C77 Part2

The people in the audiences’ seats, who were enraged by their actions, stood up Ine after another and began throwing whatever they had around them towards the people of WanQing City.

There were fruits, shoes, socks, books and so on.

The loud siren sounded as the mechanical voice declared: “Warning: Creating disturbances are strictly prohibited in the arena! Warning: Creating disturbances are strictly prohibited in the arena! If the turmoil continues, the contingency plan for emergencies will be activated! If the turmoil continues, the contingency plan for emergencies will be activated!”

The so-called contingency plan was to electrocute the audience and suppress them by force.

Finally, everyone calmed down and returned to their seats. However, the resentment towards WanQing City was blazing like a raging fire in their hearts.

“In arena No. 4, No. 077, Female Warrior Xu, from WanQing City’s Saintess Hall, achieved an overwhelming victory against No. 090, Female Warrior Qi Ye, from Han City’s Saintess Hall. In arena No. 4, No. 077, Female…”

Female Warrior Xu, who led her five male beastmen down the arena, faced the audience with a look of contempt, raised her chin and said proudly: “An arena is a gory place. If I was defeated and ended up in her situation, WanQing City’s people will certainly not shout and curse like you all— Just…can any of the females of your Han City defeat me?”

‘Gosh! What an arrogant female ah. This Sister likes her confidence!’

Yang QiQi got up from her seat and clapped loudly. Seeing this, except for bodyguard Xu, who did not belong to Han City, Ling Yue, Xiang BuChen and Tu Jin stood up one after another.

The sound of her claps were awfully abrupt, making the people of Han City in the audiences’ seat believe that a group of people from WanQing City had showed up. But after taking a closer look, they discovered that it was Yang QiQi, the top-ranked Female Warrior from their own side. Recalling the different kinds of rumors about her, they immediately felt a lot more empowered.

‘Who said our Han City didn’t have a female who can defeat you? You just didn’t meet that person.’

Female Warrior Xu had always been conceited because of her beauty, so when she saw Yang QiQi standing up, she immediately realized that this female was the one who was rumored to be as beautiful as a goddess. A chill flashed in her eyes: A person with this kind of an appearance should not appear in the secular world. So, she would be delighted to take the responsibility and make her disappear with her own hands.

“Yang QiQi?!” Her eyes narrowed slightly.

Yang QiQi smiled happily: “Since Female Warrior Xu asked whether the person from Han City can defeat your or not, I had to stand up and let you see myself clearly. Aiyaya , Lady Xu ah, you are already so anxious to let me beat you. It would be a pity if we don’t get to meet face-to-face in the arena.”

Xu sneered: “As long as you don’t get disqualified till the final, I will inevitably have the opportunity to sort you out.”

“Oh, you’re right.” Yang QiQi nodded her head, “I will undoubtedly be waiting to meet you in the final match. However, if you can’t make it through for some unfortunate reason, we can still have a solo fight after the competition ends.”

While the two females confronted in this side, the match in arena No. 2 on the other side was over and the two numbers displayed on the crystal screen were: No. 111 and No. 156.

No. 111, Bai Xue, 17 years old. From HaiLan City, gold attribute. Five Guardian Beasts, namely: Mao Ju, Ye Si, XingHun, Dao, Yan Jia.

No. 156, Yang QiQi, 15 years old. From Han City, wood attribute. Five Guardian Beasts, namely: (Nian JiMo, Zheng Shou) Ling Yue, Xiang BuChen, Tu Jin.

Originally, Yang QiQi’s age in the official records was 10 years old, but as she had developed too fast, she decided to change it to 15 years old after discussing with Han City officials. The speed of her growth had increased tremendously after eating the Saintess fruits. Soon, she would develop into a mature woman with enchanting appearance. If she still remained only 10 years old and Nian JiMo and others wanted to eat her, they would then be violating the rules regarding the protection of females. And the reason why Han City agreed to modify her age so easily was because they gave the condition that Nian JiMo and Zheng Shou would have to oversee and be responsible for the entire matter of this competition. This was also the fundamental reason why the two resisted being together with Yang QiQi all the time and worked hard without any complaints.

On the screen, the names of Nian JiMo and Zheng Shou were put in brackets to indicate that although these two were her Guardian Beasts, they could not participate in the competition due to their strength being greater than stipulated.

“Lady QiQi will certainly win!” Han City’s people cheered loudly, their responses creating a loud commotion. Immediately, the mechanical voice resounded in warning again.

After this incident with Female Warrior Xu, Han City’s people were remarkably united, regarding Yang QiQi as their hope and idol.
