I'm really happy!!!
"J-Just stop it."
In response to Stefan's words, Lumin tilted her head and knelt down, looking at Stefan, whose face had turned pale.
Beside him, Sharon was also there, her face pale as she knelt on both knees.
"Now, now, this is just the first chapter of Volume Two of the posture training for a queen. There are ten more chapters to go."
Stefan looked up at Lumin with a gaze that seemed to see a monster and shook his head repeatedly.
"Just posture... for over an hour in the same position. And before that, it was the posture for drinking tea and the posture for receiving a dance. Posture alone for ten chapters... You must be joking."
"No, this is just the basic posture, and it continues up to Volume Five."
"Wh-What? You must be joking."
"Your Highness, this is just the basic posture. Moreover, I plan to continue with education on etiquette and other subjects."
"Wait a minute. Really, wait a minute."
"Ah... We haven't even conveyed a tenth of what princess education entails."
Frustrated by their quick surrender, Lumin sighed deeply and encouraged Stefan and Sharon to sit in chairs, then asked a maid to bring them tea.
After taking a sip of tea, the two of them finally regained some color in their faces.
They had only been discussing princess education for four hours, yet they were already exhausted.
Lumin sighed, took a sip of tea, and then spoke quietly.
"Princess education encompasses a wide variety of subjects. Posture, etiquette, the words and movements for various ceremonies, language—princess education requires proficiency in more than five languages. Additionally, there are manners for ceremonies in neighboring countries, formal attire, and countless other details. There's also the final check of the castle's furnishings and the menus for various ceremonies, the preparation for balls and tea parties, and interactions and information exchanges with the nobility. While I only know about the princess education in my own country, if the king is responsible for protecting the country, the princess is responsible for maintaining the connections between the castle and the nobility."
Stefan, admiring Lumin's beautiful and proper tea-drinking posture, exhaled and said,
"You... are amazing."
"Huh?"
"No, I thought I was trying my best to become the crown prince... but it seems I was mistaken. I admit that I underestimated princess education, and I apologize for it. Miss Lumin, thank you for making me realize this."
Stefan looked straight at Lumin, and she felt a warmth in her chest.
It was the first time.
The first time Stefan had acknowledged her.
Lumin was happy about it. However, Stefan's next words were different.
"You are suitable to be my fiancée. Please, will you be my fiancée?"
"I will decline unless it is an order from His Majesty the King."
Stefan's eyes widened in surprise, and Sharon, who was standing beside him, opened her mouth in shock.
