After returning to the classroom, the roommates in Tong Yan's dormitory did not overly question his whereabouts. "You seem very restless lately," Dong Mian said curiously, noticing Tong Yan fidgeting in his seat.

I'll check your recitation tomorrow. That's all," Mr. Song said while packing his briefcase, looking very rushed.

"Xiaoxu, you go back first. I have something to do. You heard what Mr. Song said. Just stand at the podium and announce it clearly."

After dismissing Luo Xiaoxu, Tong Yan went upstairs to find Song RAO. This step was a bit troublesome, and he wished he could skip it.
Although it was break time, the corridor in the senior high school area was quiet, with few students out and about. Most were still buried in their studies. Among the few, Tong Yan found Song RAO. She was playing shuttlecock with another well-known senior, Zhao Ying. The two beautiful girls playing and laughing outside probably distracted many students who were reading the classics.
The first to notice Tong Yan was not Song RAO but Zhao Ying, who was facing him. Seeing him, Zhao Ying's lips curled into a mischievous smile, and she deliberately kicked the shuttlecock far away.
"Why so hard?" Song RAO laughed, complaining, and turned to pick up the shuttlecock, which stopped right by Tong Yan's feet.
"Why are you here? Looking for me?" Song RAO, who had been enjoying herself, finally noticed the long legs in her line of sight belonged to Tong Yan.
"I'm here for the password."
Tong Yan's words hurt the girl. "We don't have anyone named 'password' in our class. You must be mistaken."
Clearly, being blunt wouldn't work. Tong Yan smiled flatteringly. "Actually, I'm looking for you, Senior. Want to come with me to the third floor?"
"Is your dad not there?"
"He's not."
Song RAO thought for a moment and handed the shuttlecock to Zhao Ying. "You play by yourself. I have something to do."
"This must be the cat and dog person. Got it. You're a friend who forgets about others for a pretty face," Zhao Ying whispered to Song RAO, earning a flurry of playful punches. "Stop talking nonsense. Help me deal with the teacher."
"Go ahead, it's fine if you don't come back." Zhao Ying looked on with a mischievous grin, not blaming her for her wild imagination. The students in nearby classrooms were stretching their necks like ostriches, all speculating. This was a time of wild imagination, and it couldn't be stopped.
The more guilty one felt, the more composed one had to act. So, Tong Yan walked into Mr. Song's office with Song RAO, under the watchful eyes of some teachers.
It was evening, and not many teachers were working overtime. The few who saw Tong Yan and Song RAO didn't think much of it. "Hey, don't be so stingy. If you give me the password now, I won't have to bother you in the future. It's convenient for both of us," Tong Yan tried to solve the problem at its root.
"That won't work. If you have a secret, you won't put in as much effort when I ask for your help in the future," Song RAO's eyes revealed her shrewdness. "Alright, start writing."
Song RAO let Tong Yan take the main seat, sitting beside him. Tong Yan sighed and began to write.
"By the way, isn't it your dad's self-study session today? Why isn't he here?" Song RAO asked, watching Tong Yan type seriously.
Tong Yan replied distractedly, "He said he had something at home. Oh, by the way, is there anything going on at your place today?"
Song RAO mused aloud, "Nothing at home. I don't remember anything important that would make him skip class. Could it be..."
Her words trailed off. Although Tong Yan wasn't gossipy, he couldn't stand her leaving him hanging. "Could it be what?" It was inhumane to speak only half a sentence.

"I'm leaving." Song RAO suddenly announced.
