Ji Hao pulled open the courtyard gate and saw Ji Wu standing impatiently at the door, arms crossed, swaying his body back and forth.
With a 'click,' Ji Wu lowered his head arrogantly, looking down at Ji Hao, who was much shorter and thinner, and said arrogantly, "Ji Hao, I will beat you to death at the ancestral ceremony!"
Ji Hao looked up at Ji Wu, twisted his mouth, and laughed coldly, "Who was spitting blood yesterday? Want to beat me to death? Wash the blood out of your mouth first!"
Ji Wu glared at Ji Hao, his eyes almost popping out of hatred. Being beaten to the point of spitting blood in front of so many clan members was the greatest humiliation of his life. Especially since Ji Hao's cultivation was much weaker than his, being injured by someone less powerful made Ji Wu lose face.
"Damn bastard!" Ji Wu angrily swung his big fist, ready to punch Ji Hao.
A woman gracefully appeared from behind Ji Wu, casually pushing his arm. The towering Ji Wu stumbled backward for several steps, almost sitting on the ground. Ji Wu cried out in委屈, "Mother, I want to beat this little bastard!"
"Oh? Who is the little bastard cursing?" Ji Hao crossed his arms, smiling at the woman.
Ji Wu was about to curse again, but the woman standing in front of Ji Hao scolded him fiercely, making Ji Wu shut his mouth. She narrowed her eyes and sized up Ji Hao from head to toe. After a while, she sneered, "What a handsome boy... as handsome as your mother, but with such thin arms and legs, be careful not to get broken by the wild beasts on the mountain."
Ji Hao also sized up the woman. She was a head taller than Qing Fu. Compared to the elegant and serene Qing Fu, this woman was much more fiery in both figure and temperament. Her magnificent chest, round and firm buttocks, moist and crimson lips, and a pair of alluring almond eyes made her exude a dangerous and intoxicating charm like a mandrake.
"There are no wild beasts in this world that can break my arms and legs." Ji Hao stared straight at the woman's magnificent chest and clicked his tongue in amazement, "It's you, Grandma, who should be careful. The Black Water Black Snake tribe's bastards often come to harass. If they kidnap you, at least a hundred men from the Black Water Black Snake tribe will come to like you in one night!"
The woman's face turned ugly. "Grandma"? Did she look like one of those old ladies in the tribe with wrinkles that could bury people? Moreover, Ji Hao's last words were too vicious.
"Bastard! How dare you talk to my mother like that?" Ji Wu roared angrily, his arms flashing with light as a heavy shield and a large axe flew out and were tightly gripped in his hands.
Ji Wu's body was filled with a murderous aura. Just as he was about to attack Ji Hao, a huge bear head suddenly appeared behind Ji Hao. The fat bear stood up, towering like a mountain behind Ji Wu, his three-foot-long fur bristling, his murky eyes emitting a strong killing intent, and his mouth dripping with thick saliva, staring straight at Ji Wu without a sound.
"Damn it!" Ji Wu, like a toad being stared at by a giant python, was locked in place by the bear's substantial aura, unable to move. His body stiffened as he staggered backward two steps, almost collapsing to the ground.
Although the fat bear was very fat, he was Ji Xia's battle beast, a fierce beast whose strength approached the Great Shaman realm. How could Ji Wu, a mere shaman, withstand the aura he emitted?
"Humph!" The woman waved her hand, and a sharp tearing sound came from her slender fingers, forcibly tearing apart the bear's aura. She looked at Ji Hao coldly and sneered, "Little brat, are your hairs fully grown? You only know about the affairs between men and women? Tsk, Qing Fu, did you send a little brat to deal with me when I came to visit?"
She chuckled, and a gray mist spewed from her sleeve, heading straight for Ji Hao's face.
Ji Hao smelled the pungent herbal scent and, in the blink of an eye, identified the scents of seven highly toxic herbs, including rotten bone grass, broken intestine grass, and shattered scripture grass. There were also a few other toxic flowers, but he couldn't identify them in the rush.
His figure flickered, and Ji Hao retreated quickly, creating a gust of wind.
The fat bear roared, spewing a gust of wind from his mouth to barely block the gray mist. But the woman flicked her fingers, and the gray mist turned into two snakes, drilling straight into the bear's nostrils.
"Sister Jiang Yao, you know I only know healing herbs, not poisons." Qing Fu sighed softly, and a large cloud of green mist spewed from the house, instantly enveloping the two gray snakes. The hissing sound continued as the gray and green mists devoured and merged, quickly turning into a colorless and odorless white smoke that dissipated in the wind.
Jiang Yao's face suddenly changed, and she sneered, "Qing Fu, I didn't expect your alchemy skills to improve even after falling from the Great Shaman realm?"
Qing Fu didn't respond. Ji Hao stood behind the fat bear, pulling on the long hair on its buttocks to prevent it from attacking Jiang Yao, and laughed coldly, "Even if my mother's shamanic power has declined, she is still a genius in alchemy, dedicated to healing and detoxifying the clan. It's natural for her alchemy skills to improve."
Jiang Yao chuckled, her eyes flickering as she called into the wooden house, "Brother Ji Xia, did you send a little brat to deal with me when I came to visit?"
Ji Xia didn't respond, but Qing Fu said calmly, "Jiang Yao, are you here to visit or to provoke? Whatever it is, let's discuss it at the ancestral ceremony. Even if you want to compete in alchemy, let's do it at the ancestral ceremony."
Jiang Yao chuckled, her eyes darting as she glared at Ji Hao and said softly, "Then as you say, Qing Fu. At the ancestral ceremony, we sisters will have a good time. After all, my son Ji Shu will soon be the leader of the Fire Crow tribe's warriors!"
Ji Hao coughed heavily and said solemnly, "My father, Ji Xia, is the leader of the Fire Crow tribe's warriors."
Jiang Yao smiled sweetly at Ji Hao, her slender waist twisting as her fingers suddenly moved, sending several dark green streaks of cold light toward Ji Hao. "Little brat, you have a tough mouth? Didn't your mother teach you to respect your elders?"
The cold light whistled, and the fierce cold wind forced Ji Hao to close his eyes. Even though Jiang Yao's claws were still several feet away, the wind had already scratched shallow blood marks on Ji Hao's face. The wind carried a pungent, fishy smell, indicating that her claws were coated with a highly toxic substance.
Jiang Yao was a shaman, and a powerful one who had broken through to the Great Shaman realm.
Ji Hao couldn't open his eyes and could only retreat quickly.
Qing Fu suddenly appeared in front of Ji Hao, opening her mouth to release a thumb-sized white jade bead that emitted a faint white light. It flew out of her mouth and struck Jiang Yao's palm heavily.
Jiang Yao screamed, her hands retreating as if burned. She greedily glanced at the white jade bead and sneered, "Wood Birth Pearl? What a treasure... but Qing Fu, your shamanic nodes are also broken, so you're a waste. I'll be waiting for you at the ancestral ceremony!"
She grabbed Ji Wu's shoulder, and her body exploded, turning into dozens of fire streaks that quickly disappeared.
Qing Fu swallowed the Wood Birth Pearl, her slender body swaying slightly, and a thin trail of blood suddenly dripped from the corner of her mouth.
Ji Hao opened his eyes, seeing the blood on Qing Fu's lips, his dark eyes suddenly turning a deep red before quickly fading.
A heavy voice came from inside the house, "Hao, if you're hungry, come in and eat."
After a pause, Ji Xia said coldly, "Are they really bullying us? Do they really think I, Ji Xia, am a waste?"
Ji Hao didn't respond, just walked back into the wooden house and started eating the spotted python in large bites.
