Chapter 54: The Young Master

The sturdy man blocking Du Long's way was no simpleton. His name was Jiang Feiyun, and his father, Jiang Guoqiang, was the head of the Yuming City Audit Bureau, wielding the power to audit and supervise all local government departments and enterprises. Apart from the city and municipal committees, no local government or enterprise dared to treat him any less than a revered deity. Jiang Feiyun, however, was not focused on his studies but rather enjoyed martial arts. Therefore, Jiang Guoqiang had him placed in the urban management team, where he became the deputy captain of the Baihua District Urban Management Team.

Jiang Feiyun was no stranger to roughing up street vendors, and he never held back. Today, seeing Du Long in a police uniform, he slightly restrained himself, as they were both part of the system. However, upon hearing his leader's words, he sneered and threw a hook punch at Du Long's chin.

The young man's punches had some power, but it wasn't enough for Du Long. Du Long easily dodged the punch and, seeing the opponent's elbow in front of him, decided to try out the newly learned pulse-cutting technique. He grabbed the man's arm and, with his right hand in a plum blossom shape, struck the elbow, known as the "numbing tendon," with great force.

"Ah!" Jiang Feiyun cried out, feeling his entire right arm go numb. Du Long pulled him forward and quickly struck several more points on Jiang Feiyun's body. Another "Ah!" followed, and his left hand, which he had just raised, dropped limply. As he lifted his leg, Du Long had already moved behind him and struck the area three inches above his coccyx, causing Jiang Feiyun's legs to go numb, and he collapsed to the ground.

Jiang Feiyun's past victories had given Lin Kaitai full confidence in him, but he never expected him to be taken down so easily by Du Long. Du Long stepped over Jiang Feiyun's body and approached Lin Kaitai, who, in a panic, shouted, "What do you want? You dare to touch a single hair on me... Security, security, come quickly! A police officer is beating people! Come quickly!"

Du Long walked up to Lin Kaitai with a look of disdain and pushed him aside with his shoulder. Looking at Ji Yunsan, who was smiling, he asked, "What's going on? Why are you arguing with them?"

Ji Yunsan glared at Lin Kaitai and said, "It's all his fault, this scoundrel! Xiaolan has already said she doesn't like him, but he threatened to have her fired by the dean if she didn't comply. Yesterday, they tried to assault Xiaolan, but I stopped them. Today, he brought reinforcements and even tried to snatch her in public. Three men bullying a woman, they are utterly shameless!"

Hearing Ji Yunsan's words, Du Long's brow furrowed. He wasn't afraid of trouble, but he didn't want to cause unnecessary problems. The three men seemed to have some influence, and this situation was unlikely to end well.

Hearing Lin Kaitai's cries, the hospital security guards, who had been watching from the sidelines, rushed in. If the dean's son was beaten at the hospital entrance, they would lose their jobs.

"Doctor Lin, are you okay?" The security guards protected Lin Kaitai. Seeing Du Long in a police uniform, they didn't dare to attack him, unlike what they would do to an ordinary civilian.

Lin Kaitai, relieved, then realized how embarrassing his earlier behavior was. He pointed at Du Long in anger and shouted, "Beat him up! Beat him so badly his mother won't recognize him! I'll take responsibility for any trouble! Hurry up! Do you want to keep your jobs?"

The security guards reluctantly approached Du Long. Ji Yunsan called out, "What are you doing? Are you going to help the bad guys? Have you thought about the consequences?"

"The only possible consequence is that they will lose their jobs if they don't act, hehe. Ji Yunsan, if you want your boyfriend to be safe, you should dump him and be my girlfriend. I won't treat you badly; I promise I'm a hundred times better than this low-level auxiliary police officer. You have no future with him!"

"You... shameless!" Ji Yunsan's face turned pale with anger. Seeing the security guards getting too close, Du Long pushed Ji Yunsan behind him and said, "Yunsan, move back... Do you want to assault a police officer?"

The security guards hesitated, looking at each other, and dared not advance further. Jiang Feiyun, who had gotten up from the ground, his face purple with rage, roared, "He's just a low-level auxiliary police officer. Beating him is free. Attack!"

The security guards finally moved without hesitation towards Du Long. Du Long smiled coldly, feinted a retreat, and then suddenly charged forward. His first target was the most muscular security guard. The guard didn't expect Du Long to be so fast, and before he could react, Du Long was already in front of him. The guard's mind went blank, and instead of using his knee or fist, Du Long used the pulse-cutting technique, striking several points on the guard's shoulder and waist.

The guard didn't feel pain but suddenly felt numb in several places and then fell to the ground.

Seeing this, the other security guards roared in anger and continued to charge at Du Long. Du Long took the plastic riot stick from the fallen guard, dodging and blocking while counterattacking. Soon, all the security guards were on the ground.

The scene fell silent, with only the weak moans of the fallen security guards. Du Long casually threw the plastic riot stick to the ground and walked towards Lin Kaitai and Jiang Feiyun with a smile.

Jiang Feiyun, with a show of bravado but inwardly fearful, shouted, "Stop! Don't come any closer! What do you want? Don't do anything rash, we've already called the police!"

"Called the police?" Du Long sneered. "I'm going to report you for assaulting a police officer! Remember what I said earlier? Get out of here now! Never show your face in front of me again, or you'll regret it!"

Lin Kaitai retreated faster than Du Long's advancing steps. He pointed at Du Long and then at Ji Yunsan, saying, "Fine, I'll remember you. Ji Yunsan, you wait, you won't escape from my hands!"

Du Long's expression turned cold, and he took a quick step towards Lin Kaitai. Lin Kaitai, in a panic, almost fell over. Du Long grabbed him by the collar and pulled him close, less than five centimeters apart. Du Long's eyes locked onto Lin Kaitai's, and he said fiercely, "If you dare to come within three meters of my girlfriend, I'll make sure you can never be a man again! This is just a small warning!"

With that, Du Long used his right hand in a plum blossom shape and struck a point below Lin Kaitai's navel. Lin Kaitai immediately felt his entire lower abdomen and the area between his legs go numb, and he thought Du Long had really disabled him, causing him to let out a terrifying scream.

The sound of police sirens grew louder, and two police cars arrived at the hospital entrance. Several police officers jumped out and rushed towards Du Long, shouting, "Put your hands up! We are the police!"
