C48 Part2

Translated by An Edited by An

Zheng Shou thought for a while and said solemnly: “You must keep your promise. If you dare to get injured, I won’t care about whatever that Article 26 or 27 states. I will definitely go down into the arena and beat her up.”

No matter whether males can or cannot fight against females, no matter whether males can or cannot injure females… If that female named Lin Yu had the audacity to hurt his sweetheart QiQi, he would also stop caring about the laws and aftermath of his action. He would let her know what was meant by “blood spatters three feet from old bear’s fury”!

Yang QiQi knew that he was not bluffing. If she truly got wounded, he would do as he said.

He was using himself to force her to protect herself!

“I promise you that I’ll protect myself.” She tugged at his beard and smiled: “However, I want to see you shave your beard off when I come back.”

“Oh, don’t worry.” Zheng Shou’s expression loosened. He touched his face and whispered in her ear: “QiQi, in fact, this old bear looks good too, not worse than that brat, Nian JiMo. It’s just that I’m not as provocative as him since I put relatively more emphasis on the inner qualities of a person, nothing more.”

“Oh, I know, I know, Ah Shou is the most thoughtful but those little females are too superficial.” Yang QiQi endured her laughter.

Nian JiMo gave him a quick roll of eyes from the side: If you value inner qualities more, it will soon be raining red.

“Yang QiQi! Come down for me!” Lin Yu was already standing in the middle of the arena, pointing her fingers at Yang QiQi as she hissed violently.

Truly impatient ah… Some people are always eager to be oppressed!

Yang QiQi stretched out her hand and pinched Zheng Shou’s cheek before throwing a smile at Nian JiMo. Then, she turned around and ran a few steps ahead. Supporting her body with one hand on the audience handrail, she jumped over it and turned over into the air once before landing on the ground of the arena.

The beastmen who were paying attention to her actions cried out in alarm. But when they saw her reaching the ground without any accident and standing up straight, there was a burst of applause from all over.

Yang QiQi’s movement was light, smooth and graceful. She jumped over the handrail which was even taller than her as if she was a flying butterfly. The male beastmen, who had always relied on their physical strength to overcome obstacles higher than themselves with no difficulty, could never execute this move so beautifully and with such agility. Besides, it was even more unlikely for the female beastmen to do this since they were not so physically fit.

As a result, the people in the audience were awestruck!

It was at this moment that Ling Yue and the other two finally crossed through the huge barrier formed by the crowd and reached the place where Nian JiMo and Zheng Shou were sitting.

“Lady QiQi’s move is really beautiful ah~” Tu Jin held the handrail as half of his body leaned over it to look down at Yang QiQi, who was approaching Lin Yu.

Xiang BuChen folded his arms and stood behind him quietly. But he squinted his eyes slightly to watch her every move. Perceiving Nian JiMo’s hostile gaze, he hurriedly glanced at him, and then tossed him at the back of his mind. Now, no one could attract his attention more than her.

Although Ling Yue was also startled, he did not forget to greet the two adult males. They were the Guardian Beasts that Yang QiQi had officially acknowledged. In the future, she would also accept the three of them, so technically, they were all her people. As latecomers and as juniors, it was natural to have a humble attitude.

“Good morning to you two, We just arrived here at the Saintess Hall after handling the formalities in the Dean’s office. But we didn’t expect to encounter Lady QiQi fighting in a life or death challenge. What is going on here?”

“It’s because Lin Yu, that lecherous fool, was captivated by Nian JiMo…” On one hand, Zheng Shou felt worried as he looked at the person in the center of the arena and on the other hand, he felt indignant as he narrated the course of events.

“I see. So that’s how it is.” Ling Yue kept nodding his head repeatedly. The fire in his eyes burned fiercely as he watched the little female in the arena.

If he was not mistaken, Yang QiQi’s moves were those legendary skills that the Red-Ranked or even higher ranked Saintess Halls had hidden away, right?!

He really didn’t expect such a young Female Warrior to be an expert. If those techniques were used by an adult male beastman, how powerful would he become, with his figure and his already formidable strength?

This time, fortune finally favored him, didn’t it? Unexpectedly, she accepted his offer to be by her side… Oh! He must try to make her accept him as her official Guardian Beast as soon as possible. He couldn’t even imagine how many males would start pursuing her from today onwards!
