she likes me? Why doesn’t it look like that at all? Did Shu Yian lied to Zhou Yu, or did Zhou Yu lied to me?】

【Don’t tell me…those flowers really weren’t for me?】

“President Su, shall we leave?” The driver couldn’t help speaking up. Su Wen sometimes doesn’t go home directly after work, so usually Su Wen tells him her destination when she gets in the car, but this time she didn’t speak at all, and the driver couldn’t help reminding her.

Su Wen said in a cheerless tone, “Go home!”

The driver couldn’t help but smile.

He hasn’t heard these words in a long time. Before Shu Yian had moved into the villa, Su Wen would always tell him to “go home”, but after Shu Yian had moved it, it became “go back to the villa”.

From the looks of it, the relationship between the two has gotten better.

Author’s notes:

Su Wen: My home is wherever my wife goes~ (^v^)

Now for some serious explanation of this chapter. I’ve never meant to insult any type of novel in this chapter of mine. The only reason why I wrote this chapter was to mention Little Shu’s sexual orientation and her hobby of reading Yuri novels. In this way, I can naturally explain why our MC was able to accept the Yuri settings of this world so naturally. As for the stuff I wrote to insult the female leads, I mean no malice and I’m only insulting the base character setting. I think most of us have read this kind of novel back then and cried tears of regret while reading it. However, regardless of their ending or plot, every novel is a good novel if it can capture our attention. In summary, writing novels is not easy and I feel much love and admiration for every author out there.

T/N:

Lmao, Shu Yian be writing fanfiction of Su Wen 🙂
