Chapter 83

The technique of Palm Heart Thunder is a bit more complex than the Qi Observation Technique.

The circulation route of Qi runs from the dantian, chest, and abdomen to the arms and palms, involving many meridians, but it is much simpler compared to the Small Circulation.

With the technique and the circulation route diagram, Su Xiaofan quickly memorized them. Most of the meridians are included in the Small and Large Circulation techniques, and only a few meridians in the palms need to be unblocked.

With his master by his side, Su Xiaofan could also receive guidance during his cultivation, so he sat down cross-legged and began to circulate his Qi.

He took a deep breath, drawing it into his dantian, and then circulated his true Qi through the meridians according to the technique.

The hands are the most frequently used parts of the body, so unblocking the meridians was not very difficult. In just a few minutes, Su Xiaofan had already completed one full cycle of the Palm Heart Thunder technique.

"Hmm? Why can't I release the true Qi?"

Su Xiaofan found that when the true Qi reached his palms, it should be able to be released according to the technique.

However, he felt that the true Qi had already reached its limit by the time it reached his palms. No matter how he tried to stimulate it, he couldn't release the true Qi from his palms.

[Repair Value: 46 points!]

[The Palm Heart Thunder technique can be nurtured, requiring 30 points of repair value. Do you want to nurture it?]

While Su Xiaofan was struggling with the true Qi in his palms, the information about the repair value suddenly appeared in his mind.

"Does it cost 30 points of repair value to nurture this technique?" Su Xiaofan was a bit hesitant. After some thought, he temporarily declined.

It wasn't that Su Xiaofan was unwilling to spend the 30 points of repair value, but during the nurturing period, he would be unable to move. If another 24 hours passed, he wouldn't be able to go to Fengmen Village the next day.

"Last time, nurturing the Small Circulation technique cost 50 points of repair value and took 24 hours. Nurturing the Palm Heart Thunder only requires 30 points of repair value. Could the time be reduced as well?"

Su Xiaofan pondered in his mind. Before confirming the nurturing, he couldn't determine the required time, but based on his experience, it might not take 24 hours to complete the nurturing.

"Trying to run before you can walk?"

Just as Su Xiaofan was considering whether to start the nurturing, he heard Jing Shizhen's voice.

If there was something he didn't understand, he naturally had to ask. Su Xiaofan opened his eyes and asked, "Master, why can't I release the true Qi when it reaches my palms?"

"You need to practice the technique until you can control the true Qi as easily as moving your fingers. Don't be too ambitious right now."

Jing Shizhen rarely taught his disciple, and his expression was very serious. Since taking on this disciple, he had never felt the satisfaction of teaching a student.

"Master, I understand."

Su Xiaofan said with curiosity, "Master, can you show me the Palm Heart Thunder?"

"Sure, watch carefully!"

Jing Shizhen nodded, stood up, and looked around. He took a deep breath, raised his right hand to his chest, and after about two seconds, suddenly pushed it forward.

With a "bang," a vase about five meters in front of Jing Shizhen exploded.

Jing Shizhen's face turned slightly red, and he slowly lowered his right hand, saying proudly, "Did you see that? That's the Palm Heart Thunder!"

"Master, that's amazing!"

Su Xiaofan was almost mesmerized. This technique was incredible; a single palm strike was like a thunderclap, capable of shattering a vase from a distance. No wonder it's called Palm Heart Thunder.

After giving a thumbs-up, Su Xiaofan looked at the shattered porcelain on the ground and said, "Master, do we have to pay for the vase?"

"It's not your master who has to pay."

Jing Shizhen glared at Su Xiaofan, then continued, "You only praised me for a moment, and it lacked sincerity."

"Master, how long did it take you to master the Palm Heart Thunder?"

While running the Palm Heart Thunder technique, Su Xiaofan asked.

Unlike the Small and Large Circulation techniques, the Palm Heart Thunder technique wouldn't cause the true Qi to go astray and harm the body.

Of course, to release the Palm Heart Thunder, one still needs to focus and concentrate to stimulate the true Qi. Su Xiaofan clearly couldn't do it.

"Talk when you talk, practice when you practice. Don't be distracted."

Jing Shizhen disapproved of Su Xiaofan's behavior and ignored his question. He wouldn't tell him that it took him three months to master the Palm Heart Thunder.

A "puff" sound was heard.

"Did you fart?" Jing Shizhen looked at Su Xiaofan sideways.

"Master, it... it's the Palm Heart Thunder." Su Xiaofan's face was full of shame.

When Master released the Palm Heart Thunder, it was so powerful, like a thunderclap. His own... it was more like a "Palm Heart Fart."

"Palm... Palm Heart Thunder?"

Jing Shizhen was taken aback. It took him over a month to make the true Qi leave his body, and after three months, he could only break a piece of paper from two meters away.

"Practice more. I told you not to be distracted. What are you doing?"

Jing Shizhen's face turned stern. Fortunately, he didn't mention the time it took to master the Palm Heart Thunder, or he would have to adjust his schedule again.

"Yes, Master."

Su Xiaofan agreed. It seemed he still needed to use the nurturing pool to nurture the technique, otherwise, he wouldn't know when he could be as impressive as his master.

Yes, Su Xiaofan thought the Palm Heart Thunder was very impressive. Don't ask why; it's just the vanity of a young man!

"Master, I'm going to meditate and practice. I won't eat dinner tonight!"

Su Xiaofan checked the time; it was around 4 PM. There were still over ten hours until morning, and he might be able to meet the time required to nurture the Palm Heart Thunder.

"Practice should be consistent. One day won't make a difference."

Jing Shizhen taught his disciple. In the past, he was often scolded by his master, but with Su Xiaofan, he rarely found a reason to scold him.

"Master, I'm not hungry."

Su Xiaofan was thinking about nurturing the Palm Heart Thunder. "And I think practice should be diligent. Maybe I can master it by tomorrow."

"You're being too ambitious!"

Jing Shizhen was about to continue scolding Su Xiaofan but then thought better of it. He waved his hand and said, "Since you insist, go ahead. I won't call you for dinner."

The role of a teacher is to help disciples avoid unnecessary detours, but Jing Shizhen felt that letting Su Xiaofan hit a wall first would make his teaching more satisfying.

"Yes, Master!"

Su Xiaofan happily went to his room and locked the door from the inside.

He pressed the mattress, and his palm almost sank into it. He shook his head and decided to meditate on the floor.

[Repair Value: 46 points!]

[The Palm Heart Thunder technique can be nurtured, requiring 30 points of repair value. Do you want to nurture it?]

"Start nurturing the Palm Heart Thunder technique!" Su Xiaofan thought.

[30 points of repair value deducted!]

[Remaining repair value: 10 points!]

[The Palm Heart Thunder technique: Nurturing, countdown 14:59:59...]

As soon as Su Xiaofan spoke, several messages popped up in his mind, and he felt his body stiffen, unable to move.

"Good, only 15 hours. I can complete the nurturing by 7 AM tomorrow."

Looking at the countdown, Su Xiaofan sighed in relief. If it took too long, he would have to pretend to have an epiphany and let his master fill in the gaps.

Like an automatic program, Su Xiaofan felt the true Qi in his dantian rapidly circulating according to the Palm Heart Thunder technique, and the speed was extremely fast.

Previously, it took Su Xiaofan about a minute to circulate the true Qi to his palms.

According to Su Xiaofan's observation, it took Jing Shizhen about 20 seconds to prepare when he used the Palm Heart Thunder technique.

However, the Palm Heart Thunder technique being nurtured was like a wild horse, with the true Qi surging like a river, circulating freely in his meridians.

"This... this is too fast!"

Su Xiaofan felt that the true Qi from his dantian to his palms and back took only a moment, and it was repeatedly circulating.

The narrow meridians in his hands gradually widened under the impact of the true Qi.

However, this forced impact caused a cutting pain in Su Xiaofan's hands.

Perhaps due to the nurturing pool, after about ten minutes, the pain gradually disappeared, and the true Qi began to nourish Su Xiaofan's meridians.

The true Qi, circulating at a speed of seconds, continued to repeat.

After six hours, the circulation route of the true Qi was deeply imprinted in Su Xiaofan's mind.

By the time twelve hours had passed, Su Xiaofan felt that the Palm Heart Thunder technique had become a part of his body's instinct.

When the countdown in his mind ended, Su Xiaofan stood up, and it was already daylight outside.

"Is this the successful nurturing?"

Su Xiaofan raised his hands and looked at his palms, feeling a bit uncertain.

During the nurturing, he had only been circulating the Palm Heart Thunder technique and hadn't actually released it.

"Should I try it?"

Su Xiaofan was standing about seven to eight meters from the door. As soon as he had this thought, he couldn't resist raising his hand and striking the door.

When Su Xiaofan raised his hand, the true Qi had not yet left his dantian.

But as soon as his hand was raised, the true Qi in his dantian instantly reached his palm.

Without any thought, almost instinctively, Su Xiaofan struck out with his hand.

The true Qi, which had been restrained in his palm, was released like an arrow, quickly leaving his palm.

With a loud "bang," Su Xiaofan was shocked to see a basin-sized hole in the door about seven to eight meters away.

At that moment, most of the true Qi in Su Xiaofan's body was instantly drained, leaving his dantian feeling empty and uncomfortable.

Now Su Xiaofan understood why his master's face had turned a bit pale after using the Palm Heart Thunder. The technique was powerful, but it also consumed a lot of true Qi.

"What's going on?" A loud voice came, and Jing Shizhen's face appeared in the hole in the door.

"Master, it's me!"

Su Xiaofan's shock had not yet subsided.

"I've mastered the Palm Heart Thunder!"
