Chapter 56: The Unresolvable

After Director Wang hung up the phone, Xu Kui'an finally heaved a sigh of relief. Fortunately, he had acted quickly and hadn't handcuffed Du Long; otherwise, the situation would have been difficult to resolve.

After Lin Kaitai and the others were stuffed into the police car, Xu Kui'an dismissed the crowd and walked towards Du Long. Before he could speak, Du Long extended his hands and said, "Captain Xu, are you still going to arrest me?"

"Get on," Du Long patted the leather seat on the back. Ji Yunsan got on the bike, hugging Du Long's waist, and asked, "When did you buy this bike? Didn't your mother tell you to save the money for your future wife?"

Du Long drove the motorcycle out of the hospital and said with a smile, "I'll definitely be running around a lot in the future. I can't afford a car yet, so buying a motorcycle for transportation was inevitable. This bike only cost me 2,000 yuan, quite a good deal. Without it, I might not have been able to arrive in time to save the damsel in distress."

Ji Yunsan laughed lightly and said, "Where are you taking me? You're not going to eat at a street stall with such a cool bike, are you?"

Du Long rolled his eyes, unsure if she was innocent or just trying to provoke him. "Really Mayor Ma?" Ji Yunsan's eyes widened instantly... When Du Long called Ma Guangming, Ma Guangming was listening to Lu Hongguang's report. Lu Hongguang indicated that the people had been arrested and asked how to handle the situation.

Ma Guangming asked in detail about the incident and the injuries of those involved.
