Liangzhou Army: Official media and websites all affirm that the Liangzhou Army is one of the four strongest armies of the Han Dynasty, alongside the armies of Bingzhou and Youzhou. In reality, due to the frequent rebellions of the Qiang people, the Liangzhou Army has the highest combat frequency and the largest number of troops (tens of thousands). It is often considered the strongest army of the Han Dynasty, though there may be some debate about this. However, it is undisputed that it ranks among the top two. It is equivalent to the Chengdu Military Region's Field Army of the seven major military regions of China. The elite forces of the Liangzhou Army, such as the Li and Guo units, are akin to the Chengdu Military Region's elite special forces, with a smaller number of troops (3,000).
Central Army: Composed of "good family sons" (those with a good background and physical condition who are martial arts enthusiasts) and the Northern Army (the capital's guard force). The Central Army has a glorious history and is well-equipped, but its recent low combat frequency has led to a decline in combat effectiveness. It is roughly equivalent to the weakest of the seven major military regions' field armies in China.
County Militia: Equivalent to the armed police force, with the characteristic that the more prosperous the area, the weaker the combat effectiveness of the local force.
Xun Family Army: A mixed force composed of local defense teams (village militia), security guards (light knights), terrorists (Yellow Turban defectors), and martial arts enthusiasts (represented by the Xun family's descendants). It has a short history, a small number of troops (3,000), but a high recent combat frequency. It is similar to the armed police force in China, specifically tasked with counter-terrorism, and includes units like the Snow Leopard Commando, with combat effectiveness slightly higher than that of ordinary field armies.
Yellow Turban Army: Composed of a complex mix of core fighters (trained in camps similar to those of the Taliban in Afghanistan), security guards (light knights), martial arts enthusiasts (represented by the descendants of powerful families like Bo Cai), and a large number of fanatics (similar to suicide bombers, including women and children). It has a short history, low combat frequency, and a large number of troops (hundreds of thousands). Although it has suppressed the Yizhou County Militia (equivalent to the armed police) through surprise attacks and numerical superiority, its overall combat effectiveness is weaker than that of the armed police. However, its few elite units have combat effectiveness approaching that of field armies.
Liu Bei's Army: Composed entirely of security guards (light knights), with a small number of troops (300) and no combat experience. Its combat effectiveness is similar to that of the militia reserve. Note that it has recently received some field army equipment, which has improved its combat effectiveness.
