C105 Part1

Sitting close to each other, Cang City’s Female Warrior ZiZi and Female Warrior YueDu were also whispering between themselves at this time.

“Female Warrior QiQi is really defeated?” YueDu asked.

ZiZi shook her head: “Not necessarily. Being trapped doesn’t mean that she cannot turn the tide. Just look at the leader, she is incredibly confident in that Female Warrior QiQi.”

YueDu turned her head. As expected, she saw Xiao Yuan looking at that water ball with a smile.

It was at this moment that a gurgling sound was heard. A neat vertical split appeared on the surface of the water ball as if it was slashed with a knife. Almost simultaneously, two green rays of light shot out; one made a beeline for Female Warrior Xu’s face while the other rushed toward her ankle.

Although Female Warrior Xu had not totally let down her guard, she did indeed relax to a certain degree. Noticing the sudden change in the situation, she hurriedly condensed a water blade in her hand and flung it at the long vine.

The vine and the blade were both destroyed.

Female Warrior Xu secretly muttered: ‘Not good!’

Suddenly, she felt a tightness around her ankle followed by a strong force pulling her forward. Almost instantly, her body toppled over and glided through the air in Yang QiQi’s direction.

But Female Warrior Xu was really something. Even when her body was in the air, her brain was exceptionally fast. Spreading her hands wide, she cried out: “Praise of water, condense!”

The surface of the sea surged again as gigantic waves began to form. However, despite their initial large momentum, they gradually became warm, relaxed, and gentle like those hundreds of fast-flowing rivers once when met the sea.

By the time Female Warrior Xu’s body dropped down, a large stream of water had gathered around the water ball. Similar to dribbling a drop of water into the sea, when she plunged into the water, only some tiny ripples appeared on the surface. This setting was indeed an enormous boon for Xu ah; with just one move, she could easily change the situation to her advantage.

At this time, the water ball made a gurgling sound again. As if it was cut open from the middle like a melon or it bloomed like a lotus, the water ball split open. Yang QiQi stood in the center with a solemn expression, her black hair fluttering. She looked graceful, pure, and holy like a fairy as well as an adamant enchantress capable of devouring souls.

“So beautiful ah~” A male beastman couldn’t help but exclaim in admiration, his words echoing clearly due to the silence.

“What, this is a fighting competition, not a beauty contest…” A female beastman mumbled enviously. Yet she would never admit that she was also fascinated by that beautiful scene just now.

Amidst the gasps of admiration, Xu's expression was calm as usual, but raging waves were beating against the shores of his heart.

Others couldn’t detect it but he could. Yang QiQi had used her mental attribute to halve the water ball. Judging by her execution just now, her mental power seemed to have become much more refined since the time she used it to deal with Li Yuan.

In the Beast World, in addition to the usual five elemental attributes , female beastmen also had very few special attributes, such as wind, thunder, void, etc. However, the most mysterious, formidable, and erratic among them was the mental attribute. According to the records, since the establishment of the ChiDu Empire 530 years ago, there had only been two female beastmen who possessed this mental attribute. Although these two Female Warriors had not succeeded in being promoted to the Saintess rank, their attack power as Female Marshals were equivalent to that of a Saintess.

The Beast God had always been fair, so this attribute had both advantages and disadvantages. Mental attribute had an extraordinary lethality, but at the same time, it was also the most difficult attribute to comprehend and get promoted.

When the Dean of LingWu City Saintess Hall loaded the preliminary stimulant and cultivation methods of the mental attribute into the internal type ‘Youla’ and asked him to hand it over to Yang QiQi, they only wanted to give it a try. Unexpectedly, even without the guidance of a specialized instructor, this little female succeeded in triggering and wielding it. Moreover, not only did she wield it but she also managed to attack the yellow rank Female Warrior Li Yuan with it. And now, she used it to crush Female Warrior Xu’s mighty ‘Fury of Water’.

What kind of monstrous aptitude was this ah?

At this time, Xu felt that their LingWu City Saintess Hall’s attention to Yang QiQi should be raised to an even higher level.

He had a premonition that their ChiDu Empire might have a Saintess with mental attribute soon.

Since she didn’t want to disclose this attribute of hers, Yang QiQi wrapped her feet with her mental powers, and condensed a lotus leaf under her feet, creating the illusion of a floating leaf. Like this, she looked like a fairy dancing in the breeze yet what she held in her hands was in no way a piece of silk but a murderous thorned vine.

Ever since Female Warrior Xu plunged into the water, she hadn’t come out. No matter how Yang QiQi pulled the vine around her ankle, shook it, or thrashed it, she couldn’t get the former out of the water.

But of course, she would not hide in the water forever. She knew that it was impossible to win by defense alone. The only way to achieve victory was to go on the offensive. Because her ‘Praise of Water’ couldn’t control anything that happened outside its surface where Yang QiQi was, she had to pretend she had gotten rid of the control of her vines while secretly condensing the water blades to hurl at Yang QiQi abruptly.

Twelve water blades shot out of the water’s surface and directly went toward Yang QiQi’s face.

The thorn vine wriggled and started revolving, forming a circular protective space around her body. The water blades shattered as soon as they touched the vines.

Female Warrior Xu’s mind started buzzing from the impact on the water blades. Not giving her another chance to strike again, Yang QiQi secretly covered the thorned vine with mental power and pulled her opponent out of the water. And almost immediately, Xu felt tremendous pain in the right side of her chest.
