Chapter 32

Main vocalist, and Yoo Hyuk.

"I don't know, that guy is so annoying. I'm already irritated because of Sung Ji-won, and he's always picking fights…."

"Hey, what's up with Seo Ho-yoon and PD?"

"What do you mean?"

The person himself is here. Kim Hee-young looked at them with a frightening face.

"Even in the talent show and the special broadcast… the final stage has changed. I don't think their agency just threw money at them, do you?"

"That's not it."

"Then it's clear, right? Seo Ho-yoon is attached to PD. So, PD is covering for him."

"Oh… that makes sense, that's the answer."

Ding!

[Disgusting….]

Even the system sighed. Indeed, it's like that. When you're biased, you only see what you want to see, and you spout nonsense.

It wouldn't matter if one more dirty rumor was added to mine, but I was about to take a step forward, worried that it might affect Kim Hee-young.

"Interesting, huh?"

Just as I was about to turn around at the sound of her muttering, Kim Hee-young was faster.

Clang!

The sound of a bottle breaking. Kim Hee-young held a half-broken bottle in her hand. The main vocalist and Yoo Hyuk turned pale at the sight of the broken bottle.

"Hi."

Kim Hee-young smiled brightly.

'Not a pleasant greeting, I guess….'

"PD, PD!!"

Today was so flustered that he couldn't even greet. Kim Hee-young pressed the broken bottle against the wall and slowly dragged it.

Squeak!

A chilling sound echoed in the back alley, and the red light from the sign illuminated her left cheek, making her eyes look even more sinister.

The mad PD of this area had appeared.

"What are you talking about so amusingly…?"

"PD, PD."

"Can I join in, okay?"

Yoo Hyuk, regaining his composure, had a servile look on his face.

"We didn't mean it that way. Please calm down…."

"Calm down?"

"Yes, yes. So, could you, um, put that down…."

Kim Hee-young's smile deepened. Honestly, I was scared too.

"Do you know my nickname?"

"…!"

'If you don't know, you're a spy, sister.'

Today's face also turned pale, as if he knew. Kim Hee-young hummed in a refined tone.

"I'm the crazy woman of tvK Broadcasting. Do you know why I got that nickname?"

"Ah, no, no."

"When I was called to a drinking party, the main CP pretended to touch my junior…."

It was a story I had heard many times through rumors, but it was the first time I heard it from Kim Hee-young. She continued without even noticing me.

"So! What did I do? I poured soju on CP's head to wake him up. When he asked what I was doing, I threw a bowl of rice at his face."

"PD… PD."

"Then he threatened to fire me, so I went to the deputy manager and told him. He told me to endure it. So, I went to the manager. He also told me to endure it. So, I went to the director and told him."

It was a famous line that had spread secretly among the broadcasting stations. Even I, standing behind, slowly recited the line.

'If you don't deal with this pervert soon…'

"If you don't deal with this pervert soon…."

Swallow.

Today gulped hard.

"-He'll end up as a dead body on the 9 o'clock news tomorrow."

Click!

Honestly, I was so impressed by the story that my heart raced.

"Eventually, he was fired~. Hahaha!"

She chuckled and cracked her neck.

"How about it? Should we release one more breaking news?"

"…I'm sorry!!"

"I'm sorry!!"

Today bowed deeply and quickly left. It was as if he had encountered a notorious murderer.

I, too, found the situation exciting and enjoyable, but I was also worried about being alone with an excited Kim Hee-young.

'Should I run away too….'

"Seo Ho-yoon."

"Y-Yes!"

I put my hands together respectfully. Kim Hee-young clicked her tongue, still looking displeased.

"Don't hang out with those kinds of people. It's only harmful."

"Yes, I'll stay away from them."

"Good, that's a relief. Damn."

I carefully took the bottle from Kim Hee-young's hand.

"Ah! What a pain!!"

I checked if she was hurt and carefully threw the bottle into the nearby trash can. Kim Hee-young narrowed her eyes and looked at me.

"Seo Ho-yoon. I'll be honest with you."

"Yes."

"Those guys who are acting all high and mighty will be number one. It's already decided. I'm telling you this because my conscience is pricking me. So, Seo Ho-yoon, don't try too hard and just aim for second place. That way, you'll gain recognition…."

"Yes, I know."

"At least it'll be better… Wait, you know?"

I nodded silently. Kim Hee-young's face turned pale, and she clenched her jaw.

"Where did you hear that from?"

"Since the ground is so narrow."

"No, when did you find out?"

"From the beginning."

"But did you write them as number one in the expected rankings? Are you crazy?"

No, I'm not crazy.

I shook my hands and looked at Kim Hee-young. She seemed to be trying to figure out if I was crazy or not.

"I told you, PD."

It's fine, even if I'm treated poorly, I'm fine. I smiled faintly.

"I will be number one."

I will make it happen.

"To do that, I need a little help from you, PD."

"…What? Hey, I told you. I can't do that. I don't have the authority."

"You will soon."

"…."

"Soon, very soon."

There was no point in talking more.

I greeted Kim Hee-young and returned to the store. Jung Da-jun greeted me with a face that showed he knew nothing.

"Bro!"

"Uh-huh."

"Where were you? I looked for you for a while."

Members who know nothing.

Honestly, I feel sorry.

"Did you look for me?"

But I hid my true feelings and smiled widely.

"…What, what? That sweet tone. I feel bad…."

I ignored the trembling Jung Da-jun.

*** [The Dun 'Shining Star' appearance… Will they clash with Today?]

[The Dun vs Today, what will be the result?]

"Damn, why are these bastards causing trouble again."

Today, the office worker who had been harassed by their boss, was extremely fierce. 'I'll kill anyone who messes with me,' that was the look on the face of the fan who was comforted only by The Dun, who had become a regular since last time.

'What is this guy? A madman… but he's handsome….'

The fan, who had been saving the preview clip of Seo Ho-yoon's Shining Star attendance with tears, became angry after reading an article.

"What if they clash with Today? Their fandom is really extreme!"

Honestly, Today was more popular than The Dun. But to the fan, Today's personality was terrible.

Already, the 'Oh, really?' eye-rolling clips from the fan signing event were circulating, but the fans were ignoring it.

'The Dun is much better looking!'

I want to see the king, so hold a fan meeting! I'm ready to offer money! Why am I working so hard to earn money now! The reason I nod and agree to my boss's requests to send materials after work is to offer my bank account to The Dun.

Grinding my teeth, I ignored all the provocations. At that moment, my timeline was in chaos. As I checked what was happening, I jumped up from my seat.

[The Dun ? Like Girls Want You]

"Pre-release?!"

Shining Star had released a pre-release. The 3-minute stage was condensed into a video less than a minute long.

The fan took a deep breath and pressed the play button.

[My fellow pirates, this is our show time!]

The opening was done by Kang Eun-jae.

"Ah, Kang Eun-jae, really…!"

My heart tightened. Pirate costumes, really, K-pop this year is completely dominated by The Dun.

While the office worker was clutching their heart, the ticking of a clock and Seo Ho-yoon turning his head slightly were visible.

[Hello, let's greet each other again]

"Aaaah! Ho-yoon!"

My heart aches, sob.

Seo Ho-yoon, whether he knew the fan's feelings or not, was very relaxed. He approached, swaying, and smiled.

[You're trembling, I know. You're destined to come to me anyway]

"Ho-yoon, I'm coming… I'm coming…."

[But don't make me wait too long]

"I'm coming right now!!"

While I was making a fuss and getting my wallet, the short 45-second pre-release ended.

The office worker, still feeling the lingering emotion, shed tears and stared at the black screen for a long time. The community was already in chaos.

[What, did I hear it right? Like Girls Want You?]

[Is this guy crazy??? So different, completely fresh and lively, but a bit bland. This is too spicy, a strong pirate who is weak inside, my tongue is burning]

[No, it's a fairy tale concept, guys… I was disappointed with the Peter Pan concept, but they brought the pirate concept. They're telling Peter Pan not to go, right??? I won't go, it's possible]
