It turned out he was discovered!

Mosun's face was flushed with shame and anger. Not long after Lu Ping and Su Tang left, he quietly followed them, intending to gather information about Lu Ping's movements to find an opportunity to act.

But now, before he could even gather any information, he was discovered, and by this waste of a person.

Mosun's old face turned bright red. He had originally thought that although he was a gardener, dealing with such a waste of a person wouldn't take much effort. Now it seemed that he was indeed very unprofessional at activities like tailing and eavesdropping.

He really wanted to take action right away!

Looking at the annoying smile peeking out of the window, Mosun really wanted to crush his head.

But he couldn't.

After all, he was a mentor, and Lu Ping was still a student at Zhaifeng Academy. More importantly, he was doing this to clear the way for Su Tang, and he didn't want to leave such a shadow in Su Tang's heart. The best outcome would be an accident.

How could he make it look like an accident?

Mosun immediately had a new worry. He realized that this was not as simple as he had thought. As a gardener, he had no idea how to create an accident to kill someone.

"Teacher Mosun." Just as he was lost in thought, a voice called out his name from the window in front.

Oh!

Mosun's face turned even redder. He had actually been distracted, actually daydreaming. If Lu Ping were a real enemy or opponent, he would have died many times over.

The voice came from the front. Mosun looked ahead and saw Luo Wei leaning out of the window, looking puzzled.

"Oh, it's Teacher Luo Wei!" Mosun suddenly felt relieved.

No wonder! He thought.

Luo Wei, like him, was a Spirit of Rushing Through, but the skills they ultimately cultivated were different. His skill, called Inspection, allowed him to see some vital signs inside living beings. So he could see that although the fire lily's flower buds were trampled, its internal growth system was not damaged, and he could also see the powerful Spirit of Force that Su Tang had broken through to the Sixth Heaven realm.

Luo Wei's skill was called X-ray Vision, so it was not hard to understand why he was discovered outside: Luo Wei had used his X-ray Vision and found him. Lu Ping, who was right next to the window, naturally poked his head out to look.

"Teacher Mosun, is there something you need?" Luo Wei's face was full of confusion, puzzled by Mosun's earlier panic and embarrassment.

"Nothing, just passing by. I'm heading to... um... that way..." Mosun was not an assassin, not a tracker, and certainly not a master liar. He had intended to make up a destination, but his mind went blank as he spoke, and in the familiar Zhaifeng Academy, he couldn't even come up with a place name when he needed to lie.

"Oh, take your time..." Luo Wei still looked puzzled, but he trusted Mosun very much. There must be a reason, he thought. I'll ask him later when there's a chance.

"Goodbye, Teacher Mosun." Lu Ping also said goodbye to Mosun.

"Sure, see you later." Mosun coolly replied, hands behind his back, pretending to walk away calmly.

"We'll continue the class." Luo Wei returned to the podium, temporarily putting aside thoughts of Mosun. But Lu Ping was still leaning out of the window, watching Mosun's awkward attempt to walk quickly without looking too fast, and his hesitation to turn back for fear of looking unnatural. He couldn't help but laugh out loud.

"Lu Ping, what are you laughing at?" Luo Wei, who had just started speaking again, was interrupted and could no longer hold back. He called out the name he didn't want to deal with.

"Sorry, please continue." Lu Ping quickly composed himself.

But the other students were not happy. They had been eagerly waiting for the mentor to teach new content, and they were full of anticipation, only to be interrupted twice by this waste of a person.

"Those who don't want to listen, please leave. Don't waste everyone's time!" Bo Yong, the best student in the first year, stood up and spoke. His tone wasn't too harsh, after all, he didn't want to look like a villain in front of the mentor and so many classmates, but his look of disdain and contempt was not hidden.

"Right, please leave." Another student stood up.

"Leave."

"Don't disturb us!"

"Get lost!"

The voices grew louder and more impolite, and even those who initially had some different opinions eventually dared not say anything.

Luo Wei couldn't stand by any longer, though he also disliked Lu Ping, he felt he should give him another chance as a mentor. Though he thought it was unnecessary, it was his duty.

But before Luo Wei could speak, Lu Ping had already stood up.

The classroom suddenly became quiet, and an uncomfortable feeling washed over everyone. Many people's gazes involuntarily moved away from Lu Ping.

"Are you talking about me?" Lu Ping asked, his tone calm. But the crowd, which had just been riled up, did not answer. Each person, seemingly intentionally or unintentionally, chose to avoid the question, hoping someone else would speak up.

Silence lasted for a full second.

"Yes!" Finally, someone responded. Bo Yong, the best student in the first year, took up Lu Ping's question, and everyone instantly felt a sense of relief.

Under everyone's gaze, Bo Yong felt a sense of pride as if he were saving the world. He had forgotten that all he did was answer a super simple question. He didn't even notice that when he answered, his right hand unconsciously rested on the table behind him.

He glared at Lu Ping, but Lu Ping suddenly smiled and nodded.

"Alright." He said.

Then he put his hand on the windowsill and flipped out.

Was he really just going to leave like that?

The students were stunned for a moment. They had expected Lu Ping to lose his temper and spout a lot of harsh words after being so disdained. But he just left through the window, looking dejected?

"Really a waste of a person." Someone muttered.

"Right, no backbone at all."

"Cowardly turtle."

"Coward."

The voices grew louder, all mocking Lu Ping, mocking him with great satisfaction. Clearly, they had already made up their minds about Lu Ping, and whatever he did would be equated with the behavior of a waste of a person.

Luo Wei, however, was still in a daze, not saying anything.

What was that feeling?

For the students, it was just an uncomfortable, uneasy feeling. But for him, though brief, it was a sense of pressure.

Where did it come from? Lu Ping?

Luo Wei didn't have time to fully understand, but the feeling had already disappeared.

The students were still discussing and mocking Lu Ping. Luo Wei walked to the window again and looked out. He saw Lu Ping walking alone on the road. He tried to focus, but he didn't sense anything unusual.

Was someone passing by? Or someone in the classroom upstairs?

Luo Wei looked around and then looked up at the second and third floors, but found nothing.
