Since the day I decided to go to the new continent, I moved quickly.

I informed my comrades, the heroes, and prepared for the move.

The new continent is far away.

It takes over ten days to reach the port of the demon territory by land and sea, and from there, it takes several more days by sea.

While land travel is manageable, I can't bring large luggage on the ship.

However, I don't have many personal belongings to begin with.

As the baggage handler for the hero party, I have a "magic bag" that can hold a large amount of items.

I packed water, medicine, and food into the spacious "magic bag."

This is in case the ship encounters trouble.

Moreover, I don't know what will happen in the new continent. It's better to be prepared.

The day before we left the capital, the heroes threw me a farewell party.

Despite their busy schedules, they all gathered for me. I was very grateful.

As the party began, the warrior said,

"Theo is leaving for the new continent. I'll miss you."

The warrior is tall and incredibly muscular, with a width of about two people.

He started patting my shoulder hard.

"Ow, ow. You really have the strength of a horse."

"Whoops, sorry about that."

The warrior is as straightforward and open as he looks.

The mage watched this scene with a serious expression.

"…I'm worried about the future without Theo."

The usually small and quiet mage muttered.

"That won't happen. It's peaceful now."

"…Even if it's peaceful now, the future is uncertain."

"If something happens, we'll be fine because we're all here. I'm just the baggage handler."

"…Nice joke. Theo is funny."

The mage, with a straight face, said it was funny just with words.

We've known each other for a long time, but I've rarely seen the mage laugh.

"Yup. Without Theo, we might have been wiped out many times."

The hero started speaking very seriously.

"That's not true. You guys are much stronger."

"Negotiations with other races, navigating unknown routes, maintaining equipment. Theo's role is significant."

The healer also said such things. Even if it's flattery, it's nice to hear.

"Yup. We were able to make peace with the Demon King thanks to Theo's negotiation skills."

"…Not having to fight the dragons was also a big help."

While making peace with the Demon King is one thing, not having to fight the dragons was due to my Tame skill.

Even if I can't fully tame them, I can communicate with high-level monsters.

This skill helped us avoid strong enemies and preserve our strength.

I think I did a good job with that.

"I might go to the new continent with Theo."

"You have your duties as a hero, don't you?"

Not just the hero, but the warrior, mage, and healer are all busy.

They are all skilled, so they are in high demand.

"Sure, I'm busy, but most of the work can be done by anyone else."

"That's not true, right?"

"That's true…."

From there, the hero started complaining.

In summary, he is only being sought after for his title as a hero, not his abilities.

"If there was someone who looked exactly like me, they would only do the things that person could do!"

He is called to parties by nobles or appointed as the honorary president of some organization.

It seems to be all glamorous work.

"I want to swing my sword!"

The hero wants to fight powerful monsters that only he can defeat.

I can understand how he feels.

"…Be patient."

"People are reassured by seeing the hero."

The mage and healer tried to calm the hero down.

"I understand, I understand!"

The warrior patted the hero's shoulder hard.

"You understand?"

"Aye. I spend all my time training the knights, slaying monsters, and swinging my sword!"

"Huh? Why? That's unfair!"

"Maybe it's because the hero is more famous than a mere warrior?"

"That's unfair!"

"Hahaha!"

It seems the warrior was teasing the hero.

I decided to calm down the hero, who was breathing heavily in anger.

"If you get tired of your duties as a hero and reach your limit, you can come to the new continent."

"Really?"

"Sure. It might not be possible right away, but whenever you get tired."

"Okay!"

The farewell party continued into the night like this.

And the next day, I set out from the capital.
