Liu Maolin had prepared thoroughly for the police questioning, but he made a mistake from the very first step and was quickly exposed by the police within a meal's time.

Huang Jiehao handed the handcuffs to Du Long and said, "You found the first clue, so he's yours."

Du Long took the handcuffs, suppressing his excitement, and approached Liu Maolin, saying, "Liu Maolin, you are suspected of murdering your fellow townsman Song Xiaqing. With approval, I am now arresting you!"

Liu Maolin hung his head and extended his hands. Du Long skillfully put the handcuffs on him. With a click, everyone, including the hotel staff and the stranded guests, applauded.
