Liu Daxing was very familiar with Wuhe Township. Although Yang Jie had written down many ingredients, it only took him a little over two hours to prepare everything, and the amount of ingredients he prepared was not small.

What interested Liu Daxing the most was the aphrodisiac wine. As he grew older, he increasingly felt powerless in that area. After experiencing the effectiveness of the hangover remedy, Liu Daxing was extremely eager for the aphrodisiac wine that Yang Jie mentioned.

Yang Jie was inspecting the various workshops of the winery with Jimmy. Seeing that Liu Daxing had returned, he had the ingredients sent to the winery's technical room, which was the laboratory for developing new varieties of wine, equipped with all kinds of blending and mixing tools.

Near Wuhe Township, there was a mountain town with hot springs. Yang Jie asked Secretary Lei's driver to take Jimmy to the mountain town to soak in the hot springs. Liu Daxing, having nothing to do, also insisted on accompanying Jimmy. Yang Jie had no choice but to let Liu Daxing go with Jimmy.

Since Yang Jie needed to use the technical room, Wang Guixi had the staff in the technical room finish their work early. After the technical room was left to Yang Jie alone, he quickly sorted the ingredients that Liu Daxing had bought, using a scale to prepare the necessary ingredients for the functional wine under the guidance of Xiao Wu.

The ingredients for the aphrodisiac wine and the blood pressure-lowering wine were different. In the future, these two types of functional wine would be produced in a sterile workshop using high-tech production lines. However, for the first generation of these two functional wines, the requirements were not so strict. Since Yang Jie was making samples, he did not pay much attention to the details.

The Chinese herbs needed to be ground into powder, and then different agents were added to mix them. After the required herbs and roots were ground into powder, Yang Jie poured the powder into two 1000 ml beakers, added mountain spring water, and heated them to boil the herbs.

Soon, the beakers emitted a strong herbal smell. Yang Jie watched the time and, after the water had boiled for twenty minutes, turned off the heat. He filtered the herbal liquid through ten layers of gauze to remove the residue and poured it into a measuring cylinder. Then, he used two 500 ml beakers to add water and chemical agents, and heated them.

After the chemical agents were heated for ten minutes and completely dissolved in the mountain spring water, Yang Jie, wearing asbestos gloves, carefully held the beakers and, according to the amount of herbal liquid in the measuring cylinder, poured the appropriate amount of chemical solution.

The originally golden herbal liquid quickly underwent a chemical reaction when the chemical solution was added, just like bleach entering murky water, rapidly clarifying the herbal liquid in the measuring cylinder, making the liquid transparent.

After completing everything, Yang Jie took out two 10 kg transparent glass bottles from the technical room, poured 56-degree Wuhe grain wine into them, leaving about one liter of space, and then poured the prepared herbal liquid into the large bottles.

After pouring the herbal liquid for both types of functional wine into the large bottles, Yang Jie sealed the bottles and used white adhesive labels to write the names on them, marking them. He then noted the time when the wine was prepared.

By dinner time, Jimmy and Liu Daxing had returned from the mountain town. Seeing the two middle-aged men, who could not understand each other, hugging each other and looking very familiar, Yang Jie felt a bit strange.

Looking at the driver with a strange expression, Yang Jie suddenly thought of something. After the hot spring industry in the mountain town developed, due to its proximity to National Highway 137, many long-distance drivers liked to stop and rest in the mountain town, which led to the emergence of a special service industry. There were no fewer than 500 prostitutes in the mountain town. Judging from the appearance of Jimmy and Liu Daxing, they probably had some secrets they couldn't talk about.

"Xiaojie, have you made the medicinal wine? Can we try it tonight?" Liu Daxing asked as soon as he entered the house, shouting at Yang Jie, who was sitting on the sofa watching TV.

Yang Jie looked at the time. It had been five hours since he prepared the functional wine, and the herbal liquid had completely dissolved into the wine. "Although it's not quite ready, this is just a sample, so it should be fine. Have someone go to the technical room and bring the two large bottles over!"

There were still many ingredients left, and Yang Jie did not waste them. He packed them and put them in Yang Xinhua's dormitory at the winery, so they could save time buying ingredients next time.

Hearing that the medicinal wine was ready, Liu Daxing's face lit up with excitement. Without speaking to Jimmy, he just pulled Jimmy's hand and gave him a meaningful look. Jimmy understood and the two of them went to the technical room with smiles.

Soon, Liu Daxing and Jimmy, each carrying a large bottle, walked into Yang Xinhua's office.

"Guixi, go get two wine dispensers and twenty 500 ml empty bottles to the office," Yang Xinhua said to Wang Guixi, who was standing outside the door, after they put down the large bottles.

Looking at the two bottles of medicinal wine, which looked no different from ordinary white wine, Liu Daxing circled around the large bottles a few times and asked Yang Jie, "Xiaojie, are these the medicinal wines you made? Can they really enhance virility and lower blood pressure?"

"Uncle, you'll know after you try them. But don't let my mom know about your trip to the mountain town!" Yang Jie teased Liu Daxing with a smile, making Liu Daxing very embarrassed. Seeing Yang Xinhua, who was sitting on the side with a serious expression, Liu Daxing felt guilty and awkwardly smiled, then glared at Yang Jie.

Wang Guixi was quick, and the wine dispensers and empty bottles were soon delivered to the office. Yang Jie took the wine dispensers, inserted them into the reserved sealing holes in the large bottles, and poured the wine into the small bottles by squeezing the dispensers.

The twenty 500 ml empty bottles were just enough to hold ten bottles of each type of medicinal wine. Liu Daxing used adhesive labels to mark the bottles and then placed the remaining half of the herbal liquid in the two large bottles in a corner of Yang Xinhua's office.

"Jimmy, can we send two bottles of these functional wines to the county? Loren has high blood pressure, and Jameson is not doing well in that area. I want them to try them out," Jimmy, being a foreign businessman, knew that Yang Jie would not dare to give the wine to Jameson if he wasn't confident. He also wanted to confirm whether these medicinal wines were effective.

"Sure, we can have Secretary Lei's driver deliver the wine to the county right away," Yang Jie nodded with a smile, taking two bottles of each type of functional wine from the table and putting them in different colored plastic bags. "But these wines haven't been diluted, so the effects might be strong. Don't drink too much, no more than one bottle a day."

Jimmy nodded and wrote down the effects and instructions for the two wines on a piece of paper before asking Yang Jie to arrange for the driver to deliver them to Loren and Jameson in the county.

Dinner was held at Yang Jie's house. Liu Daxing still had two hangover remedies, and he and Yang Xinhua each took one before the meal. Therefore, when drinking with Jimmy, they were very bold. The group took turns toasting Jimmy, and the wine-loving Jimmy drank heartily, eventually getting drunk again.

"Ring, ring, ring..."

The shrill phone rang in the middle of the night at Yang Xinhua's house. Yang Xinhua, who had drunk a lot, struggled to pick up the phone on the bedside table.

"What! Alright, I'll have Yang Jie go back to the county right away!" After listening to the person on the other end, Yang Xinhua rubbed his temples, feeling both amused and frustrated. He had also drunk a lot from drinking with Jimmy, and if it weren't for the hangover remedy, he would have been unconscious long ago.

"Xiaojie, Xiaojie!" Yang Xinhua, leaning on his cane, walked out of the bedroom and knocked on Yang Jie's door.

"Dad, who called? What happened?" Yang Jie also heard the phone ring in the living room. Seeing that Yang Xinhua was up so late to call him, he knew something important must have happened.

"It was a call from Director Chen of the County Party Committee Office. It's all because of your aphrodisiac wine. One of the foreigners who came to inspect with Jimmy drank the aphrodisiac wine and couldn't resist going to a prostitute at night. He was caught by the police during a raid and is now being held by the Public Security Bureau. The old leader asked Director Chen to call you and have you go back to the county to handle the matter discreetly," Yang Xinhua complained to Yang Jie.

"Jameson couldn't resist going to a prostitute at night and got caught? What's going on? Didn't the county arrange for someone to take care of them? How could this happen?" Yang Jie laughed, not taking the matter seriously at all.

"Stop dilly-dallying. Director Chen has already sent a car to pick you up. This matter must be resolved quickly. Secretary Zhou is furious, and County Chief Zhang is using this to question the County Party Committee Office's inefficiency. He said that if Jimmy and the others don't invest in the county, the County Party Committee Office will bear the main responsibility," Yang Xinhua said, although he was not in the county, he knew that Zhou Dalong and Zhang Daxian were at odds.

Hearing this, Yang Jie's expression suddenly turned serious. It was Zhang Daxian again. He suspected that Zhang Daxian's hand was behind Jameson's arrest. Wuhe County rarely had foreigners, and the police had been notified in advance about Jimmy's inspection visit, so they had already carried out a security cleanup. It was unlikely that Jameson would be caught during a raid.
