[Jiran, would you mind accompanying me to the amusement park? It’s long since I went there.]

The cursor flashed on and off. Gu Yeyu was hesitant about sending this message to Chu Jiran.

She hated to accept the fact that Chu Jiran would get married. It was the best excuse she could figure out to ask him out.

‘Wow! Is it from Jiran?’

‘Great!’ Gu Yeyu went into ecstasies, running around the room wildly. Even if the room was made a mess, she didn’t give a damn.

She laughed herself silly. Gu Yeyu felt herself full of vitality to try all the games in the park.

Chu Jiran quietly stood behind her. Her laughter would remain in his memory forever.

Panting from her exertions, Gu Yeyu sat on the bench for a rest, when Chu Jiran took a bottle of Coke over.

He rubbed the bottle against Gu Yeyu’s face.

“Ouch,” Gu Yeyu take a deep breath. The cold feeling startled her.

“What are you doing?”

“You naughty bro!”

Chu Jiran didn’t take her complaining tone to heart. He glanced around and asked, “It’s too late. You want to continue?”

Gu Yeyu looked up at the sky. The sun sank below the horizon, and it got much cooler now.

It was indeed late.

Gu Yeyu was reluctant to leave. ‘Why time passed so fast? Well, what’s that?’

A sly smile flickered across Gu Yeyu’s face as something interesting greeted her. She made up her mind about what to play next.

Gu Yeyu pointed her finger at something not far from them, saying, “Why don’t we go to the haunted house?”

“It’s getting dark. A good time to experience the haunted house, isn’t it?”

He just wanted to make her happy.

They walked into the haunted house, looking around the ghastly and scary scene. Gu Yeyu’s eyes shone with excitement.
