Thank you for your evaluations, bookmarks, and reports of typos.
I plan to update every Monday and Friday.
Even in the middle of winter, there are occasionally days with incredibly good weather and warmth.
The sky was cloudless, a fine day for an outing with just the right warmth, and I was walking hand in hand with Regulus and Kousuke, carrying a lunch box, exploring a deep cave – a dungeon.
In front were Mr. Romanov and Lala, behind were Mr. Gensan and Viktor, and on either side were Mr. Utsunomiya and Tara, forming a tight formation as we walked through the surprisingly well-structured cave.
Before heading to the dungeon, we stopped by the city guild to complete the temporary adventurer registration and received a dog tag-shaped necklace as proof.
According to Roland, this dog tag is quite advanced.
First, a small drop of blood is dripped onto a metal dog tag that has been processed with magic. This causes the magic embedded in the metal to react, registering the biological data onto the dog tag.
This technology is used not only by the adventurer guild but by all guilds. The wooden tag I received from the merchant I buy spices from also has a similar magic spell.
The adventurer guild requires information updates when an adventurer's rank increases and once a year. To update the information, a drop of blood is dripped onto the tag, and the guild uses a dedicated crystal to read the biological data, serving as an identity card.
So, here’s the thing.
Since biological data is registered, it’s inevitable to see the status when creating it.
However, status is ultimate personal information, so it’s only disclosed to guild staff and the individual. In my case, Mr. Romanov said it was "for the mental health of the staff," so Roland and I registered it with Mr. Romanov. It seems that Kousuke and Regulus had caused the staff to faint.
The conclusion was that Roland let out a rough cry of "What the hell is this!?" and Mr. Romanov had a serious face.
Here’s my status, bang!
Name: Kikunoi Kuchou
Race: Human
Age: Six years old
Level: 10
Occupation: Noble, Merchant, Advanced Enchanter, Advanced Monster Tamer, Ultimate God's Singer
Skills: Cooking A++, Sewing Ex, Cultivation A++, Craftsmanship A++, Alchemy A, Swordsmanship E, Archery E, Horsemanship C, Magic A+, Training A
Special Skills: Blue Hand, Green Hand, Superlative Skill, Blessed Weaver (Ultimate One)
Notes: Favored by Princess Hyakka, Igor's Blessing (Medium), Favored by Princess Hyourin
Something I hadn’t seen before had grown.
But more importantly, what’s “Ultimate One”?
I only thought that in a world with magic, biological data could be seen, but the very concept of this status is questionable.
Well, from there, it was like this.
Mr. Romanov pinched my cheek, which had lost some meat, and said, "The meat is thinner, but the skin's elasticity hasn't changed! Amazing, Lala!" Lala’s massage techniques were praised, and I was worshipped by Roland. It was quite busy.
"Absolutely don’t show it to others carelessly!" Mr. Romanov and Roland said this so many times that my ears were ringing, but I wouldn’t show it anyway.
As for the enchanter, it’s probably because I always use enchantment magic. As for the monster tamer, it seems to be due to Tara.
Tara is a gift from Princess Hyourin, but by increasing her magic power, it seems that Tara and I have formed a master-servant relationship. Training her to make threads and fabric apparently counts as training. I didn’t know that.
To avoid unnecessary trouble, monster tamers are required to register their familiars with the adventurer guild. Therefore, Tara, as my familiar, wears a leg ring with the same magic spell as the dog tag.
Incidentally, even infants can register as adventurers if it’s a temporary registration.
It’s not uncommon for couples to have children while adventuring, and temporary registration is allowed for identity verification. This way, if something happens to the parents, the guild can quickly protect the children.
Since we have completed the registration, Regulus, Kousuke, and I can now call ourselves temporary adventurers. Even as temporary adventurers, we can take on certain quests to earn pocket money.
Of course, the quests available to temporary adventurers are things like shopping for elderly people with mobility issues.
But for Kousuke, it was a big deal, and he was breathing heavily, saying, "I’m an adventurer now!"
Adventuring seems to be a popular profession for boys.
Kousuke and Regulus enjoy listening to Mr. Romanov and Lala’s adventure stories.
Incidentally, a popular profession for girls is a tailor in the imperial capital, as Elise said.
By the way, Elise’s embroidery and tsumami skills have improved dramatically. When I checked her status, she had grown a “Blue Hand.”
This is a great boost for Effet Papillon. If sales increase, I’ll have to give Elise a skill allowance.
We walk at the pace of the children, and since we’re a group, we get stared at by passing adventurers. When they see Tara, who is connected to me by a thread, they all look shocked and quickly run away. Tara is actually very gentle.
Some people try to bother us, but they either get a glare from Mr. Gensan or a cold smile from Lala and Mr. Romanov, and they run away.
There are also friendly people who say, "Be careful," so adventurers vary widely.
After a while, when our stomachs start to grumble, we reach the boundary between the beginner and intermediate layers of the dungeon, following the shortest route.
We decide to set up a barrier in an open area and have lunch.
As we search for a lunch spot deeper in, the thread connected to Tara twitches.
At the same time, Mr. Romanov and Lala, who were walking in front, stop abruptly.
"Alyosha, someone is fighting."
"…That’s strange, I sense the presence of a monster that shouldn’t be on this floor."
"Shouldn’t be on this floor…?"
"Yes. There are monsters we must fight on this floor, but there’s a stronger presence here…"
"Don’t worry, it’s not at a level that should scare you," Lala added, but it means there’s something stronger than the floor’s boss monster ahead.
While I turn pale, Regulus and Kousuke seem a bit excited, and Mr. Gensan and Mr. Utsunomiya don’t seem too concerned.
"Vitya, if you see any enemies, set up a barrier just in case. If the people fighting ahead are in danger, Lala and I will go."
"Got it~"
Such a casual response.
Well, it’s probably not a monster to be overly worried about.
The sound of metal clashing and the angry or desperate cries of a man gradually get closer.
Gradually, several figures and something rustling can be seen.
But the rustling sound is a bit like… something black and shiny that might fly, like a certain G.
Soon, a man being attacked seems to notice us and runs over, perhaps seeking help.
Behind him, chasing him, are what look like human-sized insects, and there are about ten of them.
The sheer creepiness makes me feel like I’m about to lose consciousness, even though I’m awake.
Suddenly, something flies from Regulus and Kousuke’s direction with a light pashu sound, and two of the large Gs, which were swarming, have their heads pierced and soon stop moving.
"Big brother’s dislikes, Re will make them go away!"
"Grandpa, you hit it!"
Looking left and right, Kousuke and Regulus are holding bows, ready to shoot more arrows.
I didn’t know my friends and little brother had become combatants.
Thank you for reading.
I would be grateful for your evaluations, impressions, and reviews.
I also write various activity reports, so please feel free to check them out.
