“Are you going to stay standing?”
“No, I’m not.”
“Come this way then.”
“….”
Meriel tapped the seat next to her.
Klaus moved his squeaky body as naturally as he could and sat next to her seat.
“No, this way.” she insisted.
“It’s all right here.”
“What are you going to do sitting so far away?” she asked patiently.
“What exactly do you mean?”
“Do I really have to say it?”
Meriel cocked her head once more. Her hair slid down her back, unadorned. Klaus’s gaze was drawn to the flowing hair. He didn’t notice where his eyes were looking until the tip of her short hair fell along her collarbone.
“Oh, are we going to do it right now?”
“No!” he exclaimed angrily.
“It’s fine.”
“Why are you so relaxed about it?!”
“What?”
“It’s so simple to……with permission……Is that okay with you?”
“What……?”
“How come you’re so used to this?”
He’s so nervous that he can’t breathe. Meriel opened her eyes wide when Klaus yelled as if he was innocent.
She then smirked and laughed. Meriel narrowed the gap as he turned his head and swept his hair back in shame of himself for shouting.
“Klaus.”
When Meriel called Klaus’ name, his body flinched automatically.
He averted his gaze from her.
He was surprised when he felt a hand cover his hand.
“Princess?”
“I, too, am nervous.”
She then took his hand in hers and placed it against her chest.
“Princess!”
When he tried to pull out his hand, she took it and placed it on her left chest, saying,
“I don’t mind. Look at this.”
“…..”
“Do you feel like you’re running nervously?”
He could feel her pounding heart, which beats many times faster than his. Klaus closed his eyes because he was dizzy. He was struggling to take a breath. Just around the corner, her hot breath was about to hit him.
“Please let go of my hand.”
“Klaus.”
“Princess.”
“The sun isn’t shining right now because you avoided it. Isn’t that correct?”
‘How can you say such a thing?’
Klaus swallowed the words that he couldn’t say.
With the silky feel of his fingertips, he could feel her soft and supple breasts. The feel of his palms revealed the presence of her breasts. Strength entered as Meriel’s hand wrapped around the back of his hand.
A moan that had been suppressed escaped. Why does it feel like it’s right next to his skin?
He didn’t feel any underwear obstructing him.
He licked his lips as he stared at her, perplexed.
She looks like the she-evil, the most wicked woman in the world, with her eyes lowered and the corners of her mouth raised.
“I believe it will be difficult to remove,” she said slowly.
Klaus’s dizzying sensations and complicated mind turned white. Her temptation reawakened his dormant instinct.
“You must accept responsibility for encouraging me.”
His voice was harsh, like a monster’s cry.
Meriel looked up at Klaus, who was growling like a wild beast. His deep sunken blue eyes were like the depths of the sea.
He pressed her shoulders against the bed, as if he was about to rush away. Despite lying down, he continued to stare at her without saying anything. She thought he was cute despite her efforts to encourage him, but he was patient with her.
‘It doesn’t matter if it’s you.’ she thought to herself.
Meriel wasn’t the only one who was nervous. When she was Doyeon, she had no experience.
She had no more experience after becoming Meriel.
In this world, having the experience she did before becoming an adult was not a bad thing. Aristocratic women and men had a free love affair, which was taken for granted, and this was especially true for those who had been engaged since childhood.
When looking at it that way, she and Klaus were exceptions to the rule. Because she lacked the necessary experience to become an adult.
‘How pathetic’
Despite the fact that she didn’t know much about men, his demeanor was that of a novice. His face flushed and his eyes fluttered violently just by touching her breast. Meriel finds his reaction endearing. Enough to keep the tremors of the first experience at bay.
“Do we have to wait any longer?”
It was impolite to say such a thing to someone who was attempting to restrain himself. Looking at him, who is at a loss for what to do.
“Stop and be quiet,” he warned.
Klaus inhaled deeply.
A scalding heat touched Meriel’s brow. The soft, hot kiss of his lips ran down her brow. His trembling hand ran down her arm and down her shoulder.
“Ah…”
As he bit her earlobe, a moan escaped her mouth. Klaus’s hand grew impatient as she became even hotter. Meriel pushed her hand through his robe, which was half-naked.
“Ohh…”
Her slightly cold hand touched him, and he took a deep breath despite his scorching heat. Meriel burst out laughing at the sound of his sigh in her ear.
“Meriel…please.”
Klaus mumbled a pleading.
He called her princess at times and Meriel at others, and his pronouns were erratic.
Meriel slowly wrapped her arms around his neck. Meriel let out a hot breath between her lips as she felt him make his presence known.
His gentle touch ran down her neckline and brushed against her collarbone.
The negligee, which was dazzlingly wrapped around her with strings, was violently thrown under the bed.
“Ugh!”
His breath was so hot that it took her breath away, as if it swallowed her heart, and Meriel raised her fingers. His strange sensation, which she felt for the first time in her life, made the relaxation she had shown so far vanish instantly. It was such a natural flow that she wondered if it was the first time.
His touch made her skin tingle, and her lips tickled smoothly.
“Ah… Klaus.”
He’s Klaus, he’s Klaus. She would agree to anything.
Some questions arose, but no answers were forthcoming. The image he displayed as Kiyan was unique, and the image he displayed as the Grand Duke made everyone’s hearts melt. It wasn’t love, but he gave her a reason to live. As Meriel believed.
On a warm spring morning, she could give him her all while receiving his all. It was warm, but hot enough to burn; it was painful, but ecstatic enough to give her a rush.
Her head was paralyzed by the joy and rich emotions she felt from him.
Who was the pitiful person he occasionally acted towards?
‘His feelings of coveting and wanting me are not imaginary. Then why was he so sad when he stared at me?’
“Meriel…Meriel.”
His voice calling out to her was excruciatingly painful.
Even though he was out of breath, he called her name.
Just like a fated couple who can’t stop loving each other.
She could feel his sweat as she clung to his waist.
“Hush..!”
Tears welled up as a result of the agonizing pain.
Klaus hasn’t left her yet.
He laid his body over hers, feeling him in her.
He’s been kissing the corners of her eyes, which are welling up with tears.
It was a kiss so delicate that she was afraid it would break.
“…..”
“…..”
There was no dialogue.
With a heavy breath, they looked into each other’s eyes.
Her red eyes appeared to be trying to keep a tear from falling.
“Your everything,” he said huskily.
“…..”
“I’ll treasure it.”
His words sounded almost like a love confession.
He who had been occupying her body began to emerge. She was overcome with sadness as well as pain. She could feel something damp wet the bed, but she couldn’t move.
He reapplied the robe he had removed, wiping his sweat-drenched hair.
Meriel’s body was paralyzed, and she couldn’t move a single finger. He gave her that expression before slipping his hand between her neck and knee and carrying her.
“If you are embarrassed, please be patient. The maids will arrive first thing in the morning.”
The voice that emerged from between the lips cracked on its own. They walked out of the bedroom and into the bathroom.
All of the preparations for the first night had been completed in the bedroom. The Grand Duke’s maids even prepared hot water for the bath.
‘When did they think it would be over when they prepared it?’
She entered the large bathtub cautiously, thinking in vain. The bathtub could fit ten people.
She assumed that this would suffice to classify it as a large public bath.
It was a bath she’d used many times before, but it didn’t feel the same as it did back then.
Because she was no longer alone, she was in Klaus’ arms.
“Does it hurt?”
“Why are you asking the obvious?” she retorted, irritated.
“I’m sorry.”
“What is the point of apologizing for the obvious?”
Meriel was sweating profusely and ruffled his silvery hair, which slid across his face. The pain increased as hot water wrapped around her body, but she was able to bear it. His face approached strangely, his eyes closed, as if he sensed her hand brushing his hair.
The deep scar on his left eye didn’t make him feel ferocious. The pattern from his left shoulder to the back of his hand didn’t appear to be frightening. Meriel lowered her hand and wrapped it around her cheek.
“I’m not sorry for you anymore.”
“Could you please keep your mouth shut?”
“I’m embarrassed.”
“Then just remain motionless.”
“It’s more embarrassing if I don’t move.”
“It’s preferable to talking like that.”
“Klaus.”
“…..”
“Did you enjoy it?”
“Meriel!” Klaus yelled.
The red earlobes made it look like a smile, possibly because of the fever from the hot water. She giggled as she rested her chin on his chest. Her head sagged with a sigh.
Meriel blinked her eyes open as she inhaled the scent of her herbs, which relieved her tiredness. Her sleepiness overtook her all of a sudden.
Maybe it was because their workouts were difficult and unfamiliar to her.
Meriel fell asleep in Klaus’ arms, letting go of her shame.
She could hear his deep sigh before falling into a deep sleep, unable to overcome her exhaustion. She could feel the movement lifting her up as well, but Meriel succumbed to her unbearable drowsiness.
Translator’s Note:
Please accept my apologies for the late posting. This chapter is significantly longer than the others (I actually thinking of cutting it in half but, as a reader myself, I would definitely hate that).
It also took me some time to translate this (like the prologue ) because these types of scenes are not my strong suit. (Perhaps as my next project, I’ll look for a rated19 k-novel to train myself for this type of scene.). LOL
I’d like to express my gratitude to winkie for sponsoring this chapter. Thank you very much for the ko-fi.
Enjoy reading!
