Chapter 64

In the ruins of Bai Ling, chaos now reigned.

The students who remained here had all received the news spread by Shi Kong and others, which was that Lu Qing'er of Nanfeng Academy had been severely injured and was now hiding.

This news immediately stirred the hearts of the students. After all, everyone knew that Lu Qing'er was currently the top of the points leaderboard. If anyone could find her, wouldn't they instantly leap to the top?

They had previously been wary of Lu Qing'er because of her formidable strength, but now that she was severely injured, what was there to fear?

Thus, some greedy students couldn't resist starting to search everywhere, determined to dig her out even if they had to turn the place upside down.

On a broken wall, Shi Kong looked expressionlessly at the chaos and unrest in Bai Ling. They had been searching for an hour now, but Li Luo seemed to have vanished with Lu Qing'er, and not a trace of them could be found.

"I don't know what's going on, but I feel a bit uneasy," Shi Kong turned his head and frowned at Xiang Liang and the others.

Zong Fu said, "Don't be impatient. Under such thorough searching, they won't be able to hide for long."

Shi Kong exhaled, knowing that being anxious was useless, but the inexplicable feeling in his heart made him extremely uncomfortable.

Suddenly, he heard some noise and turned to see Song Yunfeng emerging from the nearby ruins, and in his hand, he seemed to be holding someone.

"I think I can help you force Li Luo out," Song Yunfeng said with a faint smile.

He pointed to the tightly bound figure in his hand and said, "This person is called Zhao Kuo. He is Li Luo's good friend at the academy and was always with Li Luo and Yu Lang."

"Li Luo must have sensed your actions because Yu Lang discovered you and then informed Li Luo. However, when Yu Lang noticed you, he didn't realize I was also watching him from the shadows."

"When you were fighting with Lu Qing'er, I sneaked over and caught Zhao Kuo, but Yu Lang was slippery and managed to escape."

Zhao Kuo, now bound and gagged, glared at Song Yunfeng with fiery eyes.

When Song Yunfeng discovered them, they had also noticed him, but they were less vigilant with fellow academy students since they couldn't steal points from each other, which reduced the biggest competitive drive.

However, neither Zhao Kuo nor Yu Lang had expected Song Yunfeng to suddenly attack them.

In that critical moment, Zhao Kuo deliberately collided with Song Yunfeng, giving Yu Lang a chance to escape, but he himself was captured.

Song Yunfeng ignored Zhao Kuo's fiery gaze and said, "Although we can't harm each other in the exam, we can play with this guy. I believe Li Luo will notice, and then we'll see if he's willing to show up to save his friend."

"Haha, Yunfeng, you're a timely rain!" Shi Kong descended and couldn't help but laugh.

Then he turned to Chi Su and said, "Hang Zhao Kuo in a conspicuous place. I want to see if Li Luo will choose to save his friend or protect Lu Qing'er."

Zong Fu frowned and said, "Isn't this going too far?"

Shi Kong waved his hand and said calmly, "If Li Luo hadn't meddled, none of this would have happened. Everything is because of him."

Chi Su nodded in response, and with a wave of his hand, green vines extended and bound Zhao Kuo.

In a tree hollow.

Li Luo opened his slightly closed eyes and looked at Lu Qing'er in front of him. He noticed her fair face was flushed, and her body was trembling slightly. He asked in surprise, "Are you okay?"

Lu Qing'er bit her lip and shook her head slightly, then said in a soft voice, "Are you done?"

Li Luo smiled and nodded, then released Lu Qing'er's hand. She visibly relaxed, her tense body easing.

The flush on Lu Qing'er's face faded, and she sensed her injuries, saying in surprise, "My injuries are nearly 80% healed."

In less than an hour, her injuries had recovered to this extent under Li Luo's treatment.

Is his healing ability that strong?

"Li Luo, you're amazing!" Lu Qing'er said happily.

Li Luo modestly waved his hand and said, "You should focus on recovering your phase power."

Lu Qing'er nodded and slowly closed her eyes, activating her energy guidance technique to restore her depleted phase power.

Li Luo stood up and went to the entrance of the tree hollow, looking out at the ruins. Suddenly, his eyes narrowed, and his expression turned grim as he gazed in a certain direction.

He glanced back at the recovering Lu Qing'er, then activated his Water Phase power and cast the "Water Shadow Technique" to cover himself. Once his figure became faint, he quickly slipped out of the tree hollow.

Li Luo's faint figure leaped through the ruins and stopped in a hidden spot after about ten minutes. He looked coldly at an open area ahead.

On a broken high-rise, a figure was hanging, and it was Zhao Kuo.

Shi Kong and the others stood around, their sharp gazes scanning the surroundings.

"Li Luo, I know you can see this. I won't waste words. Hand over Lu Qing'er, and I'll let your friend go," Shi Kong's deep voice echoed.

But there was silence all around.

"If you don't come out, don't blame me for disgracing your friend today," Shi Kong sneered, picked up a stone, crushed it, and flicked it at Zhao Kuo. The pain made Zhao Kuo break out in a cold sweat.

But with his mouth now free, he clenched his teeth and made no sound, knowing that the other side was trying to force Li Luo out by making him speak.

"Quite stubborn, aren't you?"

Shi Kong smiled faintly and flicked his fingers, sending more crushed stones, wrapped in Thunder Phase power, to strike Zhao Kuo, causing a dull thud each time.

Zhao Kuo's body jerked violently, like a severely injured fish.

Whoosh!

At that moment, a whistling sound broke the air, and a green figure appeared, shouting, "Shi Kong, you scumbag, if you fall into my hands, I'll dunk you headfirst into a cesspool!"

Shi Kong looked expressionlessly at the figure, and Song Yunfeng said, "That's Yu Lang."

"Zhao Kuo, I'm here to save you!"

Yu Lang let out a strange cry and shot toward the hanging Zhao Kuo.

Song Yunfeng coldly snorted and lunged, striking Yu Lang with a palm. Yu Lang didn't defend himself and let the palm hit him.

Yu Lang's body shook, and a trickle of blood appeared at the corner of his mouth, but his figure moved like a leaf in the wind, strangely gliding closer to Zhao Kuo.

Shi Kong frowned, about to intervene.

But at that moment, Yu Lang spat out a green light, which struck Zhao Kuo's chest and shattered his crystal badge.

Yu Lang landed gracefully, looking at the charging Song Yunfeng like a hungry tiger, and calmly removed his own crystal badge, crushing it in front of them.

"Haha, I have no crystal badge now, I'm eliminated. Come and hit me if you dare."

Yu Lang stood up straight and laughed at Shi Kong and Song Yunfeng.

Shi Kong, Song Yunfeng, and the others were taken aback. They thought Yu Lang had come to save Zhao Kuo, but he had no intention of doing so and instead chose to eliminate both himself and Zhao Kuo.

But with that, they couldn't do anything to the eliminated, as it would be a violation of the rules.

For a moment, Shi Kong and Song Yunfeng's faces turned grim.
